Light and breezy rom-com with delightful cast. Worth a viewing even for non-golf fans.
most realistic military movie ever, everyone who served will recognise the experience
It would be easier if this was added to Season 24, the same for the Post-Covid original, even if they're Paramount+ exclusives.
It would be easier if it was Season 24 Episode 3 and 4
My favorite movie of all time
Really wish there was a "Fabulous" Trakt rating.
Since the departure of Emily Rossum (even a few seasons before) the writing and plot lines have lost their humor. This show was really good in the first few seasons, but over time the writing became more “woke” gospel and less jokes and punchlines. This show ceased being a comedy and light hearted entertainment. It became a series of Politically Correct vignettes. Bad production.
The editors and writers know nothing about Chicago and they stopped filming altogether there. People who live in Chicago saw all the inaccuracies. Insulting to the third biggest city in the US.
"That's not fair. Up until now I've been reverent as shit."
I liked it back then and I still do today.
Not sure why everybody is so excited about this movie. The detective part was much weaker than in the first movie, and the rest is just a typical Netflix annoying propaganda.
The detective is gay now, of course. The main villain is a white male, of course. The most brutal guy (Batista) is a sissy mama's boy, of course. And the smartest, bravest, strong and independent hero is a black woman, of course. So tired of this Netflix crap.
Just before you making her a hero in your eyes remember that just for the sake of vengeance she burned the original Mona Lisa painting without any doubt, which one of the most precious art heritage of our civilization.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this film, I still laugh every single time. Stupid spoof films are my jam.
They pulled a Star Wars on Tolkien and took the most expensive dump on a well established universe and lore for the sake of equality and virtue signaling. Congratulations, Amazon. You've just closed off Tolkien estate from allowing future iterations of one of the most beautiful and rich universes ever created.
evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and destroy what is good
For some reason, I remembered most of the second season of Seinfeld also struggled the first time around. Here, I could not believe how engaged I was with this second season premiere. They finally get the character of George Costanza, IMO the show's single best character, absolutely right and even Kramer is captured quite nicely. Love that his entire thing this episode is about cantaloupe and his obsession for fruit. Also love that we are introduced in passing to Kramer's fruit guy, Joe, who will make an appearance in the season five premiere.
The stories really worked for me in that they felt like Seinfeld narratives. Love Elaine's story about a relationship with a guy she met through a friend slowly deteriorating and the "nothingness" about it. I thought this was very solid and I look forward to seeing whether my disposition towards the second season will change this time around.
Tight script, good pacing, so much fun.
When he gets his rage on James Masters is hilarious. :)
Nice to see Clark Duke playing a role that gets the girls.
Seth Green's Amish had me in tears.
"Rumspringa!!!"
For someone who has dug graves before he sure doesn't know how to use a spade...
Otherwise a fine Episode.
Great cast and great writing so far.
Are you jokeing about the new 007? Right?
If this had been released in 2020 as originally planned, it might have challenged the pandemic for the worst thing of the year. At its best it’s a throughly bland story of a guy being miserable and tortured. (Bit like the dreadful title track) No bond magic, all the usually wow set pieces seem like a retreat of previous films .
So what do I really hate, the fact they gave bond a daughter ? No that’s just about what I’d expect from this rubbish.
Do I hate they killed bond ? Yes but only because there was no real reason, the island they bombed had no immediate threat. bond is meant to stand for queen and country, surely the action they took would lead to a less safe world and potentially a wider conflict. It’s basically suicide because he couldn’t see his girlfriend and daughter anymore, not exactly to character is it. Well done Danny Boyle for walking away from this.
I dread the direction the franchise will go after this, I can only imagine
It's boring, full of plot holes, the woke stuff is idiotic like the writer of this movie, forgettable villain and mary sues, the best thing is craig's bond is dead, unfortunately they kill the whole franchise with him.
What garbage did I just sit though. BORING. Probably the worst bond movie I've seen. They sure tell their plan right out in plain sight though.
What a waste of Rami Malek and Christop Waltz….
Story made no sense…
This is not a James Bond movie TBH should have had a different name
I give it a 4 for the bar scene that was good… the rest better skip and go back to watch some of the classics…
Welp this movie was complete dog shit! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst movie I've ever seen. Barely any relation to the books. None of the characters are interesting, they've all been completely modified from how they are in the book for no reason and their motivations are pretty much non-existent. It's all rushed and makes no sense whatsoever.
so now i know the reason why this one skipped the theaters
Really bad movie with a super rushed narrative. I haven’t read the books so i can’t say anything about it’s fidelity. Half the time it fails by not giving you the information needed, so you don’t understand why things are the way there are. The other half is someone explaining what’s happening so fast he/she doesn’t have time to breathe, let alone allow the words to sink in, therefore it doesn’t create emotion. To me is a 3/10 and only because of the good special effects and originality of the story’s idea.
And to be clear, came to see without watching any trailers or synopsis, and without seen any reviews or critics. Sad, I’ve never seen Disney fail like this.
I can't believe I waited nearly 20 f*cking years for this to be the end result.
Disney absolutely BUTCHERED the books to the point where the characters aren't recognizable AT ALL.
The story makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever. Even if you didn't read the books and you know nothing about Artemis and his world, the movie has no discernible plot, no character growth, terrible acting all around, horrible script... I could go on but honestly I'd rather just reread the books and forget I ever watched this.
A disgrace is what this movie is.
More like Artemis Foul amirite?
They drained the wondrous world of Artemis Fowl of all its charm, wit, and heart. It fell flat on its face, and it never got back up.
When you watch a movie and wish that it went for another 2 hours - fantastic.
Sandra Bullock has to be the luckiest person on Earth. If you accept this fact then you can enjoy this movie.
