@jacostamolina They so did, my blood boiled at that last scene
Review by Alexandra E
ARE YOU KIDDING US? Why do we spend so much time with the Disney princess rather than the Doctor. i seriously was not a big fan when they did this crap to Jodie Whitiker's Doctor but now it's getting damn annoying. We need to get to know the new DOCTOR, not the damn sidekick. The sidekick story is supposed to be the background from episode to episode, not the damn starring role.
Less than 60 secons of the Doctor the entire episode. This is utter shit. Katr Lethbridge Stewart shows up magically with zero explanation how Ruby even knew to get ahold of a secret agency she wouldn't know anything about yet. Just stupid as hell. and as if it couldn't get dumber? Kate and UNIT get brainwashed also even without direct contact. We never find out where the help the Doctor went to.
AND somehow when the Doctor reappears he magically knew something he didn't know from the beginning? Hokey as hell. No matter how much Disney has their own people commenting that was a good Doctor Who episode.
The episode is interesting but again NOT DOCTOR WHO. Just Disney princess takeover.
3 only because the story, in spite of the flaws was okay. Disney Goosebumps episode with the Tardis in frame a couple times.
0 for real Doctor Who fans.

@tgrbabydoll Huh? What makes Ruby any different to all the other companions we've spent countless episodes focusing on for over the past 20 years?
I'm really fed up with woke b*llshit. It spoils the show to me, it's disgusting.
loading replies
@cristoteror What "woke bullshit" exactly? You do realize what show you're watching, right?
9 of 10 episodes after 3 episodes i hoped for some action. But i gave up not expecting much from the last one either. All that talking is so boring

Lmao you watched 9 episodes of a show you don't understand and seem to hate. Go watch something else man.
You know, writers, there are ways to convey that someone is stressed or angry without having them drop a hundred F-bombs in their shouting fit. At least vary the swear words. It feels so forced out of some people's mouths *Tabitha especially), and it's really bad writing when a character's big emotional moment is 25% comprised of the same word. Makes the characters seem inarticulate.
Not a very compelling cliffhanger. I wish the show would just wrap up an arc at the end of the season instead of trying to make the beginning of the next season feel like it's "just" the next episode.
So, my verdict? If it gets renewed for a third season, I'll watch. If not, it won't take me long to forget this show even existed...

@sophiefilo16 only north Americans are complaining about "f-bombs", which is ridiculous btw. Fuck is almost business language :joy:
I’m starting to wonder why I’m watching a show that is designed for children.

@ausxor you mean star wars? yes of course it's for children. it's still good.
MODERATION EDIT: Respect other users.
This too early to have a filler episode. Waste of an hour. Watch the first 5 mins and last 5 mins. Rest has zero value to story progression.

@whos_ur_buddha This is one hell of a side story! My hour wasn't wasted, if this would have been a standalone film I'd watch it it's that good. Why does it always need the main characters to build the world they are picturing? This is storytelling at it's best.

@whos_ur_buddha This isn’t a video game. It’s about the journey.
just who tf had the brilliant idea of not releasing the entire season at once?
loading replies
@th0rin0 so, you're binge fan? Nothings wrong with that, I prefer weekly though. But why don't you just wait till all episodes aired and then binge it?
I really don't get it when people are complaining about weekly eps :)
Stormfront is all about female empowerment but also a sadistic racist? Damn. This show really isn't afraid of anything and I love it xD Can't wait for the moment she gets killed by Kimiko.

@alexnader I’m for a bare-hand-super-savage-revengeful Kimiko kill for her :smirk:
I feel bad hating on such a small detail, but as a native French speaker, when both of those guys were supposedly speaking french it was super hard to understand them.
"Frenchie" has a really thick foreign accent (I think the actor is actually Israeli) and the "random goon" has a really thick french-canadian accent. It was a real strain to make out anything they were saying, lol.

@alexnader I feel you, every show and film that has Russian makes me cringe so bad
sorry, not a fan so far, that was 5% action and 95% filler, i don't need to see Sam and Bucky's personal lives. the first episode should come out swinging and this did not do that. and what the hell was that at the end of the episode? looks like they grabbed some random guy off the street and stuck a Captain America costume on him, guy looks like a dweeb. not impressed, hope they do better and they only have 5 episodes left

@alexnader You know, maybe the show's not really for you if you don't care about important characters and can't remember who they are from the MANY movies they've already been in...
Our prayers have been listened to. Behold, brothers, this Show might have a future after all. Fuck you very much Clara, thank you for nothing.

She was adorable. I don't get the blind hate.
A decent enough episode and would have given it 7/10 but being it has Clara FINALLY killed off/leaving the show(hopefully there won't be a gimmick to bring her back one last time with the stasis machine or something other before the season ends) I have decided to give it an 8/10. Such an awful companion imho.

VIPFor the love if shit, people. Without the first 3 episodes we wouldn't have this episode. Without the first 3 episodes this one wouldn't be as impactful. It's storytelling and all part of a larger whole. Stop saying, "finally we're getting somewhere," or "this is what the show should have been from the start." Its a journey. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Holy shit.

@grilledcheesesamurai Thank you! I'm so tired of people who can't appreciate a good narrative.
Once again the most interesting part of this whole fucking show is the stuff that gets the least amount of time. I could not care less about the sitcom shtick and I wish they would stop ripping off other shows when it serves little purpose except to make this all ridiculous when it could've been so much better.
In the movie Far From Heaven, you get this practically picturesque town and home life of a housewife in Connecticut. It's gorgeous and full of colors and 50s/60s "retro", what have you. It looks so perfect and lovely yet hides all sorts of ugliness underneath the perfect veneer of "All American Dream". Imagine that kind of set up but with horror and mindfuckery and that could've been THIS FUCKING SHOW.
Each episode continues to disappoint.
Each episode shows me how this would have been better served in a binge-watch (if they ever fucking do anything with the reveal).
Each episode annoys me with a pointless, obnoxious laugh track.
And each episode has me not giving a single damn about this couple or buying into any of their "chemistry" or love. This relationship was developed completely offscreen, and now I'm just supposed to believe they are some shining example of True Love because Marvel clearly wants Young Avengers? Nope. Not happening. I demand better writing and pacing, thank you.Olsen and Bettany are very talented and capable actors in other projects but here, I can't buy anything between them.
The pacing is just painful and not at all suspenseful. There's tension and then there's annoying the shit out of your audience. This show is the latter. This show continues to be the epitome of "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined".

@starfleeter no one has patience these days lol. I mean all of the haters of this show have no patience.
Something is obviously going on. They just aren’t going to give all the answers in the first 3 episodes.
The dream sequence looked absolutely fantastic (I do wonder what it means tough - other worlds? future? crossovers with a other series?) and the monologue at the end from the monster was great work from the voice actor. Really trippy and amazing episode.
loading replies
@jshwlr Agreed, those two scenes were great. I really loved the animation of the dream - reminded me of Into the Spider Verse. The monologue at the end was great too.
Can't believe all of the negative comments. This was a beautifully shot, well thought out story. Everything in it had a purpose. And that final shot was the clincher. This was a story about the human spirit.

@jrzbraga advanced AI, robots, death of humanity, suffering, no happy-ending... dude, this is the most blackmirror episode among all black mirror episodes
Every single main character apart from Shelley died (or will die in Peter's case)? Honestly this entire season was atrocious with a very thin overarching plot, loss of any character development of most characters (apart from Shelley and Pryce who were the only two to grow at all) and the destruction of one of the main pros of the entire series - the relationship between Roman and Peter. I don't know who signed off on this but this season was a mess of nonsense, incest and meaningless death. 90% of the actions and conversations were completely unnecessary and this was a horrible way to wrap up the story. It's like the writers just gave up as soon as they knew it was the last season.
loading replies
I definitely agree. Destroying the relationship between Roman and Peter was a bad move.
This last season felt like a waste of time.
