Great.
One of the best Marvel / DC shows ever. It's sort of a Super hero/Psychological thriller/Horror mash up.
I would rate this season a 10 but they nearly ruined the vibe of the show when someone made the artistic choice of turning half of episode 7 into a silent film.
I loved the show and the ending had me LMAO!
The only issue I had with the season, was the fact that every male super was an asshole/dick-bag and every female super was a poor innocent victim.
The male supers did everything wrong/immoral and the female supers just had bad things happen to them.
The final season…
After starting out with such promise and the Flash actually doing some speedy stuff, this season took a typically CW-esque dive the moment we established who the Red Death was. Since the defeat of the Red Death, we now just have filler Iris episodes and the Flash is, once again, fucking awful.
The monster is AIDS! No, really...
Seriously, this was so stupid. It's so annoying when people categorize something like this as horror. "tHe tRUe hOrRoR iS rEaL LiFe" :face_vomiting:
Everyone is saying this season is crap. I’m my opinion is really good, it’s very simple, but I think it started very well and ended well, not having any bad moment among all the season
Is this the right order? The DVD has it all different:
1 - Serenity
2 - The Train Job
3 - Bushwhacked
4 - Shindig
5 - Safe
6 - Our Mrs. Reynolds
7 - Jaynestown
8 - Out Of Gas
9 - Ariel
10 - War Stories
11 - Trash
12 - The Message
13 - Heart Of Gold
14 - Objects In Space
A fabulous adaptation. The casting is mostly perfect. Some of the acting can be bad but definitely not from the kids. Neil Patrick Harris is brilliant as well. He's more restrained than Carrey as Olaf but while being perfectly evil.
Hopefully there's a season 2. I can't wait for more already. I suppose there will be 3 seasons. Since 2 episodes covers one book each and there's 8 episodes each season. While there's about 13 books all together.
Unbelievably good production design caused this to look more like a film than a TV show. This program created its own world, and it's stunning. While it got a little weird at times and felt a bit repetitive and predictable, there was enough here to make this stand out as something special. The humour was perfect and I really enjoyed the little fourth-wall-breaking moments. Great actors all around, and some good twists. I also appreciated that the font used for Sunny's subtitles reminded me of playing Monkey Island.
those events sure were unfortunate
I honestly can't get over how good this show was. Started out on a whim Saturday night and binge watched the entire series in two sittings. I was hooked from the get go. From the synth-y soundtrack, to the Stephen King meets Goonies storyline, everything about this show is truly gripping and enjoyable to watch. If not a huge success, Stranger Things is surely a modern day cult classic.
As an 80s baby, this series feeds into so many loves of mine, it's perfectly perfect.
E.T. and Super 8 meets a Stephen King story equels one of the best new shows to binge watch on Netflix.
