Music is the plot.
Ugh.
Sigh.
The story was okay, but you hardly see the beatles, and of what little you see isn't that good until the end bit. And that's it. That's pretty much the only good or important bit about going to the past. That and some rubbish dialogue about music in various eras.
The Doctor and Ruby are saved because the companion is SUPER SPECIAL WITH SUPER SPECIAL POWERS BECAUSE OF HER BIRTH.
Ugh.
Jinkx Monsoon was good as the main villain. Maybe a little overacted, but they were a good villain, entertaining while also believable in their dark moments and moments of madness. It was a pretty good character too, and we got a bit more interesting lore.
Why is the episode so damn awkward? The music battle was awkward, both in concept and execution, and with the actors not really playing the instruments. The deeper moments and dialogue between The Doctor and Ruby felt awkward. But Millie has better acting this episode, and Ncuti is still good. Plus, there's a better balance of the serious and campy this episode, though there's still room for improvement. I liked how stylish everyone was this episode.
Why did the doctor win a music battle against the literal personification of music? Stupid.
And then afterward, the doctor only came one note away from banishing them? But then failed on the last note even after doing the other ones?
Ugh.
And of course, The Doctor and Ruby are saved, again, this time by the beatles. And in this timeline the beatles went their whole life not producing music, just sounds. Then they're able to make such powerful music randomly that they beat the Maetro.
Ugh.
Sigh.
Don't even think about trying to make this make sense in the timeline. It doesn't make any sense at all that now "music" has been reintroduced to the world at this moment in history.
Stupid.
It was a decent episode, better than the first one for sure.
Then, even though every episode is short of time, they do something at the end here which is an amazing use of time.
Sorry, i mean a huge waste of time.
THEY LITERALLY DO A MUSICAL AT THE END INSTEAD OF ANYTHING STORY OR CHARACTER ORIENTED.
Stupid, stupid, stupid, childish.
The music was so annoying, and the Maestro wasn't an interesting villain :/
thwack thwack thwack thwack thwack
Can’t wait to rewatch this all over again, and again, and again.
I told myself years ago that I would have no expectations, that I’m just happy we’re getting a live action Fallout. Although there are some things I wish were different, I am definitely a satisfied fan. Season 2 when?
Paul was robbed.
He played a perfect manipulation/puppet master game through dictatorship & brain washing.
He set up the perfect final 2 dragging his toy monkey to the end. Remember those toy monkeys that you wind up and the little monkey bangs the cymbals? That's Josh.
Don't get me wrong . I NEVER liked Paul.
His 1st season I saw him as a weasel & a poser, but in his 2nd season he was a weasel poser that played a great game.
After Mark went home I just didn't care who won anymore. Sure Paul deserved to win but I don't like him and I was sick of him so I didn't care if he got screwed.
I just hope that this result doesn't effect future seasons making manipulative game players afraid to back-stab and lie.
TV Barry is 1,000 times better than movie Barry
Great.
One of the best Marvel / DC shows ever. It's sort of a Super hero/Psychological thriller/Horror mash up.
I would rate this season a 10 but they nearly ruined the vibe of the show when someone made the artistic choice of turning half of episode 7 into a silent film.
14 minutes of slow good byes & boring set ups. It felt more like a series finale than a season finale and I'm going to accept it as such.
Season 3 was awful. Full of predictable plots and yawn inducing story lines. Oh and you gotta love the tired cliche of main characters dying just so someone can go back in time to right all the wrong moves.
This show is dead & I'm done.
Love Klaus but love "Daddy Klaus" the most
So attracted to Cheryl Blossom right now. She has that sexy Red Riding Hood thing flowing.
1st episode was decent.
Hopefully they lay off all the feminist / SJW garbage and focus more on story & character building.
Sadly it's difficult to find new shows that aren't ruined with the "woke" bullshit.
I'm going to give the show another chance but I fear it will continue with the agenda and die an early death.
Just watched this for the 1st time... canceled too soon
Loved it.
Always good to see a movie that isn't easy predict.
"Don't worry, they come back"
Had me laughing the rest of the night.
Carmelita steals every scene she's in.
Carmelita is gold.
I love Drusilla. 10 pounds of nuts stuffed into a 2 pound bag.
I knew he wasn't dead, the only show with the balls to take out a main character is Game of Thrones.
First I thought he got away or was still alive but critical or his superpower was immunity to vamp/werewolf bites.
Then, when I saw him dead, I was fully expecting him to rise again as a vampire because MG was "teaching him a lesson" or he been "exchanging fluids" with Hope.
But as soon as I saw the smoke I knew it was a Phoenix.
So bad it hurts.
The TV series was a 10 this movie is a 2
So happy Angel told Buffy off.
100% on Angel's team.
I'll take three please... thanks
Buffy was dead for 147 days... so WTF is the new Slayer?
The Buffy drinking reaction is priceless
I HATE musicals.
When I'm watching a series that does a musical episode I normally FFWD the singing & dancing parts.
This is the only enjoyable musical episode I've ever seen.
This episode is friggin hilarious... The "prove who loves him more" part had me crying laughing
Annoying that there was only 1 new Slayer (Kendra/Faith)
Although Buffy has died 3 times so far so there should be 4 active Slayers... Buffy + Faith + season 5 finale + season 6 when Warren shot her.
I liked it.
This show put a different spin on werewolf mythology, and I love when werewolves aren't portrayed as some disease that forces a human into becoming an uncontrollable killing machine every full moon.
I also appreciated the total lack of vampires. Every other time its vamps vs. wolves or witches vs. vamps.
Got cancelled too soon & I hated how often Mary "damp cheeks" Sibley teared up, but this is one of the best witch based series ever.
Seeing Marvin from Fresh off the Boat really threw me for a loop.
Let's just skip over the self control option.
Let's go directly to removing Sabrina's powers.
