Srsly. I want my time back. Need it to clean my flat - because this is more fun that watching this movie.

Oh............. I wasted my time watching this. So boring. And it reminded me of "Cars" so many times.
In my opinion, the movie is something between "fair" and "good".
Yah, the story is not the very best. It is not very deep, there are not many surprises in that movie, and you gonna predict in the beginning, what is the highest possibility how it is gonna end.
And I usually don't really like those kinds of movies.
And I also don't like Will Smith a lot.
But. Not all movies need many different story lines (like in Cloud Atlas) and big surprises so its gonna okay to produce such stuff. It is more important to me, that I do not get bored. Well, and it didn't happened in After Earth.
The animations are okay - not the best… that creature looked terrible bad. More than a monster than an alien… and that in a Science Fiction movie. We got horror movies for that stuff^^.
The Science Fiction part doesn't come to short anyways, not toooooo much action all the time.
What was really annoying was that military behaviour. All that saluting and to say "Sir" to his father. Bla!
It's okay to watch that movie, chillin' at home with some friends… so give it a try.
So it is not a horrible movie, and I do not understand the bad ratings here.
This movie unwatched so long in my library, and True Grit has really good ratings so I give it a try.
Even if i don't like Western movies. And I really, really don't like Western.
The plot:
The father of a very young girl got killed. She wants revenge and is hiring two wild-west guys to capture/kill him and she joins them on their hunt, which the guys don't like at the beginning.
Let's start with the actors: all great! All of them. Even if I am not that big fan of Matt Damon i have to admit that this movie might be the best actor-performance he ever did. The only problem I had with Jeff Bridges. As English is not my mother tongue it was hard to understand what he was saying. It was more than mumbling rather than talking .-/ So maybe you want to turn subtitles on.
The pictures were great. Honestly - wonderful. Open wide areas put you in the atmosphere that you are really in the Wild, wild west :)
Also the story is good. But it is still a western - movie. So all the time I feel like: "Oh I should like that." ... but I did not. Maybe I am more the Star Trek guy, or just a guy who doesn't like western.
So if you feel the same: you can watch it. But put your preferred Smartphone or Tablet device next to you when watching this movie so you don't get bored.
I am a little disappointed of this movie. Only a little.
It is part of a trilogy. I have already seen "Paradise Love" which was much more better. Ulrich Seidl (also) wants to shock with his movies, but nothing big happened there, but maybe just my expectations were to high.
When I compare it to Paradise Love, then I have to say that Ulrich Seidl is working with more pictures and less text. Usually its both shocking: the pictures and the text. But here I miss the text.
The movie was much more better in the beginning when she wants so missionize some random people in Vienna. After her husband got on the screen, I was annoyed of the plot that he is Muslim and her husband, and she his a hardcore catholic-person. I think it would be better if the plot would have gone into a different direction.
However I have to say that Maria Hofstätter is a great actress! I can recommend to watch this movie, but if you never have been in touch with Ulrich Seidl, you might consider to watch "Import / Export" first, then move on to "Paradise: Love" and then watch this movie.
I give that movie 7 out of 10 points.
The genre of this movie is action & thriller. Haha!
But it was more like a comedy movie! xD Because the movie takes itself serious, and I cannot support that. Gerald Butler counters 80+ people!? Even in "Die Hard" less people died. And the actors are really bad. Pfff.
Don't get me wrong: there are so many action scenes in it, blowing up half of Washington D.C. but thriller? No way. You already know at at the beginning of the movie, how it is gonna end.
Nothing bad about that, because I watched this movie to turn off my head , drinking some beer after a hard day at the university.
I gotta say I like movies with patriotism in it. Why? Because it makes me laugh when I hear USA! USA! USA! and flags of the US everywhere! Like in Independence Day or in Pearl Harbor . Nothing to be much proud of in this country compared to other countries in the world, especially after the "Snowdon" incident.
So I rate this movie as a "meh", 5 out of 10 points.
Have fun guys when watching this, but do not take it serious. Then you might gonna like it.

Shit. I really expected something more from that movie.
As I read the plot, I expected something great like in Short Bus ( http://trakt.tv/movie/shortbus-2006 )
But there wasn't. The plot is very simple and unfortunately there are not many surprises in it:
Guy wants to get back is girlfriend. She broke up because he is VERY conservative and really poor in bed. So he needs some help and finds that in a nice young lady. She is working as a stripper and got problems too: she has no clue about financial stuff but is very good in sex-stuff.
So they are helping each other. And a love story develops which you already predicted. .-/
But in my opinion it isn't a very sexual movie. Yes there are some scenes which are sexual but nothing that justifies the title "My Awkward Sexual Adventure"! The movie is more about a role-changing, role playing game. And that also doesn't really work out too much. But maybe its bad I compare it to a movie like shortbus.
But anyway: some funny scenes are in this movie, and it is quite enjoyable. But only 6 out of 10.
If you expect something really cool or good you better watch Shortbus.
This movie is a good remake from a fairy tale, with a little bit of a love story in it:
A poor farm boy falls in love with a princess. The farm boy is getting magic beans and voilà: giant roots of a plant out of the beans are growing, and so they visit the home of the bad-boy giants.
Since you know the fairy tale, you won't get any big surprises in this movie though. But that doesn't really matter if you watch this movie if you got nothing else to do in the evening. Good animated giants and the acting was also good. It seems Nicholas Hoult is getting more and more popular (He was also the main actor in the recent released movie "Warm Bodies") - and thats what I really appreciate.
But you also won't get bored watching this movie because its really entertaining!

Well: not happened here.
Uh. Hm. I am not sure what to say about this movie. The action scenes are good. The story not that much.
Honestly I can't understand, why Hollywood isn't making a whole new story, but using a fairy story and change basically the whole story. But this movie isn't about the story. It's about action.
Nothing big new in it, and I hate when an actor has to say when he might lose in a fight scene:
"Well, if you go home now - I might consider not to kill you!"
and the bad guy (there the witches reply:
"Wuahahahaha" (Thats an evil laugh) "You are so many more."
Honestly: How often have you seen such a scene. This is sooooooo stereotyped.
Definitely not a movie worth watching a 2nd time.
Finally I 've watched the movie with some friends yesterday.
And I gotta say: It was really good. But there is happening so much. You don't even get time to breath sometimes. One incident after the next one. Bam, bam bam! And that about two hours long.
Thats not that bad if you are into an action movie. But for me, Star Trek was always more than Science Fiction with action scenes in it. And thats why the movie is only getting 8/10 points.
If I want to watch a movie with no bigger story in it, which is Science Fiction & Action based - I gonna watch Iron Man or something like that.
Nothing big is happening in the story line - that is what I missed most... maybe because of the many action scenes^^. But Star Trek Fans will like that Kahn is showing up and Tribbles too - and one scene with a windows between Spock & Kirk. But that felt more like the writers/director want do give the Star Trek fans something to like to movie more..... Hmmmmmm.. ladidadida... hm!
Something about the 3D pictures: Many scenes in that movie are happening so fast, that the whole picture is very blurry. And the director played with many close ups... which were strange to watch.
Even if the 3D effects are really good, you might consider the option to not watch it in 3D.
Well. The movie is great. And I definitely gonna watch it a second or third time.
If you are into Science Fiction or Action movies : Go to your preferred cinema theatre and enjoy.
If you also like Star Trek: Just lower a little bit your expectations and you gonna like it as well =)

The movie is very steril/clean. I don't know how to explain it but something was wrong while watching this.
Anyway. You get few laughs when watching this movie, no big surprises. And you already know how the end is going to be, when you watch the first 15 minutes. What I am writing. After the first 5 minutes. ^^
If you got nothing else to do on an evening, and playin' some games with your smart phone when watching its, its okay to do so.
But after watching 1 time, I already deleted this movie from my library.
I think you like this movie when you are married. Or divorced.
But if you are not, you only get 2-3 laughs when watching this movie. And thats not enough for 1.5 hours of your life time. And the end is really bad. Dafuq?
If you do not expect to much of this movie - its gonna be okay and worth watching it.
The plot is set in the near future: A man is getting Alzheimer, his son/daughter send him a robot to help him. The old man was into some crime stuff when he was younger.... and now he got a new toy to play with :D
That's all without to spoiler too much.
They are really some funny scenes in it, but I like it more because of the possibility that using a robot in this way might be the future. Think about it: Its already possible to have cleaning-helps at your home. Vaccuum Cleaner are already on the market, and another one who's wiping your floor. (I got both by the way^^). Not to mention expensive toys like the Aibo from Sony. So lets see how this continues.
But if you expect many action scenes in this movie like iRobot: nope! And thats okay with that movie.
If you want to chill out on your couch after a sunny day: that movie would make it. And you might get some laughs out of it.
I give it a "Fair" so - 6 / 10 points.

I started watching that movie but I had to abort it after 1 hour because I got so bored .-(
Maybe I am too young to watch it. Hm.
Its about a boy in the middle 20s who wants so get an actors in HoHoHollywood. He's gay just like other people in Hollywood^^ and to get some money he's working in the porn industry. First he doesn't want to do a porn movie - but later he does. Why? To get money.
Then he works as an escort, meeting a celebrity and fall in love. But nobody can't know.
Everything in this movie I ve already seen - just with heterosexual content. So it's a gay-themed movie. Anyway: no big surprises, nothing special. 5/10

Well if u get some millions of budget to produce that shit, and if you decide as an director this shit has gonna happen in Germany - can you even get some proper translator who really speaks German?
As I am from Austria, German is my mother tongue (some people from Germany might disagree though ^^) I hardly could understand what the "Germans" in this movie are saying.
But not only mention the language I might wanna say if this movie should be funny: ITS NOT
Better watch something else or do something better with your time.
I cannot believe I watched the movie the whole 2 hours to the end.
Ha! At the beginning the daughter is making her driver license. It was crystal clear that she gonna drive in the movie again. Like hell I might add.
And it was soooo annoying as he always said: "Go. Drive. Faster!" And she: "I can't! I can't!
Well. Repeating that about 20 times? Hahaha!
The movie was okay, I guess. Many action scenes, some nice pictures from the roof-tops, nothing surprising in this movie.
