Eve wants to be strict and wants everything to go smoothly yet you have a scene when Bode comes with a civilian girl who just ran out from the woods and everyone is pissed bc he broke a rule and not him or even his friend knew about the rule. Not that they forgot or didn't give a damn. The friend actually asks what is going on and Eve has to tell them. Wtf?! You get new inmates and apparently don't even give them a welcome with all the rules ? Am I dumb or what the heck is this?!
Also, the problem with Cara and Gen. Cara didn't want to tell Gen about Bode to not let her see him in orange. Yet next ep they told her everything. I thought they might wanna tell her about a possible father and the paternity test and in my opinion they might let her decide if she wants to know before the results come in. She's 12 and her entire life blew up, Cara could have told her the consequences of thinking it's this father before the results. Now I'm 100% sure for more drama it won't be his daughter and she will get attached to him before they'll know it.
I feared it will be the same as season 1, which meant Bode trying at Three Rock for eps and eps to be a free man. A lot happened in the 6 months between seasons, and a lot had been undone with this ep so we are right back at first ep season 1 pretty much.
Wow, Gabriella said her life before the new guy was a lot of waiting... she and Bode barely dated so could be 2 months? 3? and she waited for him for 2 months before giving up? That's A LOT of waiting? I'm not saying she shouldn't move on and quickly,. From her pov I wouldn't think he deserved more from her, I'm just saying she freaking havent been waiting for him to be free that long. Also.... 4 months and engaged? A lot of drama in this ep was very exaggerated to just make chaos for 2nd season and not be boring I guess.
Everyone is almost very well adjusted to their new roles in life and we don't get to see the trials and errors so Idk. I think I will be judging a lot the problems Jake and Eve will have along the season especially as they had half a year to get their feet wet as Captains.
28 eps, I feel that at the end of 2nd season we'll be again so completely in a different world as we are now. I hope this time the family Leone drama will be more believable, it doesnt seem so now. Everything feels forced and we also will have Gabriella and Bode drama which also I feel i dont want bc she's going with the new guy so quick I won't believe her feeling being strong or not anymore.
At least the fires were going strong in 1st season, might say the best situations from all the fire fighting shows last year. Hopefully this year too.
I saw the spoilers, I hate waiting weekly for eps and usually watch whole seasons... I resisted whole two days, still a win! Bc only 5 days till the next one T.T
I always hear/see comments about every show has to have a gay in it, nowadays a lesbian, a gay, and so many more LGBTQ+ reps and I get that it might be boring at this point BUT having a 6 seasons fully heterosexual Player looking out for sth, OPEN TO ANYTHING?! That's what I love to see, especially in first responders show which gives more substance to lives of its characters and has room to go with such a path? LOVE IT! Would love it more if the idea started at least with the opening of the season, all in one ep felt so rushed and like it took the whole ep (I dont mind the whole ep being this but so many might think it being forced). Either way, I love it and I will be impatiently waiting for the next ep, and the next, and the next... Bi, gay, pan, or whatever.
I thought it might be good bc of how amazing The Ones Who Live is but they completely lost me after 37 minutes already with "the prophecy" "new messiah" x.x yeah, nope!
Oh no! I fell in love with Gianna's character from the first scene and she's leaving so quick? She was amazing and she brought awesome new energy to the show :(
Nooo! It was actually kind of interesting and I wanted to know more. And it's cancelled now? :(
it was very easy to predict and ofc so many things were impossible but... i had fun! it was entertaining and almost every character was likeable. I don't like comedies and this gave me a little hope in comedy department. Definitely didn't think im gonna watch past 1 ep and I watched it in one sitting.
It wasnt a good horror, or suspense even. But I give 7 for the chemistry between actors, even tho Evie was so naive a woman living in NY shouldn't, probably more so a black woman.
It was like a great depiction of Dracula for the very faint of heart xD
This is a weird finale. The great reveal of the plan feels like a scene cut in the middle and I was like "That's it? There's no more episodes?" Didn't feel much to be honest.
The series needed so many more minutes in the last episodes.
Also I knew from the beginning Sam was a little shit to kill off.
I'm so pissed at the ending but I should have predict it even tho I barely know The Boys.
Ok, im starting to forget there's a murderer and I ship romantically some ppl, hope they're not gonna die!!
It's not disturbing as AHS was at first seasons (which I loved), it's not a horror, it's not even funny... it's just boring at this point. You stop caring for characters bc you know they're gonna die. It's so beyond paranormal I don't even have the chills. It's so many bad seasons after bad seasons I think I'm gonna wait again for 5 years and see if it progressed in a good way.
WTF? The kids in "horrors" as annoying as ever. I wanted her dead even before she took the pill. But I got through the eps just to see to complete mess of an ending. So counterproductive. So they wanted ppl with talent to have money but they are ok when mass killing starts? Like who will pay for your "stars" ? X.X
I wasn't even listening to the bullshit monologue.
SEASON 2 CONFIRMED! Yes! I love the constant action and the vastness of different powers. I so struggled to not be bored with The Boys but I'm completely happy that I tried Gen V. I just wish the eps were as long as The Boys, it's hard to wait a week for mere 35 min.
Finished after many years. It was good till like half point. Then it's just goes downhill so fast that the last 2/3 episodes were so hard to watch and i stopped caring about anyone.
Characters don't learn even when plots ("twists"?) are so repetitive. The family dynamic was nice but at the end, after everything it went to parents wanting kids to stay in one place, kids rebelling, noone trusted anyone to take care of the situation and actually noone could for some weird reason even tho at the beginning of the show they somewhat kicked asses.
It went from post-apo/apocalyptic show to mythological creatures and demons to dinosaurs and time travellers in only 13 episodes.
Also, I never thought about this show to be anything other than for teens and maybe that's why i was interested in the first half. Then I think it tried to be more for adults and they just didn't know what will interest adults so they pulled everything they could.
I'm giving 6 only because I know I loved the first half in 2016 and I watched so many shows with "poor" acting and definitely poor CGI with potential so I'll never lower the score for having less money for CGI.
I feel like this season is so all over the place. As it always is when you have many characters and everyone is elsewhere. Idk if the book goes the same but this season lacked in action and in creating anticipation. Every episode gives only a snippet in each journey which i forget in a moment. Maybe if this time the season had more episodes they could give characters longer scenes? I felt like those 7 eps for now had action of maybe two and were already before the finale and I'm like... meh? At least i started liking Egwene for a bit but what does it say about a character that she's likable only when being a slave/prisoner?
I REALLY would like to read the books but I could never get through Rand and Mat stuff X.X they're the worst
I so freaking love that everything is so tightly connected xD It's why i watch till the end even the boring seasons
Finally little things i was shocked/cared about. The delivery of actors is amazing bc i was super bored with some plots and some scene within those plots in this ep made me glued to the screen.
This time around only one plot entertains me. Trantor and Cleons fell so much I just cant. All of them are such wussies now I cannot believe how they are in power. They are falling more than the Empire which should be other way around. And I love watching Lee Pace and now I just hate when he's on the screen in this role.
The Princess is annoying as F and I cant believe how anyone could be fooled by her. She's completely cannot hide her resentment from the 1st scene and they only see when she wants them to see her hate. HOW?!
If it's really hard for me to believe Cleons can uphold power it's really anticlimacting anyone being afraid or believe in their power. At this point all of them could be dead and Empire would be still standing so why is anything concerning them still?
too much children... i skipped most of the episode bc they have so much plot armor for their stupidity i dont care about anything. They also dont bring much to the story and information. Idk who thought it would be a good idea to have the main focus on them. 4 eps and the black stuff wasnt even used and that was the story I was interested in, and the family, tho the brother is more and more annoying but that's just the wanna-be-alpha thing starting to come out bc of growing up... yet i wouldn't mind killing him... but kid plot armor x.x
I could manage the 1st season but this time there are so many hypocrites i can't watch it. My whole heart goes to Vic, even tho sometimes she seems to like getting ppl angry saying too much but after everything i would get my money worth. Ive never seen so much carelessness about money so she should F her brains out at this point and there would be no justification if Lana throws her out. The rest of them talking about vengeance if she breaks the rules?! Excuse me?!! She taking her revenge on you. How is this justice if she doesn't do anything the whole show and at the end she gets the same amount as them?
Wow, I'm so sorry for Malva now...
OMG Tom for the win! I'm bored from the start of 4th season and Tom became my number 1 best of new characters. How tragic!
I am sooo shocked with Tom. Loving the idea not every man is simple to know from the beginning.
I'm used to books which have trigger warnings before such things... This was a taugh one. I paused a lot, I skipped a lot, I paced around the room a lot...
I was somewhat okay with the last one bc it wasn't Claire but this? It changes my view on Claire entirely (not bad not good just I'll probably be reminded of these scenes everytime watching her)
The one thing is good that Jamie doesn't react like any other men would. He survived it, even when he didnt want to with her by his side. That's the freshness of another R in the series.
"I survived f*** WWII and I'm supposed to be broken by this?" I love her, she's so strong. 90% of the show I forget how strong she is and then we have a season finale. The show should be more balanced. Amazing last scene tho.
Idk I just thought the best twist would be if she went insane and killed all her friends and didnt know about it. I wished it it but knew it's not gonna happen so I knew who it's going to be from the beginning almost.
I started Korean love reality tvs with Heart Signaal. It was nice, entertaining but slow and with resolve and reason. This is something else! It changes everything when ppl have the disadvantage of little time. Eden was a little bit to much but this one is somehow the perfect fit between Korean and American style.
I think revenge plots are my favourite in kdramas xD But also so many unexplained things and missed opportunities for actors to shine more.
We never got a reveal for Jun Kyoung that Ari is dead and also that Ari might be alive. I wanted this so bad only for the purpose to see actors talent bc i was mesmerized about his ability to convey emotions so quickly and clearly as he did during the kiss scene. He was focused on reading Aris emotions then in a second he was shocked but then the feeling and determination changed his face i was so excited to see more for him but we didnt get that.
I would also love to see aftermath for every celebrity at the end. After some time not like during which we got. Did Angela became a full on prostitute? And what with the others? Some quickly decreasing followers numbers and maybe their occupations afterwards would be amazing.
What also bugs me the most is we never saw why/how Aris family bancrupted, we didnt get answers for her "uncle" and mothers behaviour. They just were like that without us knowing the full story. Also why Ari hated on Jun Kyoung that much at the beginning, even if its for his money and being treated like royalty we dont know WHY she hates that kind of behaviour. I was constantly thinking that it had to be bc how ppl treated her after her family's downfall. Why Jun Kyoung hated drugs so much that he was disgusted with Ari just being next to the drugs? So many questions.
I understand Aris decision at the end but I would love for her to maybe use her channel to help others, maybe to talk about honesty, loyality and anti hater stuff. Naive... but would be very hopeful.
I really pitied the main actress and Lee pace about being in such a movie while watching it but the end made it like a satarical of a thriller? It really made the whole expirience very different. It's sort of 'you need to hear the story to the end' kind xD
I really wished it wasnt cancelled.
Yes, it is naive and the acting at the beginning is very out of balance but the last 2 episodes has some very amazing fight scenes and the seriousness finally got to the characters. Still, its a YA story... but I was interested to see more at the end.
