Those last couple of minutes. Talk about intense!
Am I the only one who is sorry for Kelly? I mean, I like Amy, but Jonah really hurt Kelly. :/ She is so nice and she doesn't deserve this.
Omg I feel like a sex stream is a little too much just for a suspension
Cheyenne is literally the worst in this episode.
Whenever Cheyenne isn’t on an episode all I can think about is her being at target
It felt so wrong they turned against Amy just because of the salary. They were encouraging her to take the job. I felt disappointed watching them behave like that.
Cheyenne was a super brat in this episode. It's actions like this that can be annoying about this show.
Mateo is often annoying but he has been especially unbearable this season.
Episodes like this where I really dislike Glenn. He goes from loving Christian to child.
When did Myrtle end up back on the floor? Amy hired her as an office assistant.
I feel like Amy is such a bad manager, like almost glenn level! When we first met amy she was strong and confident but she really is a glenn when it comes to dealing with power figures, I’m gonna need for her to step up.
When jonah said that this is as good as it gets for some people, that really hit me cause it makes you wonder if you are one of those people too
This episode should have been called Amy's fight. I dont see this as amy being selfish, meoe her trying to save everyone's jobs.
This is bullshirt. Glen didn’t deal with half of the crap Amy has been dealing with, since the short time she became a manager.
And honestly, Sandra has been useless all along and all of sudden she decides to be unbearable instead. What the fork, man.
That last scene looked like it came out from a completely different show. Such a dark turn. Got me pumped for next season though!
That’s not how I pictured Colleen at all, she was like so normal and cool, I was expecting someone like Kelly or Jerusha or someone perkier.
Enjoyed seeing Maya as the new DM! She’s actually pretty neat comparing to the whirlwind that was Amy during this episode.
i LOVE this show, but this episode just really was not their best ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t mean to undermine the feeling of loss that everyone must have felt as friends and coworkers, but this episode hardly pays a tribute to Linda Porter and her journey on the show. Especially considering its title, “Myrtle”. Her passing merely works as a plot device to introduce Dina’s father and a bit of her backstory. And least importanly, to showcase once again how truly dumb and idiotic Glenn really is. We already know this show doesn’t take it self too seriously, but even the closing scene severely lacks substance.
RIP Linda Porter:sparkles:
I really liked Sandra better when she kept her mouth shut. Now she’s just as dumb as Glenn.
Joe seeing Love as a monster and being appalled by her killing people is so absurdly hilarious given that he is basically the same but the difference is that he is able to justify his own actions in his mind.
i LITERALLY hold my breath on the last scene
ok but them saying "we're in this together" means everything to me. vi har inte gjort nåt fel. through what is arguably one of the worst moments of their lives, they still have each other :sob:
thank you for not letting me go through this alone. <33
Well, looks like this show subverted my expectations yet again. I was sure the Isaac thing was gonna be dragged out till the last possible moment. I'm pleasantly surprised.
In other news, Maeve's mom is still the worst, the headmistress has made the fastest change from hero to villain I've ever seen, Maeve and Aimee's friendship is everything to me, Adam's character development is great (I love that he's finding ways to change his harmful patterns of behavior, we stan) and Otis and Ruby might just be the first time I actually ship the couple that's in the way of another couple I'm rooting for.
The double date was so fun. It started off super awkward, but Adam unexpectedly giving Otis great advice regarding Ola and finding common ground with Ruby over the Kardashians of all things was really heartwarming to watch.
The headmistress offering to help fund Maeve's trip to America has earned her a tiny bit of good will. Maeve deserves so much after all that she's been through. The show really wants me to get on the Erin forgiveness train, but it's not happening. The way she's treated Maeve is too awful to get past IMO. You don't owe people second chances just because you're related to them.
The last scene was heartbreaking. It must've been so hard for Ruby to open up to Otis and let him see past the facade and when he didn't say I love you back you could see her heart shatter. I know he shouldn't say it if he's not sure or not ready, but still, I felt so bad for her.
When Joe said " Things will be different this time " ah. here we go again
I like how both Love and Joe are deceiving each other so it's difficult for the viewers to pick a side. Also, I like how cheating is the same as murder for them - Love is impulsive, when she cheated she didn’t even think about it till after. But when Joe cheats, he plans it out conscientiously.
I'm happy we got a break from the hiding bodies storyline in this episode, and that Joe didn't kill Cory. It would have been waaay too repetitive having to watch them trying to hide yet another body for an episode or two.
OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT LOVE HAD A FIRST HUSBAND!!!!! That changes everything.
Also when did joe and love got married?
And I thought the kidnapping and arson thing was gonna be more dramatic!
And for some reason I’m not buying it between Marianne and Joe! I feel like aside of her addiction and custody problems, Marianne is like a more grounded person? She’s like independent, nice, educated, with high self esteem, she’s working into becoming the better version of herself, and so far Joe’s dating history has been Candace, Guinnivene or whatshername, Love, Natalie and all of them in my opinion were dealing with the same issues, like low self esteem, being desperate for love/attention, they were cheaters, and a mess and overall deranged individuals, that fits into Joe’s mommy issues, so I feel like in real life Marianne wouldn’t give Joe the time of day.
The award for the most unexpectedly sweet moment of the season goes to Olivia and Anwar rushing to Ruby's side when she was hurting. Their friendship sometimes seems really superficial, but they truly do care about each other. I love that.
I'm still not on board with Maeve and Isaac, but I liked that their scene together showed a different kind of intimacy. It wasn't the usual graphic sex stuff, and it felt appropriate for the moment and for the characters.
