Very boring. A struggle to get through with 0 payoff. I don't know why this film fares so well with some audience, I just don't see it.
This portrayal of Michael is incredible. He really feels like this unstoppable force who is so consumed with murder, he can only focus on his current kill before getting bored and hunting the next.
The scene that starts with the drone... the way it ended... that's Michael Myers.
Usually not a fan of the found footage, but they pull this off brilliantly with the film ramping up its chills and intensity every minute.
I gave it a second watch to be sure. It takes itself too seriously to be fun. It's way too off the wall to be serious. I can't say anything without spoilers.
Great film. Mikkelsen and the rest of the cast are spot on. The film is not just about consumption, but about the risks you'll take to break free of the mundane life so many feel trapped in, and the consequences for breaking those shackles.
Well done. Debunking the most farfetched and dangerous lies in a compassionate way. Most episodes are less than 8 minutes.
Way better than I expected.
If it's 3AM and you're still wide awake looking for something to watch, try Cell.
You may have to watch it in sessions.
The most fun, most 'Rated R' of Super Hero/Villian movies (way more than Brightburn). Cast was great.
First time I've seen John Cena in a movie and he was fantastic.
Can't say much else without spoilers.
Meh. Struggled to get through this, 3rd time I barely made it. It's OK. Too much teenage angst for me to get in to it.
Alita: Battle Angel is much better second time around.
Its "meh". I'm struggling to get through the last 20 minutes; it's just kind of a mess at this point...
Great first act, but then the film goes in all of these different tangents until you're so underwhelmed with the characters you start to wonder if this movie can really have a runtime of nearly 2 hours.
I have to run through this a second time. I couldn't get past all the 90's teenage angst. It went from waxing nostalgia to annoying quickly.
I tried... this movie started getting to me about halfway and stopped.
If you read the title then saw the picture of Vinnie Jones with a huge meat tenderizer on the cover and thought, Neat, you won't be disappointed.
It's a Clive Barker story, so that should say something, but more "Hellraiser" than "Nightbreed" as far as violence goes.
It's got a fair amount of gore. There's some human suffering, (but not much).
It's interesting, is paced pretty well, and has a good cast who all play their parts well.
The tempo was all over. The music was great, but way over the top, especially the first ~20 minutes of the film. You don't know what's happening, but you feel manic. I never rooted for any of the characters.
Fantastic acting with a great cast, but a rushed story and over the top editing made this fall flat.
Watched this on the advice of @FoundFlix. Interesting and tense, worth the watch (at least once).
Ugh. I'm worse off mentally for watching this movie. Its disturbing, yeah. But unnecessary.
This is the worst movie of any genre I've seen in a long time.
