VIP10Not watching this anymore. The reason for disqualifying the Netherlands is lame while he was illegally filmed but nothing is done against that!

@mogwaylaven And for making a hand gesture? I can't imagine being such a snowflake to get the police involved for that..
Holy fuck that was so bad, don't get me wrong Ncuti Gatwa is a great actor but he's terrible Doctor Who, didn't feel the magic that previous actors had. Ruby is so irritating and can't bare her on screen. I completely lost hope that this series is gonna be good again. Maybe I will come back to Doctor Who when they change the actor again, if this series will last this long

@dbmen chill out, you're overreacting

VIP10Can I kill Sylvie so we can get Loki back? I mean like her but not as much as Loki!
loading replies
@mogwaylaven Agreed. I ended up liking Sylvie as a character more than I initially thought. But if I had to choose...
4 episodes wasn't enough haha. I loved it especially the extra scene. Can't wait for the next Witcher season

@mogwaylaven I'd certainly welcome a few more such short series to fill in some more of the backstory for those of us who haven't had the time to scour the lore in the books. I found it quite entertaining.
Boring, dry and slow. I loved Saul in Breaking Bad but clearly he is not the same in this show. I will tune out and binge next season. Sorry AMC, not your best work.
loading replies
@chinoxl3 It's not the Saul we all know well, it's not a case that his name is Jimmy McGill. The whole series is gonna tell us how and why Saul Goodman is born. It's not time yet for him to be Saul Goodman as we know him, but we're getting there. If you started watching this show without knowing these thngs, that's not AMC or anybody's fault. This show is far too good, but unfortunately not all people can see that :)
how tf was i supposed to know that the leader was his brother if we hadn't even seen his face besides the small photo

@nordavind I knew it the moment he mentioned that his brother disappeared but wasn't found nor dead. And the only reason for someone (the villain) to wear a mask is for a big reveal. Just gotta add 1 and 1..
- I love how the Marvel logo starts to look more cartoonish at the end
- Omg, Chadwick Boseman
- Korath is so happy to be beaten by Star-Lord, lol
- Omg, the Watcher is actually participating in the story
- OMG, Thanos turned good
- They be dunking on Thanos, omg
"I've been trying to get them into counselling." — T'Challa
- I know the Yondu voice actor is trying his best, but nobody beats Michael Rooker
- That was easy. Good job T'Challa
- It's Cosmo the Spacedog!
- Howard the Duck?
- Korath is so fun
- Wait, did the Collector kill Korg?
- They saved Cosmo the Spacedog!
Wakandan guard: "My friend, that sounds an awful lot like genocide."
Thanos: "No, no, no. Because it's random."
[Clicks his fingers]
- Oh, they put a dedication for Chadwick Boseman!
What an episode! I'm loving this one more than Captain Peggy's since it's not trying to hit the same beats as "The First Avenger," and they can really do some whacky things here! It's a pleasure to hear Chadwick Boseman's voice again, and the set-up for this T'Challa is very interesting! When T'Challa was just a child, he wanted to see the world. But because of Wakanda's secrecy, his father forbids it. But after Yondu found him, he was free to roam the universe.
Thanos' character here was charming and hilarious, and the cameos by Howard the Duck and Cosmo the Spacedog were great, too. This episode is so different from the first, and I hope it continues this trend! Sticking to the beats of a better story (in my opinion) isn't ideal when we could have this original blend of an adventure!
7/10

Based on the IMDb, Yondu va is Michael Rooker.
Does anyone else dislike that they incorporated coronavirus into the show? It takes me out.

@The_Argentinian it wasn’t an issue for me for two reasons: first, they can shoot scenes and stay safe without introducing awkward or inexplicable moment/acting. It’s also a good way to show people wearing masks and applying security measures on screen. And finally, I love the that they talked about George Floyd and the protests and all. It would have been bad if they introduced one and not the other real life 2020 reality check. Yes, it was uneasy but it follows This is Us heart so far.

VIP10Not as good as the 1st season but a nice ending, really hope we'll get a season 3 to explain how Danny got the iron fist back and how he has it in both hands, or is it just the guns...Also like the idea that the fists are a different color for everyone.

@mogwaylaven Yes you are right, sorry
Although the speech at the end was strong the rest of the episode was weak. We've come to know a better Madam Secretary than this..Also didn't feel the need to put the old secretaries on camera, it felt like more politics and phony...but im not american so perhaps im wrong
loading replies
@mogwaylaven I also think that scene with the former Secretaries felt forced and I also felt it went against something that was fundamental to the show where it didn't really acknowledge any recent Presidencies, at least not that I can recall. I felt that move allowed the show to remain entertainment with a nugget to chew on but without force feeding a position to the viewer.

@mogwaylaven I am American and you're correct. One of the things I've loved about Madam Secretary is that it was about Washington DC but managed to be political without grandstanding. I get enough of "real politics" on the news, in social media, in everyday life. I watch to escape from all that. I don't want to be assaulted with more views, whether I agree with them or not. I appreciated this show's ability to avoid sinking to that. I hope this was a mere aberration and not a sign of things to come.
i am Dutch and i got no clue what they were talking about with opening the car door, they've never taught me that

@mogwaylaven lol I was wondering about that myself. I'm not Dutch, just found that curious way to prevent hitting a cyclist.. Seems like mirrors work good for that too.
im not ready!!! ugh next episode will be the hardest to watch and no tissue box will save me.. already holding back the tears...

@mogwaylaven seems like we got 2 weeks to get ready, next week is a cruel break =/
really loved this show, thought that Madeline would be the one who got killed.

@mogwaylaven yes, Perry was Ziggy's dad
