Hooooooooooow is this show not more popular? Why did I have to find out about it by chance? So far, 3 episodes in, it's fantastic fun and pretty well animated. The fact that the plot spans over the whole first season or even whole show makes it all the more interesting, love those Babylon 5 esque space operas! ;)
No, but really, good stuff and I sincerely hope that enough ppl watch it so that we get more than one season at least.
You know those shows where the main character does EVERYTHING wrong and you scream at the television the entire time? Be prepared. It's exactly like that.
I loved this movie with all my heart!!Finally a main female character with a great personality..
I just feel bad for that poor guy. In one world is his eye, in the other, his arm... I really wouldn't like to be him across the multiverse
i typically struggle remembering the family trees but now there's a whole ass new world with different families and damn... i'm gonna struggle big time
This was a great take on a dark past, bringing comedy and satire to the forefront, and I absolutely loved it! While being comedic, there are many emotional parts to the film, which I was rather surprised to see. One moment you're laughing hard, the next you're on the edge of balling your eyes out. I never would have expected to see a film quite like this done on Nazi Germany, it was very well made.
With this being Roman's first-ever professional acting job, I was incredibly impressed - he is awesome, and I certainly look forward to his next project(s). He was able to capture the rollercoaster of emotions, thoughts and feelings that may be going through a child growing up in Nazi Germany—who is being told who is okay and who is not—with ease. Taika never fails to please me with his work, and Stephen is a very funny actor. The way that Hitler was mocked through Taika really adds into the thought that not everyone is as strong as they are said to be. Thomasin brings in lots of emotion, and Roman just blows the film out of the park.
Seeing it for my 7th time, I think I'd probably upgrade this from one of the best films of 2019 to one of the best films of the decade.
I shall certainly be seeing this several more times, and I definitely recommend it.
I LOVE SNOWCONE THE REINDEER.
Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the Three-eyed Raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King.
This show makes my emotions go all over the place, especially Season 3.
Skam has my heart. MASTERPIECE
So.
I cried.
A lot.
And it made me so f mad and angry.. I will not be having a kid for a long time yet..
Ah! Mads: a delight to watch as always.
Hank truly is my favorite character. Glad he got much more screentime. Well done character development with him getting upset at Barry and pushing Barry to do the job, cold like. Although the pop music when Hank gets back into his car was perfectly in character for him and made me laugh :joy:
I also thought Barry's scene explaining his first kill was a great addition to his backstory.
A decent beginning with good casting. My only gripe is that it's hard to believe that a couple of seemingly harmless kids trespassing on a sat dish would result in anything more than a routine report, if that. But here, it sets off a bunch of red flags that somehow make it into a report that makes its way to the bad guys in just three days? That's a bit of a stretch. Something had to bring in the outside world, sure, but this was a pretty weak way to do it.
I love the thought behind this. Valuable history lesson in a futuristic setting
A must watch for everyone in India.
This movie is weird, funny and beautiful.
It shows that how a typical Indian family stays together even in the most embarrassing and difficult times. There love for each other never ends.
Aayushman Khurana's expressions at the end was so natural.
One night out of nowhere Lotje Sodderland ends up in the hospital because of a stroke. The film takes you on Lotjes journey of recovering with all it’s ups and downs.
This film made me so sad, and I didn’t really know why. Lotje shows herself as such a beautiful, strong, happy and optimistic woman. In the end I think what made me sad was the fact that she didn’t deserve to go through all that. But then again, nobody does. I could feel her struggle with finding words, writing and even reading. Every time she couldn’t find the words for something all I wanted to do was help her.
This is such a strong movie and it gave me the time to reflect on the fact that these things happen as well, having a stroke is a something so big for the people who have them and the people around those people. You never really hear anything about it though and this documentary gives us the opportunity to reflect on it, to think about it and to understand.
I really enjoyed the footage that Lotje filmed herself, it made it so much more personal. I think the way they brought the colours into the footage was great as well, first I thought “This probably isn’t what Lotje is really seeing” but then I thought, maybe it is. She had a say I everything, she is one of the directors, so she must have told and explained how everything looked and felt. That made me feel so much closer and it helped me understand even better. You became part of the experience.
Although I sometimes didn’t really understand the medical terms, or the things the doctors where saying, I learned so much from this documentary. I think everyone should watch it, interested in the brain or in people who recover from strokes or not, it is worth it.
And again in this episode, Dr. Dumont proves she's a complete idiot. If you have a mentally ill dangerous fugitive in your house, is not it logical that you have the precaution of watching him for the good of others? Billy Russo like any ordinary person, being one of the most wanted criminals in the huge city of New York, can go out for a few drinks as if nothing. Pff!
Nothing says crazy like some self flagellation. Religious crazy is the worst crazy.
Doctor chick (from Supergirl) is also crazy. And a self cutter.
This is great quality drama, as you'd expect from the BBC, just sad they had to go with the tired old trope of male bodyguard sleeping with his subject, but I suspected it was coming when the titles highlighted the word 'body'
Definitely in the top 5 DC Animated movies to date. I would argue that it could be the best one. This is what the Justice League movie should have been. Hopefully part 2 can live up to it's predecessor. Animation, Voice acting and story were spot on. Be sure to watch it all the way through the credits!!!
Im a fairly harsh grader, this one got a 9. I loved this movie so much. This movie introduced so many subplots of the dc universe, that I had to stop it serveral time to google what was being mentioned. Is WW jealous of LL? Also nearly all of my most favorite characters are here, Supes, of course, Martian Manhunter, Damian and Steel, yes, freaking STEEL! Lex was on the Micheal Rosenbaum level of Lex. And we also have a ton of mystery being introduced. Its clear DC is concentrating on TV shows and these direct video animated movies rather than the big screen. An excellent approach if you ask me, because I have watched all of em, especially the arc with Damian, this little dude nearly killed Superman in one of the movies, he's better than his pops. Generally I live for the next Star Wars movie, and pray for another Stargate anything, but for now, all I want to see is the next series of movies that will come from this masterpiece.
Oh yeah, why did I give it a 9? No Brainiac. The bar has been set by Krypton, Smallvile and other movies, no Brainiac, no 10. Damn I cant wait for Wonder Man!
DC Knows How To Making Animated Movies & This Is Probably One Of The Top 5 They Have Made To Date. On Part With Flashpoint And A Few Others That I Can Think Of. I Don't Know Why The Justice League Movie Wasn't Nearly As Good As This, Animation Is Amazing, Voice Acting & Story Were Spot On.
Shouldn't Be Missed & Will Be Thoroughly Enjoyed. Watch It All The Way Through. We Need More DC Animated Movies, Can't Get Enough Of Them.

"I was determined to leave this world but I wouldn't leave it without her." - Akecheta
This is energetic movie and i think it's 'bout full on live in the moment.
Netflix really did a spectacular job in their first outing(in the Indian market) as the series shines on various fronts. The writing , the cinematography and acting is top-notch.
The show doesn't shy away from explicit content and you will get to know this in first 30 seconds in the show.
It is bold about political and religious commentary.
And a note to viewers: If you can , do watch it in Hindi. The English subtitles(or any other, as a matter of fact) don't do justice to the epic dialogues.
[7.1/10] I gotta admit, LWT is getting a little predictable. The opening round-up was a solid enough overview of the week's news, but nothing that different than other comedian commentators have offered. His bit about Chuck Schumer's repetitive graduation speeches was an amusing bit, but the show's done the same schtick for John McCain's jokes.
And the main story, about modern day China, was a nicely done broad overview of the country's recent history, but (a.) Oliver had a hard time squeezing the show's humor into some tough topics and (b.) as soon as we saw the silly China-produced commercial for its infrastructure project, I just knew LWT would have its own parody at the end of the episode.
There's nothing wrong with the show, or even this episode, but it may simple be that nearly five seasons in, the formula of this once-refreshing alternative to the late night political comedy scene is starting to become more evident to long-time viewers like yours truly.
Make no mistake. This is not a great movie. But somehow I enjoyed it. Maybe it's a combination of Dolby Vision + good music. It's just beautiful to look at. I would definitely watch the sequel Ibiza 2: Tokyo!
