Someone please explain why this movie is good. I absolutely hated it.
Sean Patrick Flanery deserves an Oscar for his performance. I can not say the same for the rest of the cast.
This was "The Screwtape Letters" meets "Silence of the Lambs" where the only scares to be had are for those of us who are already believers.
The best movie of 2023 so far. Referential and fan service for sure, but isn't that what you want from a Mario movie? I've been pumping this into my brain since I was 5 years old, played every single iteration of the franchise and this was an absolute love letter to the series and for the fans. Those who know, know. Those who don't need not apply.
Still the best, great performances, Kevin Costner's accent is garbage sure but man is this a good movie. Definitely one of my favorites.
