Olver long, joyless and confusing.
While not quite a dog turd cigar, this movie is best for Paul Naschy or Caroline Monroe lovers only!
Very well-made, visually interesting, Thriller with a WTF ending!
I really wanted to like this movie a lot but the character spent so much time glaring wordlessly at each other that it was difficult to pay attention. The action scenes weren't anything great either, although the claw hammer to the eye socket was novel!
Offbeat vampire story. Among Barbara Crampton's best performances.
This movie is terrifying! It is almost too scary. The bulk of the film is made up of nail-biting, extended scenes where the viewer waits for something horrible to happen. I will say, this film did not disappoint.
I was very impressed with this movie! It was refreshing to see Nashy acting in a different capacity.
I am not sure what I just watched but Radley Metzger's beautiful film making style made it an enjoyable, albeit confusing, experience.
If you are here because you are a fan of Takashi Miike, you have chosen well. All others take warning!
Dreary, repetitious. Definite case of the sophomore slumps.
I really wanted to like this movie more then I did. Sadly, the movie seems to be mostly people wandering around the dark castle.
Much better than I expected it to be!
Rambling, confusing story. Not one of Naschy's better efforts.
S*** show bad. There are almost zero fighting scenes. The worst part is the relationship between the two main characters is so clunky! As far as the amazing cast that is credited below, their appearance is pretty much amount to cameos. They're there, then they're gone.
Quirky, weird, absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever! I loved every minute.
I was really hoping this movie would be freaking awesome! It was still pretty good, bloody, gory, and even a little bit psychedelic. The action scenes were a little tepid though.
I was very excited to see this movie because I'm a big fan of The Endless and Resolution. But I have to say that this film was a let down.
The longest 72 minutes of my life.
I didn't think I was going to like this movie as much as I did. It worked much better as a night in the life of a serial killer then as the social media satire it aspired to be.
Sad, dreary.well made but sad.
A version of The Exorcist steeped in Jewish lore? A young man's search to recover from tragedy and the loss of faith? Surprisingly creepy and moving at the same time.
Not too bad until the action stops and people start acting.
There were some scary moments, but I'm going to have to say that it was kind of repetitive and a dull.
My first number 10 of the year. A searing and uncomfortable journey through toxic masculinity and a tour-de-force performance from Carey Mulligan
Fairly slow and Taki for the most part. I lost interest once the big reveal happened. Kim Da-mi was amazing.
Kind of a slow build-up but a thoroughly satisfying finale. I think we need to incorporate this into our new Thanksgiving traditions.

That ending was bat-shit crazy insane.
What a perfect way to start a list of top movies of the year: A found footage film that takes place in real time via-Zoom meeting. So much could have gone wrong, but the film is perfect in its execution and nail-biting intensity.
