The title says it all: "This was not what I expected." It was a, let's see this one, spur-of-the-moment film. But it turned out to be quite a jewel. I loved the romance blossoming between the two opposites. There is a lot of nicely executed pratfalls between the two and embarrassing situations that never really seem overdone. While there isn't anything profound, this is a fun, sweet, and light romantic comedy.
The film is a little bit over the top.
Wow. What an episode. Learning about Gibbs before he was Gibbs. The last scene at the train station, where Gibbs gets a flashback, is the best. There he met his wife Shannon, there Leroy became Gibbs and its explains the foundation of Gibbs's rules. All in a scene of 60 seconds.
Wow. I was impressed by the way some fighting sequences were filmed, especially the one on the stairs. And what topped it off for me was the beautiful music. It took me right back to that time.
Perfect ending, I yelled. I never yell. Did not expected that. When you see this episode for a second time, some of the scenes have a completely different impact. So I recommend watching this episode two times.
I loved it when Penny was talking science at the end of the show.
Great plot twist at the end of the film. Loved it.
