Despite knowing the resolution, I felt this was a tense and gripping movie. The scenes with Hitler were suitably chilling.
It hurts. They've put in some nice little nods to the original series, and the opening scene is nice, but then they crank up the language for no good reason. Does he really need to make a comment when they're going through the gate at the beginning? Spike would have stuffed his face with food instead of asking if he could eat. Why the heck is Faye already making an appearance? Why have the big-bad show up this early? I definitely want to see how they've done some of the other bounties they've hinted at, but I'm afraid it would just hurt too much to keep watching.
I'm impressed with how good this film turned out. It's better than the prequel
I have to give John Cena his flowers; his acting skills has improved drastically since his first film 12 Rounds.
Yep... the best DCEU movie so far. Entertaining to say the least and good action too. The only problem is that movie by movie the connection between them is stupidly outrageous. Every director his own decisions and ruined the univers. By the way, if any of them did half of James Gunn work the DCEU would be enjoyable.
On the surface this film is about a group of people who have been labelled “villains”, working together to save the world. But really, this film is about one man and one man alone, he isn’t strong, but yet he defies all odds and sacrifices his life to save his friends. His only power is his bravery, he is the driver of the van and the main character of this film, Milton.
Kinda funny but probably not as funny as it thinks it is
Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Dakota Fanning, Tim Roth & Al Pacino all in one movie directed by Quentin Tarantino? This is gonna be good......
If the system is more important than the people, people suffer and die. Those men didn't have to die.
Of course there is a bit of dramatization involved, it is a movie not a documentary. But I am glad they didn't turn it into an action-cgi-flick à la Hollywood. The message is clear, yet it is not hammered in.
