Honestly it was impressive how much product placement was crammed into this
Very cute short, caused a bit of sniffling in the theater I saw this in
It was an interesting film gimmick to look at, which there was a bit more to it but it said everything it needed to
I saw this at a screening of the 2021 Manhattan Shorts and this one was my favorite of the 10 films shown. It started off with a very strong Tarantino style and ran with an absurd plot that I adored. I can see this one being turned into a full-length film for sure.
Definitely lost some of its charm in the third season, but the show has some pretty entertaining episodes hidden among a lot of just-okay ones. It isn't for everyone but there's some pretty solid comedy here.
Absolutely amazing coming-of-age story with some moments of the most brutally violent scenes I've ever seen in a show before. Execution was nearly flawless, acting was incredible, and although I felt the finale was paced a bit faster than the rest of the episodes it was a very satisfying conclusion to the season that has me ready for more.
I also really liked the detail of the title screen getting bloodier and bloodier each episode, good stuff.
I stumbled on this film randomly playing and I just ended up sitting through the whole thing transfixed. Definitely more art than documentary, but worth a watch to see a very diverse portrait of China.
Campy acting and cheesy dialogue, but it's damned entertaining with the action and when the main theme song kicks in you just can't help but get hyped up
Just give me a show about the wall people
Heartfelt look into the band from when they first became friends to their final gig, filled with hilarious and interesting stories and footage throughout a really enjoyable live-documentary.
