This movie doesn't feel right.
Those two guys are so old now, they have earned enough money and should stop their actor careers.
The movie was bad anyways.
First I have to say that sports movies or in this case motor-sports movies are not the genre I usually prefer to watch.
But I gave Rush a chance, because friends told me that the movie is good, and Niki Lauda is an Austrian like me. Of course not the best reasons to watch a movie from a genre you are not into.
And I shouldn't have watched it. For me it was pretty boring, I started to skip some scenes. The acting of Daniel Brühl was really not good - and I hated that Austrian-English-accent. I guess yes, the people in Austria were bad in English at this time - but this accent for about two hours long. Noooooo.
But if you are into Formula 1 racing... I guess you gonna like it. I don't know. 4/10 hearts.

After I watched this movie about 10 minutes I felt like I already have seen this movie. But I wasn't right.
The US produced the same movie in 2012. And the plot is the same, sometimes the camera positions are the same... it is pretty crazy.
Said that, I suggest you better watch this "version" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGoe7BdGdlg instead of this one.
Because the only reason why you wanna watch this movie is, that you gonna have some nice action scenes in it - and Red Dawn (2012) is much better as this one.
I just watched the trailer and it feels like a cheaper version of iRobot?

As an adult I do not like those dancing scenes with nasty music.
And I don't like to know how the movie is gonna end after 15 minutes watching.

The story is very different from the books. So u might also gonna try to read the book from Wolf Haas.

I didn't enjoy the story at all. Can recommend to watch it one time, if you got nothing else to do.
Pretty much an uninspired movie. Not a huge waste of time, watching it - no recommendation either.
I am not quite sure, if that is an anti-USA or western world propaganda movie.

2nd comment on this: I don't know, why this movie got rated so bad. It is much better than expected. There are quite a few laughs, and its much better than recently "comedy" movies. I suggest give it a try, it is def. not a waste of your time.
It is a movie with a lot of action scenes and violence. It is okay to watch it at home, but in cinema I would think I wasted my money a bit. ... so don't expect too much, because there are also some plot holes in it.
Its quite an entertaining movie with a few laughs. Not a waste of time so give it a shot. :)

I wasn't aware that Ulrich Seidl got his own movie production company.
It makes sense, that this movie isn't standard. It is disturbing, strange and really great to watch.
Give it a try :)

I only watched the trailer but I cannot believe, that such a crap is getting produced.
Just get "film makers", producers and bad writers: The time of "Not another teenie movie" "scary movie" and all that shit is over!
