This movie isn't out yet, but this place holder image is absolutely hysterical so 10/10 already.
Life in Pink is a great look into the life of one of the most controversial figures of our current generation. MGK opens his entire book to all of us in this deep dive of his career and personal life. All in all this is a great documentary and I encourage everybody, especially people who don't like MGK to watch this documentary.
I wish more musicals would get released like this after their runtime in theaters for people like me who have no way to see them live.
I watched this movie after 26 years for the first time and i do not know why i wait so long, i love it.
This was an unusual episode of Everybody Hates Chris...
It became a tradition to watch this every 5th of November. By far one of the greatest films ever made, must've seen it 8 or 9 times by now, always blows my mind. If I could rate it 11, I would.
Fantastic film music! :)
"I love animals. That's why I'm in the meat business" wtf?
9/10
I was totally engulfed in this film. Everything about it was well done. There was incredible character development, well-executed plot, and honestly an enjoyable world. There were multiple 'Inception' moments and SO many references to pop culture and the gaming world.
I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary on today's culture, and where we are going, taken to the extreme. It was neat to see the players who met online, meet in person and continue being friends, despite everyone being different in person. I really enjoyed that message as a gamer myself. Also funny to see commentary on corporate culture trying to take over any power available anywhere (in this case, a hobbyist gaming community.) Various good messages and insights on what the world has become/is becoming.
SUPER ENJOYABLE.
Nominated for Oscar's Best Documentary Feature, this film is clever, personal, creative and informative. I'm so glad I met Owen Suskund, and if I had a chance to tell him something, I would say to him that movies and TV taught me about life, and how to face challenges, too,, and it was there when I just needed to escape my overtaxed brain, and live someone else's reality for a while. This is a great documentary, and I give t an 8 out of 10.
Wow. Really liked this movie. The look of it is very dark and kind of dirty but on the other side it's a lot of fun and I thought the stoey was pretty interesting and exciting. Can't wait to watch it at home in 4K.
A solid movie focusing on a terrible incident. The acting overall is pretty great. Jason Clarke is a pretty underrated actor and can be great in the right roles. Ed Helms and Jim Gaffigan both give really good performances in non comedic roles. The pacing is pretty good, it kept my attention the entire movie. The story is still relevant to today's society. Overall worth a watch but nothing ground breaking.
Nothing you expect about this movie is what you'll actually experience.
I don't care what people say... I liked this movie! Sure some bits where predictable but I laughed most of the movie! Just like Baywatch... Don't think to much and just enjoy the movie
The draw for me to this show was Dwayne Johnson (son of Nova Scotia born Rocky Johnson from Amherst) and Karen Gillian. I'd alway thought I'd enjoy The Rock but was never drawn to his movie choices, and Karen Gillian has been crushing it ever since her DOCTOR WHO days. This movie was a blast! Situationally funny, challenging social mores, drawing life affirming conclusions, big adventure, great comedic timing and talent. It was a hoot and I'll probably watch it again when it is released to DVD. I give it an 8 (great) out of 10. [Young Adult, Action, Adventure, Comedy].
Just got back from the new Jumanji movie, and I had a lot of fun. All of the characters were great and they had fantastic chemistry together. I loved the Rock and Kevin Hart (back from Central Intelligence), but Jack Black really stood out with the funniest and most eccentric performance by far. The setup for the movie was solid (albeit a bit simple), and it served its purpose in giving us funny scenarios for the characters. This is definitely a fun movie to watch and just enjoy for some laughs and action especially if you haven't seen the trailer (the trailer spoils a few of the funny scenes). 7/10.
This is one of my absolute favourite shorts. I just want to watch this little birdie all day long!!!
Congratulations on the Oscar for Best Animated Short! #welldeserved
Nominated for Oscar's Best Animated Short Film. Absolutely delightful! Brilliant artwork, clever characterization, winning story, wonderful Piper! An absolute 10 (perfect) out of 10.
Excellent movie! Highly Recommended! These gentlemen have changed their entire lives by choosing to change what they eat!
Really good, everyone should give it a try!!
Juicing FTW!
This documentary, as well as their previous one, Cowspiracy, is really well done. I do think some people involved with the American Heart Association, etc. have good intentions but often upper management puts profit over people. That, of course, is really unfortunately. The good news is that as a RN, I have seen people's lives transform before me using a whole food, plant-based (vegan) diet. It's not a magic cure-all but works remarkably well for most of the chronic diseases killing Americans. If you haven't already, I would encourage everyone to try a plant-based diet for 30 days and then judge for yourself. Make sure to notify your physician, especially if you're on high blood pressure or diabetes medications as some adjustments may need to be made. There are tons of great resources out their to guide you that I have included below.

Another outstanding film in a completely resurrected franchise. War for the Planet of the Apes keeps the stakes high and manages to tell an emotional story even with the apes at the forefront. Andy Serkis is great once again as Caesar and Woody Harrelson creates a worthy rival for him. Matt Reeves continues to assert himself as one of the best blockbuster filmmakers available.
Lets start with how Hollywood deceived us with this movie, have you watched the trailer ? well too bad for you, THERE IS NOTHING from the trailer inside the movie, i don't understand why they want to promote a different angle of the movie than what is actually is. I watched a different approach of the movie than the one in the trailer, just don't watch it.
Now for the movie, yes it was fantastic, the CGI was visually stunning the story was so good and the film itself was very emotionally with some very dark and strong scenes. I cried at the end. The bad ape stole the spotlight for me. Just go and watch it and don't expect a great war between humans and the apes as the trailer suggests,.
team apes all the way!
I suggest you watch it and hopefully learn something from it
This is one of the best blockbusters ever. It has a ton of action, it is emotional and it makes you think. It's crazy how good the CGI is, you stop thinking about it because of how invested you get in Caesar's journey. Great supporting characters with Maurice and the new addition of Bad Ape. Woody Harrelson is fantastic as always. It will be interesting to see if Andy Serkis' name comes up for best actor next year at the Oscars. He definitely deserves some recognition for his performance.
I think its funny that nature has a ironic sense of humor. The disease that killed everyone is now turning the rest of the humans into a more primitive state. Caesar sparing the colonel was a very emotional moment. Showing he is a much more complicated character than just an ape on a revenge mission. This whole trilogy asks a lot of questions on what is humanity? A very emotional end to a great trilogy.
Great movie. Andy Serkis played his role as Ceasar perfectly.
The computer animated apes look really amazing! I forgot a few times that they were computer animated, they looked so real. But according to a few sources no real apes where used in the movie because Rupert Wyatt (the director) wanted to show humanity's mistreatment and abuse of captive apes. Apes are the heroes of this movie, and humans are the villains. And Rupert Wyatt said he couldn't imagine a worse way of undercutting that message than by using real apes in the movie's production.
Not allowed to do a review yet but I'll say this:
This is how you do a superhero movie.
This is how you do a war movie.
And the best comment of the night: "It was amazing, it made me believe I could become Wonder Woman." -6yo girl
