"In all honesty, I prefer long-form television to the movies. It's so much more convenient to consume entertainment from the comfort of your own home." Wink wink
This was such a good, happy episode. It actually warmed my heart to see the children safe and comfortable, if only for a short while. Stephano was absolutely hilarious with his accent and papers that had Count Olaf's information on the other side.
I like that the opening theme changes a bit as we go from one book to the next.
It's cool that we get to see the children's parents. In the books, we never actually found out if they were alive or not, there were little hints that pointed to the former, but we couldn't be sure. Here, we finally have a confirmation.
A solid episode. It felt a little tedious, but I guess that's because not that many things happened in the second book. Still, it was perfectly entertaining.
I have to say, Sunny is such an awesome character. She throws so much shade and it's amazing. I'll never be half as cool as her and she's a baby.
That little exchange between Count Olaf and Jacquelyn on the ship was hilarious. And the harpoon gun was another fun reference.
Mommy and Daddy Baudelaire are freaking badass. I love them.
Oh, this was fantastic. Such an intense episode that also did a great job of getting me excited for the next season.
"Haven't you learned anything this year... week... season?"
"It's the end of the season, er, semester."
Fourth wall? What fourth wall?
Shirley's tale of woe complete with seductive poses made me cry with laughter.
I'm really sad that we watched the Quagmires' daring escape and journey from Peru back to their home just for them to perish in a fire. I knew it was coming, but it still hurt.
That musical number at the end was unexpected, but I loved it. Somehow it just fit right in with the rest of the weirdness and absurdity.
Overall, this was an amazing season. All the actors were superb in their roles. Shoutout to Patrick Warburton in particular for being the perfect Lemony Snicket. His smooth voice and calm, somewhat deadpan delivery were exactly what I'd hoped for. NPH IS Count Olaf. He absolutely nailed the role. Malina Weissman and Louis Heyes were a bit stiff and awkward at times, but I still think they did an excellent job, especially considering that they're both just 13 years old and have very little acting experience. I'm sure they're just going to get better with age. And Sunny... Sunny is wonderful. I love her. I love all three of them, actually. They're my children now. I'm going to protect them and keep them safe and comfortable. They're going to eat ice cream for dinner. Their bedtime is never.
Funniest episode of the season so far.
A network show that is actally funny. Who the fuck knew these still existed
I miss this show a lot. It was fun. I really don't get the hate.
Feels like Disney is growing up and finally had the nerve to introduce a real life-like storyline where you can put a positive spin on mistakes and poor choices. Not juicy, not glittery or geil. At last I am very comfortable and happy to watch such a real sitcom by Disney Channel as an adult. The Pilot episode just blew my mind.
Jess i kinda annoying with her singing. i dont find it funny at all. too bad reagen left, she wasn't really funny but i liked her caracter and she looks so frigin hot
so not only did I tell my roommate who Jason's killer was about 10 episodes ago but I also kept guessing every line of dialogue in this episode and being spot on. ridiculous show is ridiculous.
Great News is really great. One of the best new sitcoms of the entire season.
Love Giles in this episode.
I love how Anya always has the answer to all demon-related questions
By now "Hush" has become a classic and is considered to be one of the best episodes of the show.
A harrowing episode with excellent writing and directing that makes for a very accurate portrayal of what goes on in those first few hours after a loved one dies.
Additional note: There is no background music anywhere in this entire episode.
One of the best episodes I have ever seen in any TV show. Chilling.
"I think this line is mostly filler" LOL
please don't make new guy caitlin's new love interest.
I love kickass ladies more than anything, so I liked this episode. I do think the "#feminism" thing was kind of cringeworthy though. Like, girls teaming up and kicking ass was literally the focus of this episode, you don't have to tell us that it's feminist. We know. I'm a feminist myself and I'm 100% here for female empowerment, but the way they tried to bring attention to it every 5 seconds was grating. If you keep making a big deal out of powerful and capable women, it will never be seen as something normal and common (which, you know, it is). Instead, it will feel gimmick-y. Fortunately, this was probably a one-time thing and Caitlin and Iris will go back to being casual badasses in the next episode.
My favorite part was that Caitlin and Iris had so many scenes together. Seriously, I've been waiting for so long for their friendship to develop into something more than just work colleagues. This is the brOTP that we deserve.
Drunk Barry was so hilarious. My sweet boy, crying over Jack and Rose. But he's a scientist, he should know that just because the door was big enough for the two of them, it doesn't mean that it could hold both of them. There's this thing called buoyancy, you know. They totally could've taken turns though.
Also, did Felicity really say "The Incredible Hulk"? Are they allowed to name-drop Marvel heroes?
hahah. this was a great end to the season. best part was when glen farted. hahaha. Then, at the end of the episode he calls the CEO MR. Farterson
What an ending to a fantastic second season. Timeless has done what most other shows can't do in their sophomore seasons: Be better than an already excellent first season. If NBC and Sony don't renew this show for a third season, I'm going to go crazy.
This show is bitchin! Great season finale.
"Get pregnant. Use your body to give the world more Jake."
I don't know how they get Titus to become more hilarious with each season, but somehow they just carry on doing it.
I liked to watch the two sights of the story coming together. Nice job and yes, the story is going slow as it is meant cause telling it in a short way wouldnt make any sense.
Can't say The Middle was my ultimate favourite show ever but it certainly was entertaining from start to finish and that final episode left me quite a bit teary-eyed. T_T
Lovely ending to a lovely show. It really has been a Heck of a ride.
