The part of the Star Wars universe we care less about gets it's own show of course. If only Disney could understand that superhero movies and shows are terrible without the superheroes. Would you watch a Superman movie that focuses on Jimmy Olsen?

@adonael Having the ability to use the force is the equivalent of a superpower in this universe thus making the Jedi and Sith superheroes and super villains. It's easy to be swayed into thinking something is good because of success as the Marvel movies have shown. Is this show nearly as good as The Clone Wars or even Rebels?

@priest24 Star wars has nothing to do with 'superheroes'. And Rogue One plus numerous other stories in various mediums prove you hilariously wrong.

@priest24 Do you still feel this way after watching The Mandalorian? The main thing going for Star Wars is a universe richer and deeper than any other movie/TV series I can think of. The universe is fantastic. As we've seen, though, the stories can't just rely on that backdrop, they need to be interesting in their own right.
You can set just about any story, with any characters, of any genre in this universe, just as you can for stories set in the real world, it just has to be a good story.
