They'll just build a new one... and make the White Walkers pay for it.
I've kept watching in anticipation for comic plot-lines, but this latest death ruins all hopes I have that this show will live up to what it once was. Fuck Scott Gimple. Fuck AMC. I'm out.
Watching Jimmy bring ruin to an elderly woman's social life for his own gain was flat out disgusting.
It was the first time I've ever felt genuinely disgusted with him. All the other lies and schemes - even his bar scams as shitty as they were - didn't feel as repulsive to watch as seeing him manipulate those women like that.
Pride, anger and desperation have stripped him of his moral limits. If he ever had any they're gone now. He's not Jimmy anymore, he's Saul Goodman.
They spent years in a strange country pretending to fit in, in order to do what was best for their home country. Now they’re “home”, but like Philip says it feels strange. And then Elizabeth tells him, in their native language that they’d been forbidden to use, that they’ll get used to it, just like they did all those years ago in America. No shoot outs. No chase scenes. No deaths. Just a man and a woman realizing they just lost everything they loved.
This show has some of the worst plot development I have ever witnessed. One second they are getting ready to pack up, the next second a couple zombies pour out, oh no, wait no big deal they have guns. But wait! theres more! 500 zombies then appear out of thin air, almost like they all have slippers on and weren't making a single sound, I wonder which zombie was leading the takeover as it was clearly coordinated. It is like whoever is writing this has forgotten EVERYTHING that made the original walking dead great. Realistic character development, toying with the concept of murder and survival. This show throws that all out the window in favor of "crazy intense fight scenes" and "nothing but action".
I really hope this show wraps up soon so I dont have to sit through more seasons of this garbage
Let's recap, DJ Qualls got his head ripped off, Nikki may or may not have met God in a bowling alley, Ray was reincarnated as a cat, Yuri is missing an ear and probably dead, Sy drank some "bad" tea, Gloria's son got socks for Christmas, Varga took a dump, and Emmit is going full Legion.
That was everything I could've ever wanted from an episode of Fargo. Insane tension and violence. Random surrealism. Black humor. A surprising emotional core peeking through. Beautiful cinematography. A hell of an ending.
I think I'm gonna watch it again.
so either that's not his uncle or i'm calling the police
Tremendous episode, one of series' best. But it has me a bit terrified of what is in store for the final stretch of the season. The three Jennings seem to be in their own downward spirals (Elizabeth's is increasingly horrifying, Philip's hard-to-watch, Paige's forboding) and growing apart while they're at it.
"The price is on the can, though."
A conversation between two people who understand their roles (i.e., customer and cashier), but don't understand the world they live in... now that's a statement!
This show's saying things most are scared of saying but need to hear... let's have conversations about the difficult stuff guys. But most importantly let's laugh about it.
Oh--and the premise for this episode? Creative, a little heavy-handed at times, but ultimately really fun to watch.
That episode was LIT. Literally...

I got acquainted with Michael Mando, for the first time, while playing the video game "Far Cry 3", and since then I been following his career. His scenes in this episode (and throughout the show) keep showing us how talented of an actor he is. I'm hopeful it's this year he finally gets recognized because he's way too underrated.
that ending was a masterpiece. a true work of art
THE LAST SCENE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IVE EVER SEEN. I LOVE MAC SO FUCKING MUCH
I am absolutely fascinated by Serena's story arc this season. Yvonne Strahovski is a phenomenal actress. Serena's longing when she was in the car looking out the window, all the little moments when you could see something change in her eyes... She did it beautifully. To be honest I have a hard time remembering that Serena is supposed to be the villain of this story, one of the people most responsible for June's misery. Especially after last week's episode. I'm torn. On the one hand, she is in a pretty awful situation herself, on the other, she helped make it happen. She knew what she was signing up for (maybe not the wife-beating part, but the rest of it). She held a woman down every month while her husband raped her. She's been straight-up cruel to June on multiple occasions. And yet I can't hate her.
Great episode overall. The letters getting out and Waterford's plan failing was very satisfying to watch.
After 6 seasons of meticulous setups and character developments, the series finale of The Americans ends, appropriately enough, on a quiet note.
The episode has very minimal dialog. Each word is carefully consumed. The rest is driven by imageries, powerful performances from 4 leads (Philip, Elizabeth, Stan, and Paige), and effective selection of music from Dire Straits, U2, Tchaikovsky, and the series composer Nathan Barr.
Three amazing scenes.
The garage: The exchange between Stan, Philip, Elizabeth, and Paige is more suspenseful than all the heists, chases, and kills in the entire series, driven solely by performances.
The train: Totally unexpected and perhaps the most dramatic and heartbreaking scene in the entire series.
The car ride home: The border crossing, Elizabeth finally sleeping in peace lovingly leaning against Philip. They lived in a sea of lies. But their marriage was as real as any. The only thing they can trust as 100% authentic. Absolutely beautiful.
These three scenes are expertly interconnected with fantastic ensemble and writings.
The series finale will stick in my mind for years to come.
This show had more character development AND plot in its eight short episodes than lesser shows have in a 22 times 60 minutes season.
We've heard so much of June's thoughts for the last season and a half, to hear only a handful words from her this episode was disturbing.
Without the inner monologue it feels so empty, that was a brilliant creative choice to distinguish between June and Offred.
We've been sent good weather today.
Having David Tennant back as Kilgrave was a blast! Showed what this season is lacking, a true villain.
This new season has been a lot more dark and less humorous than the older seasons, but Wally's speech in this episode was just golden.
My favorite part? David Duchovny as a woman. ♡
What the fork? My favourite 25(ish) minute show of last season is back on? And it kickstarts things with a double episode? Holy shirtballs! I'm glad the double episode showed that everything is still spot on, from the humour to the acting. The Crocs reference, the "I'm going to the gym" guy, Tahani wearing cargo pants... This season is already showering us with tiny hilarious details!
A couple of things bothered me, though. The third reboot rendered the season one finale pointless, there will be no note to act as a clue for Eleanor, anymore. And we now know everyone else is evil and plotting against the main characters, so it kind of diminishes the enjoyment a little, at least for me. But, anyway, I'm really curious to see how will Eleanor and the gang figure things out in the third reboot.
I'm so glad to have this show around, again!
Mind blown. Everyone needs to watch this. I definitely want a season 2 after that ending.
Only took them 58 episodes to make a decent one.
"I wish you were dead"
"So do I"
That fucking hit me hard in the feels...
This show was way better than it had any right to be. It was supposed to be just a funny crime show wth dick jokes. But it's just so much more. It has great acting, smart writing, intersting characters and explores some very interesting ideas. Satire done right.
i give to you, a collection:
Fucking hell, it smells of pig round here, don't it? Definitely not kosher.
"Come to Small Heath, you will go to hell for fucking breathing."
Ishmael, please, will you hit the call to prayer?
honks car
Ah, no, they're Sicilians, aren't they, they don't trust nobody who ain't fucked a goat on the morning of their first pubic hair. They've got traditions.
Tommy, when a pikey walks in with hair like that, you've got to ask yourself, "Have I made a mistake?"
He is of mixed religion, therefore he is godless. He was adopted by Satan himself, before he was returned out of fear of his awkwardness, he is impossible to marry off, due to his lethal dimensions.
you're welcome
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT THE WHOLE SEASON
whoa MICHAEL WHAT WAS THAT???!?!
