Thumbs up if you said "What the fuck..." to your TV before the opening credits.
Funniest episode this season so far lol
"Our friends in 2016? They need our help."
Oh, man. I'm so freaking excited for this crossover. We just have to wait one more week!
I can't believe that I almost stopped watching this show halfway through season 1. I absolutely adore it now. Season 2 has been amazing so far.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: it wouldn't be an episode of Legends of Tomorrow without a bar fight. Sara fucking shit up with a whip was fantastic. I rewinded that moment like 12 times when I was watching the episode.
"This isn't my first rodeo." - Sara Lance at her second rodeo
I love her so freaking much. She could punch me in the face and I'd probably thank her.
Nate's suit is so dope!
The first Wild West episode was great (definitely one of the highlights of an otherwise uneven and messy season) and I had high hopes for this one. It didn't disappoint. It was hilarious, it was action-packed, it was just incredibly fun. I enjoyed every minute of it.
Can we just skip Luke and Dannys respective second seasons and just do Heroes for Hire?
And that first teamup fight was just fucking fantatstic. Nuff said.
Of course that fucker Bakuto is alive. I hate him so much. He's an awfully weak villain and the actor who plays him definitely didn't go in the right direction with his performance. It's like he was aiming for the Charismatic Bad Guy, only he's yet to show any actual charisma. I want to roll my eyes whenever this guy is on screen.
So we got all the people that the Defenders care about in one room and they didn't interact with each other? That's bullshit.
I don't like how the others ganged up on Matt because of Elektra. Tone down that holier-than-thou attitude. You all have your secrets. And it's not like any of you would've acted differently if you were in his situation.
The overhead shot of Elektra curling up on Matt's bed surrounded by gray with her red costume spilling out from underneath her coat looked like some kind of a baroque painting. I would totally frame it and hang it on a wall in my living room. It was exquisite.
Absolutely great episode, action, confrontation, background politics and the ongoing "runtime error", all at just the right composition.
A nicer ending than the books. The book ending left me with more questions than answers. This ending is more satisfying. Yet still too faithful to the books ending. While it’s a more happy ending there’s still questions in the end that were never answered.
Spoiler warning: For instance. Season 1 teased us season long that the Quagmire parents were the Baudelaire parents. Yet, now that we know they aren’t. The writers wrote them out basically and they are never reunited with their children.
I guess since it’s a coming of age story. About children learning to not need the help from grown-ups and growing up. So just like the books. The Baudelaires and Quagmires aren’t reunited with parents that are teased to be alive.
Not entirely sure if Lena is going full villain, but if so, they are already doing a much better job than David Benioff and DB Weiss.
human body can literally withstand so much shit.
as seen in this episode, it's terrific, horrific and shocking to see them willingly accept a fucking radioactive duty which can fuck their life up pretty good but the KFuckingGB won't take international help. what a fucked up world. we need better international relationship across the globe to survive in such catastrophic events.
Humanity must strive for a better world from every small aspect to survive as a species
fucking make the whole world pop a tab of LSD and melt into oneness
Finally after almost 20 years a real competition in town, I stopped watching WWF after they replaced the F with the E, and started watching NWA, TNA(or what ever the fuck they call it these days), ROH, NJPW,And some of the independent stuff, and many of the faces in AEW are familiar faces, I hope they get Jay Briscoe and Dalton Castle to AEW, The first show was really good not perfect because i felt there's some stuff missing, And i never heard JR saying holy shit on I commentary before lol and i been listening to JR's voice for more than 20 years, I am just happy that "Pro Wrestling" is back
Sam "We don't need to talk, I throw my name in the bucket of "the best episodes of the year" without writing dialogues" Esmail
Great first episode. This feels much more like a Star Wars movie than the current trilogy.
Holden: Guys! Guys!!!
Fred Johnson: What did you do?
Holden: There was a button. I pushed it.
Fred: Jesus Christ. That's really how you go through life, isn't it.
Absolutely brilliant end to a great series
So far so good - pretty fun show. Coach Lasso is such a positive character, the show put me in a good mood pretty easily. Love Jason Sudeikis of course
Edit after finishing the first season: Fantastic show all around, I looked forward to it every week. Coach Lasso dealing with his struggles as he brings together the team makes for an interesting and entertaining story
Really good. They're just kicking ass this last season. Just when the show has really found it's footing again, it's over.
Honestly this might be my favourite episode so far, although I have pretty much been feeling that way for every new episode. What could have been a fairly clichéd and generic "alt universe/role reversal" story was elevated by the beautifully emotional conclusion to an ongoing plot thread. I was expecting to laugh going in, but I certainly did not think I would end the episode in tears.
I miss this type of episodes in Star Trek, I'm glad to see it brought back. Not only that, this was a good way to end the arc of the doctor and his daughter, neatly tied to the book too.
I hope this is not the end of the his daughter's story and they'll revisit her in the next seasons. There are questions to be answered and possibilities to explore regarding the nebula. Was it something like the Prophets in DS9? Time is irrelevant? But they're stuck in one place?
Who knows. But I for one would like to know more about it.
Thank you. I love this episode.
Great episode. I might need to do an Aliens marathon.
Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
What a great way to end the season. From the moment we saw that maroon movie-era uniform I had a feeling that we were in for something special. This weaved itself in with an alternate take on a classic TOS episode with great skill, as well as throwing in some fun stuff.
I particularly loved the way that they altered the lighting here to match the TOS style, with actor's eyes/faces smoothly lit up in highlights.
Was it a little too on the nose in it's tribute at points? Maybe. But I'm okay with it, and it had enough of a twist on things to make it work. Introducing Kirk this way was a deft, sneaky move and I liked it. And a cliff hanger ending! SNW, you have my attention and my heart.
I don’t get the Cara Delevingne hate. More tolerable than Amy Schumer.
F...., never been so angry for an episode ending before now..... (Read the book)
Okay, this show has been Fight Clubbing for a while now. Disillusioned protagonist tries to take down global financial industry through his schizophrenic alter-ego? But the end scene, where they just start playing The Pixie's Where Is My Mind? There's homage, and there's just straight up copying. This show is great, but it is seeming more like a gritty, modern reboot of Fight Club rather that its own thing.
The best new Star Wars film in three decades and one of the most satisfying films of the year.
I really hate this anti-Putin and anti-Russian propaganda that is going on on american tv. There is no "mass corruption" in Russia as they say, and all those "anti-Putin bloggers" are just pets of american government who are spreading lies about "corruption" in Russian government and if any danger will get close to them (by the way, Putin did not pursuit ANY "opposite" blogger at all), they will flee to america to their masters. I bet that creators were forced to put this story about bloggers and Russian spies, because it seems to be totally out context.
It felt so frustrated at the end of this episode. All I want is more. Why is it that the shows I love most have the shortest season? 23 episode of The Flash but GOT is like gone in the blink of an eye.
"The Batcave is literal perfection."
"It will be...when it becomes a kitchen."
