How does this at all related to the high republic period, we see nothing apart from these witches and stuff, so boring, the chanting part was like some musical, so cringe. Also witches supposed to use magic, not force, this is all wrong.
Good job making Jedi look evil and witches sweet & peaceful, what the actual f? Jedi never took away children without parents consent. Also kids are already too old, why would even Jedi test them, they are not supposed to be eligible at this age, why even bother?
So it was the Jedi who raided the place and burned it to the ground to kidnap the kids hence the guilt is it? What the f? Osha is super traumatized, conflicted, old, and too attached, 10 times worse than Anakin, why go this much effort for those boring twins? ZERO sense
Wookiee Jedi was the only good thing in this whole episode.
Better than the previous one. This brings back the classic buddy cop action-comedy genre. The directors have surely improved the story and action sequences. Kudos for bringing Reggie back!
This is definitely not a movie for everyone (most people?), but it is definitely a movie for me — I loved this thing. The voice over/humor is hit or miss, but I did not find it annoying, and I often found it funny. The action sequences are phenomenal, but the editing is chaotic and often handheld-like. The story and characters are just a means to drive the movie forward, and to go from one set-piece to the next, often building and expanding in ridiculousness. The end fight had some absolutely visceral moments. A lot of the action is so over the top that I just laughed and had a great time. Not the last fight. That thing is a drag out, dirty, amazing piece of choreography.
Bad score/needle drops. The music did not fit a lot of the scenes.
trailer is best Dune movie ever, but whole 155mins movie is totaly boring and waste of time
This probably one of the boring Kdrama storyline ever, the premises actually good however the story doesn't lead to anywhere
There's so much character, but they failed to make the audience relate or care the character's struggle.
The ending was so so meh, there's not even a asteroid crash scene!!
So frickin dissapointed. Luckily i skipped a ton until the end. And glad this super boring drama has over.
Almost passed from reading the comments here, but glad I decided to make my own assessment. It took into episode three for me for it to completely find its legs, and then I power binged the rest.
This isn't the same old story and I'm thankful for that. There's at least a half dozen movies I can revisit if I want more of the same. This is something new and interesting precisely because you don't always know what's coming. It's certainly not without its issues, but I think dismissing this show after one or two episodes would be a big mistake.
Interesting characters with beautiful sets and scenery go into the win column. Some overused tropes and a few out of character moments hold this back from it's full potential. All in all this was an entertaining watch and I'm looking forward to another season.
A highly enjoyably Neo Noir movie that illustrate perfectly the snowball effect of violence and its detrimental effect but also the snowballing impact of our own choices, it depicts how it is often hard for the youth to find their own place in the world and to escape this sort of claustrophobic society they live in while dealing with family struggle and multiple form of abuse.
The movie has some flaws such as the length, the montage that could have been better, and a very noticeable problem when it comes to the rhythm, nevertheless for his first feature film Kim Chang-hoon proves that he is an extremely talented director and that we should be attentive to his upcoming projects.
Very nice movie.
8/10.
I´m a gamer and never played Halo more than 5 minutes. I dont care if it doesnt follow the source material or if he took his helmet off. This is an incredibly awesome action sci-fi show! Just enjoy it!
Pretty slow burn. Not too boring, but didn't really make me eager to see the next one.
With every episode being an hour, they could add a little more story to hook you.
House of Ninjas - :heart:x7
This is a really good show. It has heart, humor, and some good ninja action - which we could have used a bit more of. The Last episode of the season did have more ninja action - so that was a nice surprise.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
I was expecting more. This is a bit boring
Well, I think this is better than the second one.
This is a lot of death driven by revenge. The last few episodes of the series really sped things up, but I think most of the deaths were pointless. Sangeng acted recklessly quite a few times instead of trusting his friends or even Song Chen more. Because of this, he often got into trouble or caused unexpected consequences.
I have to say that I kind of understood why these people died because they covered up a very serious murder that shouldn't have happened. There were even those who were part of it.
All in all, it's a good exciting-detective mini series, I didn't regret watching it. But it's not perfect, especially sometimes the scenes weren't cut in the best way. The strength of the series is that it has a good kind of investigation and a lot of twists. In fact, the identity of the killer is not revealed until the last scenes, you think you already know everything, and they reveal an unexpected information.
A very well directed movie - Jung Woo-Sung was amazing and if you don't know your Korean history going into this, it's pretty insane. While they did dramatize some parts for cinematic effect, the fact that this Coup even happened is insane. All the detail that goes into prevention and a possible counterattack, the messy military rankings and personal relationships within the military, the unpredictability of war were all so human.
If Director Hong Sung-soo created this movie to remind the public of who the real heroes were, I think it does the job incredibly.
I think anyone who watches this movie should read up on the history.
Oh MY! another great episode! I am still uncertain about this relationship Roc got Ole boy! Then, how did they find out where Roc lived at? Hell, she just moved there?! The streets forever talking no matter what.
For the 1st episode it is really good.
Not sure I like this ending, it wasn't necessary for Junmo to shoot Gicheul in the chest, like the hell?
Well done on every level but really nothing original.
The decors and the (short) destruction scenes are great. The characters and drama are good though totally predictable.
As for the general story, it's really exactly what you expect from a post apocalyptic survival movie. There is really nothing new, people behave exactly how you would expect, there is not a single original idea there. This is pure cliche of the genre.
I loved every second of it, only one reason why I didn't give it a 10, if only John Kramer said Game Over at the end of the film this would have been a 10/10 !
Fuck around and they going to kill something.....
Every day when the years are quiet, there are people who carry the burden for us, and thank these heroes.
It's a fighting shonen. Nothing less, but absolutely nothing more. I regret watching it (season 1).
The show just has a super shallow plot/execution. This 100% obvious narrative is more suitable for young teens, but the violence is so graphic sometimes that the show doesn't seem to be entirely for young teens. I kept waiting for themes to evolve, as is often the case with good shows, and they just don't. The ultimate evil is defeated by hitting it harder than they hit it for 15 episodes before.
Extremely overhyped show. Didn't like it personally. Felt really forced, lacked a strong plot and felt too dramatic and cringe at times. 6/10
musical episodes are the worst type of episode and you cannot change my mind
Unbelievably unsatisfying as a season finale and as a season on it's own. How can you screw up so bad when you have:
A great story, a tremendous lead actor and a decent cast of actors overall. Putting Geralt out of commission for far too much time and focussing on Ciri and Yennefer was a massive mistake.
There are only two right decisions. Cancel the show or change the showrunner. They straight up murdered something that had so much potential.
Destroyed by the arrogance and wokeness of Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Replacing the brilliant writing in the source material with immature sloppy nonsense. Disrespecting all the people who love the franchise and made it great.
Really liked the brotherhood between the main characters.
Just annoying that they canceled the main female lead because of a DUI, just felt weird that she was gone all of the sudden
The bad guys were really despicable though and you will be very mad at them from time to time while watching xD
An epic tale brought back to life. When it comes to anticipation towards a finally, no other movie that I have seen, with same themes, has come close to something as in depth like what this movie just developed. A true dramatic infusion of complexity thrilling storytelling that concluded all of what it accomplished, by being if I might add, a masterful work of all that it set out to interpret.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this one after the first one was such a schlockbuster. Much more thoughtful, much more character-driven. Could have been a bit shorter, the pacing bogs down around the lunar crisis in particular, that whole act would really have benefited from tighter editing. And it's sometimes hard to follow due to a combination of the subs translation not being perfect and some scenes moving too quickly to allow you time to figure out what said opaque subs actually mean. But once you get your head past the scientific absurdity of the premise, which is a dumb basis on which to criticise a film anyway, it's very enjoyable.
