Star Trek: Discovery: 2x13 Such Sweet Sorrow (1)

Just a heads up for y'all. Nobody cares if you don't like this episode, season, series. Maybe stop watching and complaining under every episode and just get out of here.

loading replies

@balazs955 And because "nobody cares", you had to leave a comment about how you don't care, instead of a review. That makes about as much sense as the plot in STD. :-P

Suits: 6x06 Spain

Why did they name it "Spain" ?

loading replies

@jochob Did you miss the story about Cahill's mom? "Spain" is his motivation to break the rules, and to ask Harvey for the program.

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote

The director and the producer should be arrested. In order to shoot the film, they destroyed part of the monument that is Unesco's patrimony.

They broke ancient stones, cut trees without permission to make fires with twenty meters ...

It was a total disrespect, destroy world heritage just for the purpose of making money ....

I recommend everyone, do a search on Google or translate Portuguese news on the subject.

@353sqmijy From wiki: On 4 July 2017, Portuguese authorities ruled that Gilliam's crew was only responsible for "insignificant damage", adding that the accusations "lacked rigor and revealed a lack of scientific knowledge".

Star Trek: Discovery: 2x13 Such Sweet Sorrow (1)

Well, @balazs955 inspired me to leave a comment that this episode is just another disappointment. >70% of this episode was full of pathos and preceding weeping, terribly written and acted as (almost) always when STD gets emotional. What makes this even more absurd is that half of the weeping was pointless, as most of the crew decides to join the mission at the end.

loading replies

@balazs955 Lol. Well actually it's no surprise that you are incapable to register the criticism, if you are equally incapable to register all of the plenty of flaws in the series.

Besides, other things you got wrong:
1. I didn't leave comments for every episode.
2. I wasn't always bashing the series. There are several episodes with good ratings and some mildly appreciating reviews. Including season 2.
3. When we leave multiple critical comments it's because we experienced multiple bad episodes. Logic. You might want to try that once.

The Crown: 6x03 Dis-Moi Oui

Is it "The Crown" or a serie about Diana ? Because ... Three episodes only based on her ... She wasn't a member of the royal family anymore !

loading replies

And your point is? That the series should spend only one episode on the greatest tragedy and following crisis the British monarchy experienced over several decades?

First time we explicitly watch a murder in this series.

Iman killed a guy but we didn't see him die, he just got crushed by a bunch of wood. I'm not counting Tarlaq putting himself and his brother out of their misery because it was an explosion. That suffocation was brutal.

Could of been a lot better without any political crap in it...

loading replies

@tmurd87 what was political about it?

loading replies

I guess Tyler was upset about becoming friends with immigrants or trans people. Highly political - for the phobic.

You know those times when you don’t know what to watch, so you put on something you know is garbage, just to yell at it in your own bad rendition of MST3K? I know you do. Because you’re reading a comment about Money Plane.

Overall, it’s bad. Really bad. But not in the, cheap, self-aware, over-the-top ridiculous way that you’d expect. It’s just… bad.

There are a few good opportunities to yell at bad CGI, overly-serious acting, and bad green screen, but ultimately you’ll just find yourself forcing yourself waiting for it to end.

TL;DR: even if you want to laugh at how bad it is, don’t bother.

@thejeffmatson That "I know you do" made me chuckle. While it's all true, I'm still considering this movie though.

Oh, sure, Lagunas cartel from Mexico knew that some ppl in small place in Ozark USA are laundering money for Navaro, even though everything is legitimate on surface and no way they could trace it and come to Ozark.

loading replies

It's not a secret that they are money laundering for Navarro. The FBI knows, many others in the state too. It's very realistic that another cartel would gain such information.

I really wish I had a friend like Harvey... A friend that has infinite ways to help you out of infinite situations. Every season thus far, has been nothing but extraordinary. Season 7 is going to blow us all away.

I think it's one 'cool' movie by John Singleton.
Probably because I'd loved to have a brotherhood like that.
I watch it every year when it's freezing cold outside ^‿^

So, you watch The Village, and you're like, "Wait a minute, this is definitely not that good of a movie. "Yeah, this is a very meehh movie." I mean, the whole thing is just so boring and stupid and pointless. It's just the worst thing to have to sit through. It's like nothing's happening. It's like I'm not watching anything. Nothing's happening. It's like I might as well just have my face against a wall for an hour and 49 minutes. It's weird that we find out that it was actually people dressing up as these creatures, but somehow, they were able to make these weird creature noises, and they were all very talented at it, too. I mean, even the mentally handicapped character made some sick noises. And what's up with their motive? Like, the oldest people in the village are just dressing up and pretending to be monsters, so that the young people don't go outside, because apparently the world is a cruel and heartless place. But what's their long-term plan? I mean, like, when they're dead, aren't there going to be a lot less monsters? Are they going to try and convince their children and say, like, "Oh, yeah. Actually, there's, like, technology and everything, but we sheltered you from it." "Oh, yeah. We also illegally live in a wildlife preserve." Overall rating: complete waste of time.

loading replies

@mitzle-deleted-1476635645 They don't live illegally there, as they own that place. It's just sheltered from any intruders exactly to protect the village.

I watched this drama, action, thriller, suspense, and romantic movie on Netflix. Colin Farrell loses his wife and his daughter and comes after who now is his boss, a few years later. His female neighbor blackmails him to do a hit on a drunken driver who ruined her life. They fall for each other. Great plot, twist at the end, and excellent movie! 5 stars.
