Letting naive boys get all worked up and do a job it needs cold blood for has been the downfall of so many. Please don’t do it. Just please don’t.
Whatever happened to leaving behind the past with Tommy? Didn't think the bride would be Grace.
I really like the dynamic and differences between the two characters. One is focusing on having the best time of their life while the other is so preoccupied on surviving their life (very similar to working a job and not doing fun stuff). I really love the themes here and the characters so far are awesome.
8/10
I take back my comment on the last episode, the MC is now a man that deserves to walk among the Toman leaders and gang members cause he beat the guy that he hated the most.
This show is VERY entertaining. I am endlessly fascinated with anime’s ability to make a story out of anything. It makes for a more compelling contrast to typical Western fare, which rules out stories simply because they want to appeal to a mean audience.
Anime for me is like an anathema to this... The strangest and most outlandish stories are made into gripping drama, laughs, tears, emotional growth... and it could be a show about ANYTHING.
At any rate, this has been an entertaining six episodes. The writing is good to keep me very much keen to see what happens next. These little punk boys are one of the best stories I’ve seen this year.
I want to see Takemichi’s rage crumble in the next episode, and still manage to keep his immediate goal from falling apart. I also like how every episode manages to advance to overall plot just a little bit more. I’m also amazed how much damn story they manage to fit into 20 odd minutes.
On with the story!
I'm kind of surprised that there are so many negative reviews for this. Maybe not many people wanted a "what if Superman was actually horrible?" film in the form of a horror flick. I was pleasantly entertained and the biggest criticism I have is that the ending feels wide open for further storytelling that I wished I could dig into. I suppose The Boys helped fill that void, along with comics such as Irredeemable, but this feels like there could be some real good storylines to dig into in a sequel.
This is the Gay RomCom I’ve always wanted. Just like all the other Romcoms, except the main characters are gay and not over the top stereotypes either.

While a good film in itself; call me old fashioned but the book and the series is better.
It may be that if you come to this without having read each book when it came out you won't feel like anything is missing. But for me it just didn't quite mesh, for anyone loving that it's an all female expedition - that's just how it is in the book it's not written in to appease or enrage anyone.
From this version with the characters having names, to the myriad other forms it diverges from the books. It just feels too much has been lost.
I won't ruin anything if you do read the books. Which I would totally recommend and have been doing so for years.
This move plays more on the love/wonder/drama aspect of things--not so much thriller/horror/sci-fi. There are only 3 (maybe 4) short scenes with any sci-fi and/or horror.
Of course people will immediately think of other sci-fi titles for comparison and reference, but what I enjoyed about Annilation is that it is basically Alice in Wonderland, except where Alice is a biologist, and Wonderland is an area of genetic corruption. I was intrigued, and entertained, and I enjoyed the visuals, which were curious and beautiful, but not over-done. One flaw is that out of four characters we only really get to know one.
I'm sorry, but this was boring to watch.
Visuals are nice, but CGI was a bit over the top.
Story moves slow and I can't say that either horror or thriller labels would fit this film.
Maybe it's meant for an artistic intellectual audience.
For me it disappointed and won't recommend to watch this..
For real how this anime is so great like this!!
literally everything about it makes me crazy bc it's totally perfect!
although it was sad episode but u can see how much the drawing was perfect, and the storyline and how he became bad guy bc he just couldn't forget what happened
really omg..
This was so good!!
First of all I have to start by saying I’m a librarian, so recently a lot of people have been requesting the book “One of Us is Lying” - when I saw it’s release on Netflix I had to see what that hype was all about.
I really, really liked it. The secrets aren’t that “bad”, but to a teen they can destroy their reputation, so that’s the focus throughout the season. The acting could be better BUT to be honest, it was pretty convincing and made me stick to it until the very end. I had a few suspicions at the beginning and in the end I was surprised how everything turned out.
Looking foward the second season!!
Yet anther in the long line of "Jump Scare: The Movie" films.
They had some quality suspense building moments, but most of them were squandered on cheap scares instead of doing something more memorable. It's sad, considering the quality of most of the performances. There were more than a few cringe inducing one-liners, though, mostly from the "Rafael Olvera" character.
TL;DR - Save your money and see it when it hits your preferred streaming service.
It's not the best Indiana Jones movie out (that's the third one in my opinion) but it's easily on par with the first two movies and much better than the Crystal Skull. It's just a bit too long - shortening or skipping one of the car chases would have been good.
The end was nice, but I hoped they let him stay and enjoy the past.
For every queer person around the world, I just wish you can cross path in your life with people like Yonghee, Jiah and Taesung's mother
Very very funny as always, with an impressive animation :))
We could have had a tournament but instead we got baseball
Good lord. That looked painful. I love Itadori. Hmm, I love all the characters so far.
Incredibly hard to watch, at least if you have a past in any way similar to hers.
I didn’t even need to reach the end of this episode to be fully committed to her destroying them all.
This episode just broke me...
"Children don't grow up alone."
It's the biggest responsability to teach children what's right and what's wrong and love is the biggest part.
The plot takes a while to develop into the full sci-fy/horror/thriller that this movie most deffenitly IS! The build up is needed very much, so we can get into John's mind. It was also a hit at the festivals, which usually is a good indicator. A very enjoyable movie to day the least!
i didn't expect this to actually be a monster movie
Pretty good episode. The beginning and the end gave me a strong impression
Not surprisingly, as its graphic violence is perpetrated by (and eventually directed against) children, Who Can Kill a Child? was very controversial at the time of its release and even banned in several countries. While undeniably chilling, however, the film’s violence is neither gratuitous nor exploitative. It is in the service of a deeply serious meditation on the failure of the old in their moral responsibility to the young—a failure made clear by the movie’s prolog, which catalogues twentieth-century atrocities (the Holocaust and the Vietnam War among them) that, although engineered by adults, had a devastating impact on children. The film implies that the massacre of the old at the hands of the young should be viewed as an act not of senseless murder but of self-preservation.
Spanish mystery thriller about a couple taking in a traumatized little girl with strange behaviors. Starts as a slowburn drama and ends with a wild third act. It started strong and the mystery was intriguing but it got so slow towards the middle that I lost interest. I liked the idea of the chalk lines and the child actor did great.
