Sure, most are still shallow, especially Baptiste, but overall a nice dynamic. The French girl, is all class, beautiful and wise beyond her years.

There are cameras so you're not meeting the authentic person, you're meeting them on their best behavior.
There is exactly one chance to redeem this season in my mind, and it's if Sam gets banished in the last episode. The Faithfuls absolutely do not deserve to win, but god do I not want that smug, smarmy jerk Sam to win either so I suppose I am rooting for Blake and Camile to screw him right at the end and take the money for themselves.

Imagine being a writer for a moment, one people love and praise, but being trapped in a box that the people who love your work create. Imagine in the beginning you thriving in that box, people loving you more and more, but eventually you've explored everything in the box. Now suddenly people drag you down, "why is he telling stories outside the box?" This is why season 6 took 4 years, because none of these episodes were bad, but because 3 of the 5 weren't inside the box all this hate gets written. Time to move on people, something is indeed better than nothing, and the more you complain about the theme, the closer you get to black mirror straight out ending and red mirror taking it's place, because all good writers eventually learn how to silence the haters and write with their heart, not with a gun to their head.

After starting out with such promise and the Flash actually doing some speedy stuff, this season took a typically CW-esque dive the moment we established who the Red Death was. Now I don't want to watch the final season.
A lot worse than the US season imo. So much crying and screaming and screaming about crying. Just so much more dramatic and over the top and frantic, and feels so much more mean-spirited as a result, with everyone taking things so deeply personally all the time. While having much lower production values and a significantly worse edit. And a god-awful, annoying host. Doesn't help that none of these people are at all likeable to me, except maybe Amos. Wish I had watched this first, without the excellent US season setting high expectations. Yes, I know I'm the odd one out for loving the US season and strongly disliking the UK one. No need to tell me. Excited to watch the Dutch original soon to see how both UK and US compare.

Can no one appreciate the dramatic telling of the AIDS crisis of the 80s? It was called the Gay Plague. An already hated and marginalised community were hit with a disease which plucked them off in droves, and for years it went unseen. The scenes with doctors is masks was UNDERPLAYED! In the real story, hospital staff were in hazmat suits. Where is the empathy?! Where is the basic f-/:;(g knowledge of recent history?!

What a ride! Hail the Black Queen!
Honour, allegiances, and common sense still become clear in the rising tide of war. The intentional overcome by the accidental rage which more than often starts most wars.
Excellent writing, direction, performances. Every aspect of this show drips high fantasy for adults and for those that don't need everything to be spelt out to them as an audience.
Now this sudden recall of the realisation of the long anticipation between the early seasons of GoT is overshadowing the brilliance of this finale. No matter, I'll just rewatch it!
Thanks cast and crew for this splendid Season 1. And restoring the hope there can still be in Quality entertainment coming to an expecting audience and that all is not lost. 10

The previous series of this show you didnt need a cable subscription to watch. Since both CBS & CTV are OTA (Over the air) in most places.
This series is only avail through the Cock in America & Crave in Canada.
I think putting it on a streaming only service is the wrong decision.

Was this show always this cringey or is this season just a lot more unbearable. Shaney or whatever his name is had me dying that guy is off the walls. Shake was very hard to watch, his comments trying to gauge their weight were ridiculous. Read the room. Those two just had really weird vibes.

@lunaferret yeah... going to be awesome when another show gets cancelled because they focus on nonsense instead of the point of the story. But keep rating it a 10, I'm sure your lack of integrity will keep this ship afloat.
Damn, this episode was very tense and suspenseful. I do think the show is starting to drag out a little, though, but perhaps not in a conventional way. I feel like it may be dragging out to a bigger reveal, slowly sucking you into the slow pacing of things to catch you off guard to a maximum extent when you're in a deep unexpecting state. That reveal could be that there is more than one entity, although there would probably be more to it than that, to make it worthwhile. I'm starting to buy into that theory myself. One of them appears in dreams, and can appear as anyone, but isn't the one that specifically shapeshifts into other people by a scratch. One of them shapeshifts into someone else by a scratch, someone that it scratched, and is the one who does the killing. One of them is El Coco himself, and he absorbs the grief that's caused by the latter one, the one who does the killing. And all three work together, for some reason. Or maybe they're all the same entity, more or less, somehow, they just have different functions, and each one of them has to do whatever their respective trait is, for the combined, one entity to survive. Of course, that's simply my speculation of things. I may have the general theory correct with the details mostly incorrect. As far as the happenings in the show so far go, I'm fairly certain there have been hints or suggestive occurrences that there is more than one entity. Someone more prone to detail and noticing things will have to chime in on that.

getting tired of all the "David is a saint" scenes. Like, we get it okay? I legitimately do like the character, and I like him with Marcy, but I want him to know what's going on with the Travelers and be helping the group. Instead they made it so he's oblivious, which is not as fun.
And they make it so he's besties with every single homeless person on the streets. Really?? When I give a homeless guy some coffee, I get all these looks from passersbys like they think I'm now homeless too, like standing there actually engaging with the scruffy smelly person is contagious. But that doesn't happen to Saint David. if only they'd explored more of what made him want to help the homeless out, or dug into what ignited his passion for this cause, I'd give them more leeway.
I mean, they got their point across 100x back in last season when he spent his lotto ticket money homeless friends/patients. Therefore they do not need to keep including a saintly act each episode. I'm going to start downing shots for each time he gives a homeless guy a present and there's a big to-do. And I thought David lost his job for dating Marcy, or did Marcy fix that, so is he still getting paychecks for anything? Whatever.
As for Grant and Kathryn... Yeah. He's pretty much fucked. Sorry, Grant.
So what made the Historian cry for his team last season? I hope we get to that soon.

Mila was bitten by Danika who's the type of vampire that keeps people alive to drink their blood and injects venom into them as well to keep them docile, and now she's a vampire. The same type of vampire Danika is. Yet Luther told Bobby that those types of vampires don't turn those they bite. So, Bobby's assumption and justification for killing them being that they could've turned sooner or later seemed to have been correct. And Luther's the doctor. That seemed like a massive assumption for him to assume. Unless the gene that causes those with it to transform has something to do with whether or not you're turned when you're bitten by the type of vampires that have normal fangs.
