My best hopes so far is a cute Liam x Hayden relationship, and that is off to such a bad start... everything else is tumblr fanfiction level.
I will miss Isaac, not only was Daniel Sharman hot, but the character was so misused. He was bad ass when he was on the side of the bad guys, then he literally lost every fight he was in, he was the least dangerous of all wolves. Such a waste. Aside from when he first showed up, with his dad and all, they never gave him any proper storylines, and the romance with Allison sucked. I really hoped they would eventually make up for that, but who could wait that long? Good for Sharman, finding better roles!
Who cares about Allison? Ugh, so annoying.
Ah, I am so happy to see Leighton Meester in a comedy!
This is listed as 43 minutes long, but the second half is actually the pilot episode of a new series?
I am totally into this.
This was the best show I have not understood ever.
I love Rachel Bilson, but I just cannot win with this show. I always end up paying attention to something else. I could not make it through 15 minutes of this episode. I am giving up.
Kelsey and Liza are friendship goals <3
The Countess is always described as big and flamboyant, I was expecting her to be a full staged show in the series, but instead she is rather classy and discreet. I am not quite fond of that dramatic parting at the station, it felt rather unlike Poirot.
I know there are enough comparisons between Take Two and Castle, but LOOK, IT'S RYAN!
Seamus Dever needs more TV roles, I enjoy watching him!
Diana is my spirit animal.
Poirot: And please, do not fraternize with that creature. I am still training him.
Hastings: It's only a parrot.
Poirot: I was talking to the parrot.
Watson and Hastings would really have so much to commiserate about with one another...
From now on, I identify as age-queer.
So far, I think of this show as cute, lighthearted and simple. I am enjoying it, except I am not sure about the chemistry between Bilson and Cibrian... it does not feel natural?
The "Pardon my French" button definitely needs to come up more often.
Ouch, that butterfly thing was so uncomfortable to watch! I was quite sorry to see Asia out, since I think she was the queen with the best message, but that was really a failure... and sort of in disagreement with said message. The attempt was a bad mistake.
Still, I was ok with the results. I would have never guessed Aquaria would be such a lipsync slayer!
Also, can we talk about Kameron's first outfit, the princess gown? She looked straight out of a modern fairy tale anime, like Densetsu Pretear, or a CLAMP artbook. I think it was the most beautiful thing anyone wore tonight. Meanwhile, I felt like Eureka could have tried a little harder... a pencil skirt for a possible crowning seems a bit underdressed. And still talking fashion choices, l think we should all congratulate The Vixen for the first time she chose something actually beautiful to wear.
The episodes are very long, and I am finding it hard to keep going through it. I do not understand why Clay decides that what Tyler did deserves revenge when he let the others be - did he just assume the natural bullying posture of targeting the weakest member, the one that is easier to fight? By hearing Hannah's tapes, did he not understand what that sort of humiliation can do to people? It is very frustrating to have an emotion-driven protagonist with no real moral compass.
Asia is a wonderful queen with a huge kind heart, but running after Vixen is not anybody's job. I thought that was terrible. It was annoying during the season, and it is still annoying now that it is over.
I am sorry to see that Blair talked so little, I like her so much!
AND NOBODY PICKED KAMERON
I am glad about how things ended with Josh's wedding. That was the only weak storyline last season. I am looking forward to seeing Josh in a more thrilling path!
I love how they used Charlize's character from Monster to describe Rita pre-surgery, hahaha.
This episode had so many things I had never thought about!
All the makeovers were great, but I did think Aquaria did not try as hard as she could have with Kingsley's outfit.
She should have lipsynced, both Kameron and Monet did better than her in this challenge.
"Saved by the Bell?"
"The hit show that launched no one's career."
I laughed, but that was a bit mean, haha.
Thank the stars for that double shantay. Specially because that Breastworld script was so entirely horrid that Meryl Streep herself could not have saved it, so I would not blame anyone for bombing, except the writer.
The problem with a double shantay is that a double sashay must come too...
This went exactly as it should have.
-Kameron started off slow, but she had been growing on me. I am surprised to see her winning so soon, but I knew it was coming. Since Blair, she definitely became my favorite.
-I loved Aquaria's make up. It was so good, I do not even remember what she was wearing, I just stared at her glitter eye illusion.
-Can we get an "amen" for this elimination? FINALLY. Her drama and attitude since last week got me eyerolling every time she mentioned it. She does not sound angry due to unfairness, she sounds whiny out of envy. And that is not a good color on anyone.
This episode may have been the cutest thing I have seen on TV, and it completely sustains my opinion that the addition of Mayim Bialik to the main cast was the best decision TBBT producers ever made.
Mark Hamill was super funny, and it was great to see him on TV, but I laughed the most at Kripke singing at the end, John Ross Bowie is just so hilarious! He had about 20 seconds of screen time, and still he managed to be unforgettable!
The writing on this show is usually great, but this episode was particularly excellent. And without the questionable style choices from the previous episode, it delivered real quality! I love how they are going beyond the limitations of the "sitcom" label. Blackish is a true jewel in the ABC repertoire, and wow, does it shine!
What a mess of an episode. I loved Eureka, Aquaria and specially Monét on the Snatch Game. Aquaria's runway was beautiful, and I felt really sorry for her eyes, that were visibly irritated after.
But uhm. The characters that were bad, were seriously bad. The time for the critiques was very uncomfortable to watch, with The Vixxen and Eureka arguing like children. And to put the cherry on top, one of the contestants did not know the lyrics during the lipsync. It was a lot for just one episode.
And oh, do I miss my sweet Blair :(
Oh, I loved that flashback scene between Ruby and young Andre.
I was a little unsure of the stylistic choices of the episode, the lights and colors, were too obvious for my taste and I think it actually kind of ruined the very sensitive topic (the Coldplay song did not help either, but that is just personal taste). Still, the overall result was not bad. The dialogue was a great approach on the subject of marital crisis and very well written, and Ross and Anderson delivered the lines and the emotions just right to make it real. Really a pity that the visual of the scene and soundtrack did not keep up with them.
