I don't like olde timey movies and I don't like romantic comedies, but Roman Holiday reminded me of the best parts of my past and let me forget the worst parts of my present.
I have an affection for Audrey Hepburn that borders on the unhealthy. She personifies for me all that is good and pure in life, and thus all that is pure and good in cinema, as cinema is life.
And, my God, that ending!
A perfect chicken soup movie--Peck and Hepburn couldn't possibly be more charming or have more chemistry. It's a delight from start to finish, without a wrong step throughout. I love this movie.
what a lovely experience this movie was. (heartbreaking too) the final scene made me cry and feel like a 13 year old. Audrey looks so beautiful, when the camera focus on her face she looks ethereal, it's just so nice to watch her, and to see her character development too. I highly recommend this <3
This is one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn films. While her later work is also great, this film is just so fun. Audrey is classy and beautiful and yet also does a great job embodying the naivete and that intense desire for a normal life. There plenty of fun moments and a sweet romance. This will always be an unforgettable Hepburn classic.
It has been a while since a movie or show has made me cry, I certainly wasn’t expecting this bonkers anime to be the one to do it. It switches from comedy to drama at the drop of a hat. It does lean more towards comedy though, and it excels at it. Every episode is a joy to see what weird escapades they are gonna be getting into this time. And yet I found myself caring a great deal about the main cast and their lives. The final episode was a great way to tie things up, and after a very sad but realistic loss I found myself crying with a mixture of happiness and sadness with that final scene. It was a very fun and engaging time throughout.
Still wondering where the high octane was? Waste of 96 minutes avoid unless you want to wonder if there are worse ways to waste an hour & half!
Some nice airplane and carrier footage in an otherwise typical mid50s war movie.
To be perfectly honest I don't watch this because of the story. Althought this one, despite all the usual drama and stuff, has a good - not happy - ending. My father liked this, we watched it together and I got my interest in aviation from him.
Movie was a little slow for my liking. Clark Gable always delivers but found Grace Kelly’s character nauseating. She plays so squeamishly fragile all the while boning Clark Gable.... who can blame her.
So much cringe, so VERY MUCH CRINGE. And unnecessary slow mo in every other scene.
Pretentious garbage, is what this is.
Not a terrible movie. I am bored of the maternity horror genre, but Sydney Sweeney gave a really compelling performance here. Has an interesting storyline which I really wish was explored more in depth, however I do understand how it needed to play out.
Well, this was a surprise. I've long since grown bored of nun and religious horror, but Immaculate was genuinely enjoyable. It didn't go as hard as it could have, but it went hard enough to be satisfying.
mmaculate is a very good horror film. Great cinematography and soundtrack. Sydney Sweeney gives a great performance with a particularly striking finish.
I am so glad that Pixar abandoned the story of Cars 2. This movie picks up where the first movie leaves off and it was such a good decision! This is equally as good as the original Cars and amazingly greater than the failure of Cars 2
Master piece !!
I love It so much !!
A movie of colossal grandeur and special effects.
I can't wait for this. I want to see this Western adaptation of the novel and compare it with the 2023 adaptation made by Tencent (China).
This Movie is excellent, Ford is so funny, I'm use to seeing him in serious westerns, but he had me laughing so hard.
Haven't seen it.... [edit: saw it may 21 - https://trakt.tv/comments/676690 ]
Can't wait tho (Pennywise voiced by Archer, Andrew Koji, Sharlto, bunches of others)...oh, man!
Though, from reviews of, "Oderbruch," on IMDb, my expectations are... not high.
Theatrical release 4/26
Spencer Tracy's speech at the end made me cry, just a little bit.
Hell of a film - three of the four leads were already Oscar winners, and Katherine Hepburn won for this as well. And you can see why.
I thought it was pretty neat. It's not Endgame, but it's not trying to be. It's a pretty small, kinda old-school self-contained superhero movie that doesn't do much to heavily worldbuild. It doesn't even have a post-credits scene with Sam L Jackson. But I thought it was pretty neat for what it is.
"When you take on the responsibility, great power will come.”
If you were here to see Sydney Sweeney she’s in a spidey suite for 25 seconds of the movie. This movie is goofy. The Amazon spider people had me dying laughing. The dialogue is poor, not as poor as Sony is to be making this garbage. No explanation other than for the trailers to have villain look like spiderman. The action is lame, but atleast how awful the third act set piece looks made it slightly entertaining. I’m begging you Sony please stop making these. I’m sure Kraven will be just fine…..
You can skip this. I deleted it half way boring shit
A really, really terrible Movie. It seems as if an AI wrote the script and mixed all the successful films of every genre.
Then there are the terrible sets, effects from the 90s and the usual idiosyncratic Netflix look.
This is not SciFi, not fantasy and not action. A new genre like “cheap AI” is needed.
I will never watch the second part and recommend that everyone not watch this part either.
Heartless Waste of time
while I didn't like the fact that I had to read through subs, this episode so far is the best thing in the season story-wise. I hope Marvel Studios will care to explain in next 2 episodes why all these season 2 episodes seemed so non-coherent
Wow! More of this please
This season has been great, but this episode in particular is incredible
"What If..." is always a treat, but this was absolutely beautiful. I really hope to see more of Kahorri... not just in the What If universe, but in our live action films and television shows... and woven into the comics themselves to cement her place among Marvel's legends. Her powers are growing so fast. If this had been timed a little differently, she could have been a major character in The Marvels for sure.
