I enjoy the other NCIS , FBI, CSI, etc., type shows. And I know spinoffs usually need a little time to find their own groove. But this one is just unbelievably bad. Casting, writing, acting, chemistry, it all sucks. It has all the earmarks of a porn-parody, but without the porn.
8/10... Comédia brilhante, humor inteligente, provocativo, gags tremendos, dinamismo sempre presente, bitches show... e daria para continuar.
Terrance J Acting was SO Horrible.. But the movie is still enjoyable to watch
SO happy to see Paulie & Cara falling apart in the final.
Not right famous for killing cops.
I loved this. I went in expecting nothing and was pleasantly surprised.
I'm an action flick junkie, so take that under consideration.
While not without its charms, The Rain is filled with moments where you'll be wondering "why did they do that", "couldn't they have just...", "they dont seem to be very upset about that person dying", why are they so upset about this person dying" or just "why?!"
Season 1
Too much off this show fails to make sense or is just plain convenient, even from the very start, when dad is speeding along the motorway and turns to speak to his painfully annoying son - the daughter and mum were somehow failing to get him to put his seat belt on. This error of judgement sees dad have a near miss with a truck, the truck in turn tries to swerve but topples onto it's side neatly blocking the road. Dad decides that the family will go on foot and by the magic of editing they seem to make very good time which makes it seem like it was probably better than driving anyway.
Throughout the show people who have been living in the zone for years and are very aware of the dangers, dont seem to have developed any good strategies for preserving their safety - beyond very basic plans such as getting to cover before it rains, the rain that never seems to catch them by surprise as rain often does in real life. apparently these people have all become experts at reading weather patterns and can move around with confidence that not even a drop of the deadly rain will land on them. Perhaps this shared expertise in meteorology is so advanced and obvious that they don't even need to acknowledge it.
Nobody has every heard of checking someone's vital signs, as they all posses that special film expertise of being able to confidently asses someone's vitals just by looking at them for a moment.... Don't pass out or you might be assumed dead and left behind.
Most of the characters spend a good portion of the series being quite annoying, Beatrice being the only one whose character seems more interesting, or at the very least more consistentantly likable and as such the only character I felt any genuine concern for. I actually think some of the reviews are too harsh on the acting, while it's sometimes patchy I think the poor script is to blame.
Season 2
I was considering whether it was worthwhile putting myself through another seasons of this show and read the other reviews here. The general feeling seemed to be that season 2 was a big improvement so I decided to give it a bit more time. Season 2 was in fact much better even if not without moments of season 1's silliness - one of my favourites was when someone thinks they have been locked in a room. It's been well established that it has keypad entry but they try and open the door with the handle and freak out thinking their suspicions are confirmed. Of course the door wouldn't have opened with the code anyway so when they do eventually punch the code in they find that it has been jamed shut.
Lea and Jean thoroughly irritate me through both seasons and I find their dysfunction is much harder to watch than other characters... Why are the plants dying, I'm So depressed... then, wow you fixed the plants... then I want to destroy all the plants... blah blah blah.
While better than season 1, 2 does devolve into a bit of a weepy soap opera at times. Most of the rain in season 2 seems to be from all the blubbering.
If they make a season 3 I'll probably keep watching as it felt like it was just becoming good at the very end.
They are passing the poor kid around like a football.
I have no idea how many times I've watched this movie. At least fifteen times. Watched it again tonight, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Simply, one of the best movies I've seen in my life. Love showing it to everybody I care about.
By the way, the number of people with short attention spans that turned this off after 15 minutes is something I don't understand. Why sit down to watch a movie if you're not going to give it time to say what it has to say?
That flashmob was awesome. I really thought Lief and Tobin were going to be a thing but nope.
This was a really sad episode. I know that next week's episode is going to bring tears to my eyes.
So...swinger party is not ok but open marriage apparently is the solution. This show is funny as hell. Same 40 years old tits are showing over and over though so it is quite boring. There should be some younger women at least!!!
Loved this episode, probably the series' best so far.
How could he turn down that deal!? And after Andre made it more clear how Spence lost his money he doesn't seem like such a bad guy anymore. I definitely think Spencer's pride is getting the best of him right now.
This was probably one of the best episodes of the series, at least in my humble option. I wasn’t to keen about the way they transitioned out to California, but with this episode it really opened the door to go anywhere. There was a lot of character growth in many characters and I can’t wait to see where it goes in the season final and even next season.
Ridiculous! This is becoming like the show Law & Order SVU. Maggie can do everything. NBC do something new.
Powerful episode, i cried like a baby in the end. Very well shot and kudos to the actors on this one. Maggie - OA dynamic was spectacular to watch.
This show really helped kick off a much larger interest in anime for myself than I had before. The biggest detractor is when it evidently splits from the manga (the series was unfinished at the time) and leads to an abrupt and somewhat unsatisfying ending, but overall remains one of my favorites. The characters are a lot of fun, and the setting itself with how the world works is quite unique. A lot of the visual settings are interesting with some excellent animation and fight scenes. I also enjoyed the themes involved and explored (friendship, forgiveness, acceptance, willpower, etc.). I highly recommend it!
This show is really good. Defiantly worth a watch.
Love that the stories are led by the experiences of astronauts, including the first African American woman, Mae Jemison. Love that its directed by Darren Aronofsky, as his signature editing style makes the imagery that much more compelling. But I hate that it's narrated (on blinding white screen background!) by Will Smith. Honestly. Whhhhhyyyyy??
This show has a good premise. However, it got a bit too boring by the middle of the season. The plot is "sweet" however there isn't much depth to it. It is entertaining but due to the slow moving plot it just got boring.
The animation in this episode is SICK!!
Yay, the blondes survived yet again! I just hope that they can quickly get towards the front of the pack and leave the boyfriends at the back to be eliminated! Hee hee. Lol
Wtf is even going on anymore :joy:
I’m 7 episodes in at the time of writing this and since episode 3 I’ve only had one thing on my mind to say to the writers of this show.... I want whatever you’re smoking.
I feel like this show was made for the CW with how much drama is in it. I like some of the characters and the special effects are great, but there isn't enough magic or action.
Season 1 was amazing with great song choices & story. Season 2 is weak. They should’ve left this show as a 1 season show.
This should have been episode one
This is the best episode so far!!! I love this show!!!
How do they 1up themselves every episode.
Did Peter just say “uncle Ben” ? That’s not happened before right?!
Vision could have pulled the stone out of his own head the whole time, kinda makes half of infinity war a little pointless.
Paul Rudd was great, Hudson Thames was great, and that definitely could have gone the other way as Tom Holland is hard to replace, we also got Chadwick Boseman again which will always be nice.
Great episode but not surprising as it was the zombies episode which is the one I was most excited for.
