Catherine Zeta-Jones is amazing and still looks good. I don’t know why anyone complained about the casting of her and Gomez. They’re both great actors and they play the characters well.
This show is easily going in my fav shows list, it has been so entertaining so far, plus Wednesday at the dance looked incredible w her beautiful dress, her iconic moves were the icing on the cake!
The scene where Wednesday abruptly shifts the tone of the music by carrying on playing the cello on her own while chaos erupts around her is incredibly satisfying.
Gwendoline Christie has never looked this pretty on screen, and I love how tall she is, compared to everyone else.
Jenna Ortega deserves all the awards, but I'm so glad that this show has Tim Burton's aesthetics all over it, and he's captaining this goth ship as strong as ever (so Jenna can share a few awards with him, too).
It has its moments...
I liked the characters...
But that ending...
It's entertaining...
Similar to Squid Game, yet different. It's a strong social satire. There are quite a few illogical decisions, but none of the players are geniuses, so it's forgivable that they didn't do this or that, which may occur to the viewer because, as a viewer, you're not on the brink of despair... In the end, it's entertaining and much better than any current Hollywood production.
We all are in a 8 Show
Netflix finally had a decent k-series ; this ain't as great as squid game but its thrilling and totally bingeable.
I'm glad IU choose to drop out of the show because Woo-hee has aced her roles as would hate her , envy her and laugh at her ...
The Floors 1-3 had my sympathies ; I hated 4th & 6th .. 5th & 7th are neutral .... 8th being the top of the chain understands the game better than everyone else " Need to something fun .."
Was it a happy ending or a sad ending?
It was an ending and it's already ....
It has its moments...
I liked the characters...
But that ending...
It's entertaining...
I would have done cho that sh*t from the beginning....
The torture and conspiracy LMAO....
I would have thought of more things to do though.....
bruh that's a show that u can never get bored of it! totally amazing
I love the premise of this show. The political satire towards right wing nationalism and authoritarianism is on point. Homelander as an analog for Donald Drumpf is hilarious. Almost as hilarious as some people finally realizing they’ve been the butt of the joke this whole time. It’s a must watch show.
This is one of THE BEST TV productions ever to grace the small screen. Top tier stuff. Every scene is important and every episode is better than the last. The dark humor, the gory scenery and the incredible picture quality are just toppings on an excellent character drama, while the world building is totally immersive. You will not be able to see other superhero productions and not think how "fake" they are, after this.
Top points:
- Best villain I've seen in a long long time
- It avoids cliches with ease
- Helluva production
- Incredible characters and spot-on dialogue
- The concept itself is a great idea creating huge potential
- Casting is awesome
Minor cons:
- Has great potential for action sequences but never takes off
- Some of the secondary characters although extremely likeable could be explored much more
This is by far the most fresh TV series I've watched in a long time. I really hope the second season comes quick and can live up to this.
"When I look at you, the following emojis come to mind: rope, shovel, hole."
What an icon.
I recently had a nostalgic experience that I wanted to share. I rewatched 'Scooby-Doo 2002', a movie that holds a special place in my childhood.
Although I hadn't seen it for a while and couldn't remember every detail, watching it again brought back a surge of memories. As a kid, I owned a copy of this movie, but somehow, over the years, I seem to have misplaced it.
Despite not having the original DVD anymore, it was truly wonderful to take a trip down memory lane and relive those moments. The only regret is, I have no idea what happened to my DVD of this cherished film.
mentally i'm at spooky island getting my soul stolen
I bought the pack of dvd which contains 3 of the movies in the scooby doo series, this was my childhood, I used to watch it all the time. Definetely a solid 9/10.
I don't care if it isn't a real one shot, THAT scene was absolutely insane.
Ok, maybe it was my low expectations or this was really awesome and entretaning.
Loved it so far, watching the rest of the episodes. The cast is great, loved the Sweet Tooth character and can't wait to see more of hi(only at EP.3 while writing this).
I think this is one of those you hate it or love it. But if you're into comedy with some gore action give this a chance.
I'm watching this show for the second time, and I forgot how hard Arthur has it throughout the seasons.
"For those of us who feel each blow more completely, shall never truly be at peace."
this ep took a very surprising turn, whoa!
I loved, loved, loved the final scene between the brothers. Arthur can be such a fuckup but he's so sympathetic. You can't help but feel bad for him and I'm glad his attempt failed. And Tommy smiling always feels very out of character. LMAO it's so jarring.
Amazing episode! I liked it very much! Great acting!
another amazing episode! i loved it so much. Grace is clearly falling for him but doesn't know if that's the right thing or not! u can see it at the end.
I enjoyed that "holyshit" from Polly.
Grace: Happy or sad?
Tommy: Sad.
Grace: Okay, but I warn you, It'll break your heart.
Tommy: Already broken.
I enjoyed it. They did a great job at making it feel like the games. Looking forward to more seasons.
Fucking great! Faithful, witty and violent
