This already had 5 seasons when I started.
Definitely was not expecting two of the main characters to die.

Excited for a new competition show!
Of the few I knew of before, I'm rooting for Bananas.
BUT
I respect gameplay, strategy & manipulation so I'll be rooting for the best to win in the end.
Had to ruin the show with the gay guys but the show is watchable if you fast forward through their segments.
Had a winning format... and they ruined it.
Hell of a season break
This was one of the best dating competition shows... until they decided to destroy it.
This season they're attempting to recover the old magic, but whoever selected the females should be fired.
There are only 3 attractive girls out of 11... maybe 4 depending on type.
On the other seasons the majority of girls were attractive... just 2 or 3 unattractive girls tops.
With a majority of average guys with 2 to 4 universally attractive "fuck boy" types to cause havoc.
Possibly the cast is sub par because they aren't on MTV anymore IDK
When the new hostess is the hottest chick on the island...

The only good thing about this show is the unique elimination format.

Watched premier night.
Only 3 girls in the house & the only dude I like is Daniel because he's funny & he stirs the pot on every show he's on.
Unfortunately 3 girls and Daniel can't carry a show so I'm out.
Hopefully next season will have a better cast.

The only issue I had with the season, was the fact that every male super was an asshole/dick-bag and every female super was a poor innocent victim.
The male supers did everything wrong/immoral and the female supers just had bad things happen to them.
Skipping this season.

I feel like the focus was on the wrong thing & the end was a horrible solution to a problem that's easy to fix.
2nd wasn't "techie" enough to be a Black Mirror episode and it would have been far more interesting if the focus was shifted to the social media spying that went on during the hostage situation.
3rd was the best IMHO... NOT saying it was a great Black Mirror episode, it was mediocre on the Black Mirror standard but the robot was adorable and how they gave the robot Ashley's personality is in line with what I would expect from a Black Mirror episode. As a bonus the Jack actress looked so much like a young Lindsay Lohan it freaked me out. The whole episode I was thinking is that Hannah Montana? Is that the chick from Mean Girls? How does Hannah Montana look so old while Mean Girls looks so young?!?
All these little girls do is lie & cheat their way through everything but somehow it always turns out fine.
This season would have been better without the gay couples.
The gay guys have the drama part of the show down but they are taking potential matches off the table.
What makes the show good is drama + exes getting with other peoples exes making more drama.
Now you just get 2-5 gay guys wasting space & without enough men the women become friends and the show is boring.

No where close to being as good as the UK version.
Everything seems like a lesser version of the UK... the announcer, the hostess, the couples, everything is just better on the UK version.

Count Olaf is great but Carmelita steals every scene she's in.
Hope is a few steps away from Mary Sue status which will probably ruin the show & definitely make me hate her.
I already hate MG. Such a beta soy boy. He's the only character I can't stand.
Josie is my favorite followed by Penelope but I don't want them together romantically. I like Penelope as Josie's bad influence.
Lizzie is OK but she's a very poor Caroline rip-off. Caroline was my all time favorite on Vamp Diaries and Lizzie isn't doing her any justice.

A little too 'love conquers all' for my taste & we still know nothing about the Demons.
And since the sun apparently means nothing to the Vampires, I would appreciate an explanation of their limitations.
Aside from those complaints I'm looking forward to season 2.
