First I have to say that sports movies or in this case motor-sports movies are not the genre I usually prefer to watch.
But I gave Rush a chance, because friends told me that the movie is good, and Niki Lauda is an Austrian like me. Of course not the best reasons to watch a movie from a genre you are not into.
And I shouldn't have watched it. For me it was pretty boring, I started to skip some scenes. The acting of Daniel Brühl was really not good - and I hated that Austrian-English-accent. I guess yes, the people in Austria were bad in English at this time - but this accent for about two hours long. Noooooo.
But if you are into Formula 1 racing... I guess you gonna like it. I don't know. 4/10 hearts.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. Still love it as an adult now.
Its quite an entertaining movie with a few laughs. Not a waste of time so give it a shot. :)
The movie is pretty old, I know. But I still love it to watch on a Sunday when you are wasted because Saturday night was a hard party night. :D

I only watched this movie, because I like Aubrey Plaza so much.
Her character in "Parks and Recreation" is one of my favorites (after Ron Swanson of course^^), and this movie was really fun to watch.

2nd comment on this: I don't know, why this movie got rated so bad. It is much better than expected. There are quite a few laughs, and its much better than recently "comedy" movies. I suggest give it a try, it is def. not a waste of your time.
It is a movie with a lot of action scenes and violence. It is okay to watch it at home, but in cinema I would think I wasted my money a bit. ... so don't expect too much, because there are also some plot holes in it.
If you are into a well produced action movie: go for it, you won't regret it. :)

The movie got very beautiful pictures! I loved them - they were really stunning.
I think nearly everyone knows the story of Snow White - and even the story got adapted a lot, the movie was a little bit too boring for me. Indeed I had to skip some party and move fast forward. .-/
Maybe I shouldn't watch a remake - or maybe they shouldn't do a remake. There are so many good new stories out... Why not take a whole new story, make a movie with those actors and those beautiful pictures and visual effects? ... I don't get it.
... but leave out Kirsten Stewart. Her acting compared to the other actors was sooooo bad.

First you got to know, that I like this kind of movies. Conspiracy theories with aliens are great. =)
The actors and actress are really playing great in this movie. And the Thriller-part of this movie are also good. I never get bored, and there are not too much alien-based bullshit in it. Or mystery stuff.

I usually don't have problems watching movies in English. -But I gonna admit it was really to understand sometimes what they are talking about in the movie.
Well - many action scenes in it, nothing really new. But if you have nothing else to do on an evening, and playing some games witch your iPhone or prefered smart phone device during watching the movie its okay to go for it. ^^
If I would ve watched this movie as a kind, my mind would have blown. Wow =)

I watched this movie not in English, because I was afraid that I won't understand the Irish accent. I think that was a great decision.
Well - the plot is simple: horrific aliens want to settle down on a small island, and they need blood and water to survice - but they are allergic to alcohol. What a fortune for the irish people - all they have to do is to get drunk to beat the aliens. Whohooo!
And there is also a new girl in "town"; a police officer who is usually not into drinking. But u bet: she got really drunk in this movie, and about after half of the movie she likes her colleague as well.
Nice movie though; nothing really new. But at an evening if you got nothing else to do - give it a try; especially if you like Shaun of the Dead (which is much better ofc).
