I feel like all the R&M superfans will refuse to ever try therapy thanks to this episode - and sadly a lot of them could probably use it.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK NOT ONLY GOD BUT ALSO JESUS FOR THIS FUCKING AMAZING EPISODE
TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT
Did I just saw Rick and Jerry f*ck? hahahahaha
Definitely the deepest episode of the show. As deep as many of the Rick and Mortys are, this one has so much to think about that it is the Jupiter of all other episodes, in terms of depth. "You DO know me." You must watch this episode multiple times.
All that stuff you comment about the depth and the psychology of this episode is nice and all, but please don't forget:
"Have you ever been peed on? Oh my God...Yum!"
h-O-L-Y S-H-I-T. They did it again. This show is on another fucking level, man.
This fucking episode, man might be the best ever. I'm literally speechless.
So layered, so many call backs to real life politics. Rick/Morty analogues for racerelations. Equal Pay, Globalisation of companies. That whole wafer storyline. Fuck. I need to watch this again. No wonder they gave us two weeks to wait for this. So fucking worth it.
Best episode eveeeer!!! (until the next one) Wubbalubbadubdub!
Instant best episode of the series, imo.
This show just does not stop! The creativity is abundant and overflowing with pure awesomeness! Gah!
beth please become more and more like rick we love you both
Harmon on EW.com: "I don’t want to poison the well but the finale is a great episode that we finale-ified when we realized we weren’t going to be able to make 14".
I guess that explains why this felt a bit rushed. Solid episode nonetheless.
oh man this episode was intense
It was a happy ending for everyone except for the MVP of the season: Steve :c
Didn't think they could top the first one, but I was SO WRONG. Bravo! Truly enjoyable through and through (not you, episode 7).
I really hope the Steve and Dustin bromance isn't dropped next season and we get to see more of it. I absolutely love them. And is it just me or the random extras look like they were literally pulled out from the 80s? The custom and props department did a great job.
Steve's the best! I love him, he's my favorite. And his mentorship/bromance with Dustin is cute beyond words! They're hilarious togehter
WILL WILL STOP SUFFERING IN THIS DAMNED SERIES ?????
I CAN'T!
TWO QUESTIONS: 1- Is Will gay? 2- Was Steve wearing mascara and lipstick?
I don’t like how sassy-aggressive Erica is. Eleven is powerful, she surely can fight!!!
First "serious" episode this season. I like that they took time to develop the different plots and gave some characters more time to interact (like El and Mac), and now they are going for the serious business.
That Russian guy that they kidnapped is really cool :D
Erica is comedy gold! Steve and Dustin, yes yes yes, add Robin to the mix YES. And Alexei, o my god can we keep him! One episode of him and he already melted my heart.
I love how this season is extremely dark and extremely light at the same time.
Jim and Joyce's old married couple banter is killing me. LMAO. He's acting like a child though. It's not a good look on him.
Billy is really growing on me. I want him to get out of this alive and ok. ):
i stan for Billy, a truly complex fucked up character
I hope he does not die PLEASEEEE
Just when I already loved Billy :( I was so sad the entire time. Dacre blew my socks off. I love his eyes forever.
So.. I REALLY THINK HOPPER IS ALIVE. Still I will feel that it would be a cheap twist if he's alive and the rest of the people with radiation suits and shit were melted like butter and he didn't.
