The whole ordeal was like a make-a-wish kid was given full control.
The music never fucking stops! and it wasn't good music, it was just looped in the middle. (I wasn't at home viewing It on my system, but I could barely hear any dialogue)
It has sweeping camera shots trying to be 'Buffy Once more with feeling" but they do nothing, they lead to nothing.
Again the whole look of the episode is equal to some cute little furry alien tiddlyweens programme on cbeebies.
It all felt like a charity special short that wasn't short.
then another character talks to the pissing camera. (the character who is moaning about the box at the beginning, suddenly knows all)I wonder if this is a massive fuck up by the BBC akin to The Only fools and horses one from the late 90s.

VIP7I really liked The Ghoul’s and the little brother’s vault story coming to an epic shared conclusion. Lucy and Maximus had a really boring journey throughout, and never really seemed to grow as characters, Maximus is still a dumbass and Lucy is still clueless and gullible.

Interesting. I thought that Lucy really developed through the season. Not only did she figure out where she is from, but she also figured out what life is about and that maybe living in the vault isn't great. Max and Lucy had in many ways opposite journeys that were very similar.

VIP4I have just seen the first episode, and that is enough. This was awful. The acting, the story, the scenery. It also feels nothing like the games in it's "atmosphere", even with all its forced references.
But probably worst of all: it was boring.
One of the worst pilots I've ever seen. Steer clear of this one if you have any standard, even if you don't care about the games.

The visual effects leave much to be desired, giving the series an unpolished B-movie feel. The direction falls short as well. In contrast, the adaptation of another game, The Last of Us, sets a significantly higher standard.

That series finale was probably one of the worst ones ever, in my opinion. Ted should have never ended up with Robin because she continuously hurt him and rejected him for other men. He was so happy with Tracy that it's illogical for them to not grow old together....

Well she did die. Kinda hard to grow old when she died.
Since they recorded the kids talking to Ted in season 1 (everything was recorded around the time season 1 was recorded. even the end) they was planing on Tracy to die from the beginning.

Holy fuck that was so bad, don't get me wrong Ncuti Gatwa is a great actor but he's terrible Doctor Who, didn't feel the magic that previous actors had. Ruby is so irritating and can't bare her on screen. I completely lost hope that this series is gonna be good again. Maybe I will come back to Doctor Who when they change the actor again, if this series will last this long

Why in the world is this marked as separate show and the one from 2005 marked as Ended? This is not a reboot, but a direct continuation of the previous episode The Power of the Doctor! I know they want to call the new season Season 1 because of Disney Plus, but it is not, it's actually Season 14. It makes no sense at all. Not to mention that the specials also reference previous seasons. This is not like a reboot from 2005 when newcomers could just start watching from there and ignore Classic Who. Newcomers can't start from here! I don't understand why it couldn't say Season 14 on Disney. All the previous seasons could be imported at some point once the whatever deal they have with BBC expires (I assume that's what is stopping them from putting them on the platform right away).
This is just insane, an insult to the fans, Jodie (doctor not regenerating into her clothes), Chibnall, everyone...How do we organize our collection now and sync with Trakt? I don't want to label it as a separate show. What's interesting is that IMDB and TVDB show seasons correctly and have Season 14. TMDB does some weird stuff.
Update: If someone is wondering how to organize the collection in Plex, just follow TVDB and it will be shown correctly.
