Star Trek: Discovery: 1x06 Lethe

Yeah, I've seen this coming. Sometimes, the Captain seems to be a nice-one, sometimes he sends his admiral and friend to death so he can continue being Captain.
Oh my god, the story is sooo deep! Nah, he's just an ass.

And what incredible things has Discovery done so far in the war? They've saved a colony and an ambassador who was supposed to die. Good, but no fate turning action.

They should've stayed on the Jupiter station and test their drive there...

And Michael is, of course, an INCREDIBLE officer because she accidently happened to have a mental connection to a pessenger on a ship in distress. Furtunate, but no achievement.

If military worked like this, that Jamaican girl from season 1 of "The Last Ship" would've become bridge officer too because she happened to be immune against the Red Flu...

Surely a reason to get a promotion!

@sonnythebear Good Science Fiction has always been a parable about the present. Or do you think "Bele and Lokai" was one of the greatest TOS episodes because of the makeup and Bele's crazy ass CGI starship?

Star Trek Continues: 1x11 To Boldly Go: Part II

I am so much impressed, I can't describe it.
This goes straight to my Top 10 list of any Star Trek episode ever produced.

The story is absoletly impressing. And they've solved quite a few continuity problems without it looking forced.
Some of these solvings are very sad though...
There's not a single second in this episode that I have any criticism for.

This episode turned the whole of Star Trek up to 11!

@mansemat Sure ;-)

McKennah and Smith have been introduced by Star Trek Continues. They don't appear and aren't mentioned in the movies that take place after the end of the 5 year mission. This episode gives an explanation why, so STC fits into canon.
If McKennah had been still alive, the crew definitely would have taken her to the V'Ger mission.

This episode also explains why Kirk gave up command of the Enterprise and became Admiral.

I think there've been more. I haven't watched this episode for a year.

Dimension 404

I tried...i really tried. Watched all 6 episodes...but i just cant get past the fact that this is just a copy 1:1 of The Outer Limits....i mean common even the entry monologue... do not click back do not reload = do not attempt to adjust the picture. we are controlling the transmission. Overall...this is only good to watch at the end of my other 30 like show's seasons waiting for the summer ones to start. 2/10

@ramadri
Yeah, it's a copy regarding the style, you're right.
But the 90s' "Outer Limits" had been a copy of another show themselves: the 60s' "Outer Limits".
I LIKE that a show with this anthology creepy stuff style is back on air, no matter what its name is.
As long as they don't start to copy stories we've already seen, I'll have fun!

8/10!
