I have to get this off my chest somewhere: Lucas has to be one of the most insufferable characters to ever be on the show. The actor does him no favors with the fucking face he constantly has on and the way he delivers lines like he's dead inside. And when he does have emotional moments, I just feel like punching him in the face. I can't stand Lucas, for real. I care nothing about what's going on with him. Don't even get me started on Simone. They deserve each other, they're so annoying.
Basically a reverse of Big.
Not really bad, but also not really good.
"Who is she?" The continuity in this show is awful. I get that the episodes were broadcast way out of production order, but still. Ron's experiences at Camp Wannaweep are brought up like new information after the whole episode set there—two episodes ago. The very first episode of Kim Possible opened with "another" scheme of Drakken's, but in this one Kim doesn't know who Drakken and Shego are yet. There's a reason that generally, episodic shows intended to air out of order have an established setting that doesn't change. No new characters, etc. Because when you introduce a new villain after treating them as an old nemesis, it's bloody weird.
The reason why it's a new series is pretty simple. When this season fails they can start Doctor Who 2005 back up and pretend this season never happened.
The lead actor's acting was so painful to watch I had to leave the theater after 1 hour.
In my opinion, this is definitely in the top 10 best Fast movies.
i sure love when men need to be reminded that women are human beings by someone pointing out that they have a sister/mother/daughter, because you know, if you don't have a female relative how could you possibly care about a woman being sexually assaulted
Xander: Don't even try to deny it......
Xander, baby, she does not owe you any explanations!
Sigh maybe it's jut low blood sugar on my part. But
Cinematography sometimes good sometimes not so - little things like shooting through the curtain. Once we were outside it was like a breath of fresh air. Some really nice shots but everything went on for so long.
Editing - almost every scene could have been cut and you'd be fine. So little dialogue so no exposition or character building. But you'd sit there for an extra ten seconds.
Story - who was everyone. The main character is hardly on the screen most of the time. Although I don't want a blood bath she assassinates one person at the very start. There's an interesting character you never even know who it is.
I just had no idea who and why anything was actually happening.
I don't want to put anything about what happens in the film as no need to spoil it. Go see it through. Some people love it but story wise snore. Film must be a balance between visuals and the story to me this isn't.
Obtuse, stuffed with characters but sadly lacking in story, plot, dialogue and action. The main character had maybe five lines of dialogue in the whole movie, we never really understand anyone's motivations and often shots either feel overly long or badly composed (shot through curtains, so many curtains... or foliage), or both.
I enjoyed this series, lot's of mixed action. Overall, worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:
It had the potential to be much better than it was. The story made very little sense.
Another fine example of Netflix show that you do not want to see.
To begin with, he talks ALL the time.
A boring story that wants to be a dark and ambiguous psychological thriller but ends up being a disappointing development of themes and paraphilias such as hybristophilia, the sexual attraction to criminals, which in the end it never delves too much into. There is a good setting in a grayish and rainy Bilbao city, with a bluish hue that transmits a hostile environment for the possible reinsertion of a young man who has killed his parents. But the development is so absurd and implausible and some characters are so blank that the final plot twist isn't worth six drowsy episodes.
Really enjoyed it until that damn ending. Why turn it into that when it was entirely solid throughout? Making it a supernatural thriller suddenly in one final scene was an absolutely atrocious decision. Turn the movie off as soon as the priest enters the church and I'd give it two extra stars. All that demonic black eye crap was unnecessary and ruined it.
The way her fierce fight for survival against neglect, judgement, and loneliness was portrayed hit right in the feels beautifully
For a little while I was dreading a "lost" finale. But I'm happy the way they solved it. Nice to see old faces again. It was a good ending to a good show we've had worse finales (again the serie lost comes to mind)
ending was really good, i liked it more than the season in general
Perfect ending even though it's not the perfect show.
So that was the best episode of the season and good ending to the series. Though the journey was plagued with some BS fillers and drama. Overall a good ending.
I so don't care about Maggie
Finally the most annoying character of the show did quit. She was selfish, annoying and also badly acted. Sorry, not sorry.
Great episode, but it really bugs me that this is classed as a 'special'. This is a straight-up episode of Downton Abbey, only longer. Starting season 3 without watching this first would be entirely wrong, so much would be missed. Special episodes should be stand-alone and shouldn't impact the overall plot/direction of a show going forwards.
Again, fantastic episode, but by no means is this a 'special' episode.
This was not good. I wanted to like it for the cast. (obviously what they were going for)
The scene with Buck on a bike stopping a car is extremely bad writing.
Got to love the farscape reference
I know you really really want it too and for people to take up arms against the evil patriarchy, but by and large most people couldn't care they just want to be entertained. Need a woke warning on movies these days
SciFi-Movies often do not stand the test of time, nowadays e.g. the original Star Wars or Star Trek flicks as well as Alien look ridiculous at certain times. But this is nothing compared to Dune, because here weak acting (or at least very weak characters) are put into the mix and make this supposedly master piece really bad. Why Dune is (still) considered a must-see by certain fans is beyond me and I suspect that the hype about director David Lynch is the main reason for that.
What if The Roadrunner was a live-action movie and starred Schwarzenegger and Kirk Douglas.
Despite most of the humour falling flat it's a charming movie that's made even more charming with the presence of Ann-Margret.
Good movie to watch on a leisurely day with a strong drink.
It was a good first episode. I hope this contues. I don't get all the hate. But if I am guessing right, people didn't like how she-hulk is instantly able to perform stuff better than bruce.
