What an incredibly depressing and unsatisfying story. What’s the point of bothering to go back to Jupiter? So you can give birth to some child destined to live and die alone with no hope to escape? Is this some artsy take on the futility of life?
How have I not seen this movie?
How are people not talking about this movie?
Why have I never heard of this movie?
What a fun ride and a great capstone to the 80s!
What a fun flick. That courtroom scene was really well-written, too. I love classic Jackie Chan.
Movie would be better called, "Where's the dog?"
Wish someone had told me I was signing up for a shallow romance movie, rather than a gripping survival story.
This flick never gets old!
I strongly dislike musicals. I strongly like this musical.
I'm thoroughly creeped out. Cool movie concept.
Oh wow did I thoroughly enjoy that. Brings me back to my childhood!
The whole time, I kept thinking to myself why does the director want me to cheer for what was already a billion dollar company back then like they’re the altruistic underdogs?
Do you know anyone who’s had a dream with a dwarf in it?
NOOO!
I have always had an extremely hard time coping with old men crying. It cuts me to the core. That final scene, with Antony confused, bewildered. An old man is crying and begging for his mommy. It traumatized me. I don’t even know what else to say.
Not great, not bad. Pretty okay. Just your generic Indian rags-to-wealth movie, I suppose. Some of the few deviations from the generic Hindi movies were (1) the main guy doesn't end up with a girl in the end (2) no musical numbers (3) murder scene and (4) Priyanka's highly westernized character. Given Priyanka's move away from Bollywood towards Hollywood 5 years ago, her role made sense to me.
I can't fully explain why I liked this movie, but I did. Interesting characters, and I like how they portrayed a friendship between two people that are otherwise opposites.
Loved the sequence where they floated down the river being chased by the orcs!
The first 10-30 min were phenomenal. The rest sort of fell flat for me. Still enjoyed it.
I kinda feel bad for Billy Mitchell. He's the guy who peaked in high school and never let it go. Steve Wiebe, however, is in a class of his own. How can you not like Steve?
What a great and entertaining documentary! Interesting characters, quirky personalities, and inspired achievements.
What a blast to watch!
