the fact that this was more fun than the entirety of S12 so far says a lot
somebody please explain what the fork just happened.
Oh man, season 5 can't come soon enough!
The Amazon money is really showing. The entire season and especially Ilus looked insanely beautiful.
Can't wait for Season 5. Going to be fantastic.
Netflix is on a roll with foreign shows right now. Hope that trend continues.
Another top Spanish series. Beautiful story, which clearly shows the separation between rich and poor. While this is often smaller than we think ourselves. Also the different relationships that arise, nicely reflect how many people actually interfere with each other's lives.
Scam queen (Cayetana) is cancelled
So cute when Guzman was being put into bed by Anders and Polo. Their bromance is so adorable. Also would be one hot threesome. They have such intense chemistry! That sneaky smile when he woke up and saw the two of them.
The ending was...disheartening to say the least. But also a very nice set up for a third season.
Sometimes, life is just dark. People are left with no answers and more questions. People are left angry, sad and with no hope.
I applaud this series for not going the easy way. But instead, the hard way.
wendy's storyline was totally disposable
A deeply disturbing and uncomfortable watch. Lucas Hedges gives a deeply rooted, present performance. Nicole Kidman's role is the pivot of this piece, and, unsurprisingly, she completely embodies the compassion and love needed. Russell Crowe does well with what he is given, but this is where I think the film fails - it never sees the father's crisis of faith and oversimplifies a very complex internal battle by characterizing faith as judgemental, manipulative and ultimately hateful, so it gave Crowe very little to work with (I think this was the unresolved issue of the author - he never really sees his father, and so that story is never told or the crisis resolved). Personally, I'm still waiting for a film that faithfully brings both real crises to the screens. I give this film a 7 (good) out of 10, but the whole story remains untold. [Drama]
a high school romantic comedy thats actually good? and its gay? please make more movies like this. it has a great cast and lots of heart.
Morello is definitely the character I feel the most pity for.
Good start, though they almost dropped the ball at the very end by quoting Mother Teresa as an exemplary humanitarian.
Other than that slight error in judgement, this could still be a good sci-fi show.
This was a fantastic episode. A much more satisfying ending than last year. I can see being upset by Quentin but not at the overall episode.
I didn't even mind they snuck in an extra group song.
This was far better than I was expecting and as it turns out I did not miss Mike nor the "Princess" at all. I especially enjoyed the growth of Katrina, I would love to see her get more air time now.
That was really intense. I'm praying they countinue this show for at least another season!!!!
Any episode where Jennifer gets to shine is a top fucking episode. What a blast this whole episode was. This season is really looking like it'll overdo the previous ones.
Now that was a fun U-turn! I was beginning to worry about where they were going with this humanizing arc for Jules-Pierre.
I had to pause the episode so I can write this comment, the speech is amazing really, I kinda felt the rhythm
I envy those who binge watch these, I cant deal waiting weekly, its just too good.
want Jessica Biel to stab me to death too romantically
I'm REALLY hoping the time travel thing is a red herring. Not that I don't love sci-fi (I do) it's that I'd rather this be a straight forward realistic world that it has been set up to be.
This show just does not stop! The creativity is abundant and overflowing with pure awesomeness! Gah!
This might be the best ‘Rick and Morty’ episode ever.
This fucking episode, man might be the best ever. I'm literally speechless.
So layered, so many call backs to real life politics. Rick/Morty analogues for racerelations. Equal Pay, Globalisation of companies. That whole wafer storyline. Fuck. I need to watch this again. No wonder they gave us two weeks to wait for this. So fucking worth it.
This show was way better than it had any right to be. It was supposed to be just a funny crime show wth dick jokes. But it's just so much more. It has great acting, smart writing, intersting characters and explores some very interesting ideas. Satire done right.
