I enjoyed it. It's not great, but it made me smile and laugh and that is what is important. I believe the majority of negative comments come from those that don't like having there failings spotlighted. This pokes fun at the faults in both the Gen X's and Millennials cultures, gotta learn to laugh at yourself and recognise that each generation has it's problems and positives.
pure tripe, awful writing and forced morality at its worst.
Well the man hate continues into season 2 ...
Such a breath of fresh air to watch a comedy unconstrained from tick box 'don't offended anyone' camp. Absolutely love it and hope they keep this one going for a good few seasons.
20 minutes to go and I came to the comments section. Pretty much says it all. Couple of entertaining moments, but soon becomes predictably repetitive.
Would love to see this become a regular thing. Some big names here and I'm suspecting they are not charging huge fees and doing it for the love of it. Funny a lot and very very funny at times, but there are messages in here to make you think too.
Billy boy has mellowed over the years, but that's not a bad thing. Angry ginger manages to raise his head now and again to remind us he still has a sting in the tail.
Hopefully Roku can handle the backlash that some of the episodes will get.
AHS used to be dangerous and push boundaries. now they are just scared of cancel culture and woke Twitter mobs. RIP AHS
I've not watched it, but when there is only one actor you recognise ... well it's probably a miss. I also have the feeling from the brief Trakt overview of the film that I'm going to be lectured to on morality again.
I loved the first 3 seasons and danced in the streets when Amazon picked it up. These two seasons ... won't bother with S6. Slow, disjointed, too much social comment for no reason. Amos and Drummer are the only consistent characters, the rest have massive personality changes that just don't happen.
Amazing, finally! There are no white men in the future ... had to happen sooner or later!
Feels like the writers had 75% of a good idea and instead of fleshing it out they took LSD and shat on the page. Really not worth the effort unless you like being told your the problem all along ... which we know already ... give us something to escape from our own tragic, worthless existence.
A perfect adaptation of a normal persons initiation into 4chan culture. Bravo!
I can't believe it has been 15 years! A truly heart fealt thank you to cast and crew, present and past. Supernatural has been a part of my life since season 1 when I thought 'this looks like fun' and has continued to entertain, tear at my heart and make me laugh out loud. You will be missed but better to burn out than fade away. Carry on my wayward friends ...............
The writers have perfectly cocked up two season finales, that takes some doing.
I see that even in the 17th century the invasion of sub tropical crickets is a problem ... who knew!
the sound director needs psychiatric help ... massive invasion of crickets in England and a Scotsman with the weirdest accent, sort of a cross between Sean Connery and PewDiePie
I forget how beautiful Christina Ricci is.
All these comments and none mention the real star of the show Catherine O'Hara. There are so many two or three word pieces of genius in her script. And delivered brilliantly.
Bit weird that there is suddenly an invasion of crickets in rural England. I'm guessing American audiences wouldn't believe it was dark otherwise.
Getting worried about season 2 ... there is a creeping feeling of a moral tale to be told! Certainly not something I want to happen or think should. For once can the nasty baddies win please and the good guys get their ass kicked? Please?!
RIP Brian, fantastic character actor and a gentleman. I raised a glass at the end of the episode. Rest well.
Just started watching ... and it's cancelled! Well I guess I will watch it all anyway.
A very good film with an excellent central performance, but the love fest is odd. We seem to be living in a time where we are told a movie is controversial and knife edge 'of the moment'. It's a fairly repeated formula and nothing new at all. We have to face the fact that Hollywood can't make a controversial film out of fear they will offend someone and get Twitter cancelled. shame really.
RIP Brian, you will be missed.
Will give it a go, but how are they going to recreate the atmosphere of the original? I wonder if it would have been better to not associate it with the fantastic gothic atmosphere of 19th century London.
hmm, starting to feel like they should have wound it up last season, the cast look bored of it now.
The acting of Jack is straight from Friends Joey... if your thinking then pretend you're smelling a fart.
Sadly one of the worst Supernatural episodes I've seen, wooden acting and no enthusiasm for plot.
Miss Farscape so much. Really hope the rumours of a reboot come true.
I really miss Farscape, there was talk of it coming back, but it wouldn't be the same without Dargo.
