Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but not far from it! I'm surprised any of the actors would even want to be associated with it.
The CGI is horrible, it doesn't even try to look real. The action scenes, for the most part, aren't even close to being believable, even for a comic book based movie. Pedro Pascal is about as cheesy as you can get as Max Lord. And he's not believable as a super villain. Kristen Wiig isn't bad as Cheetah but she's not in the movie enough, doesn't have enough fight scenes, and is too easily defeated. And the plot holes are as numerous as pot holes in a New England road after a hard winter as the movie jumps from one scene to another with little continuity
The first Gal Gadot Wonder Woman movie was pretty good so I'm sure there will be a sequel to this one. I hope it's better although after this one, the bar is pretty low!
It was ok. The premise is fantastic but the actual implementation is very hit or miss. The movie jumps all over the place making it very hard to follow, it's very jumbled. There is little to no emotion shown by the actors.
Didn't live up to the trailer, but what movie does? I thought it was ok, worth a watch. Yes, we've seen it before, but what movie haven't we seen before? Butler wasn't at his finest, but none of the actors were, including Glenn. This movie wasn't bad, just wasn't great. In 2020, what more can you expect?
A complete let down. The first season was so good, the second season is just disappointing. The acting is awful, especially Clara and Sandy. Everything is drawn out. And the plot holes are huge!
Awful! Just awful! The episodes have been getting worse after the first couple seasons. Season 6 was terrible and season 7 was so bad, it took me over a year to watch the whole thing. The only reason I finished it was because the Walking Dead: World Beyond looks like it might possibly be interesting. It wouldn't take much to be better then this season! I hope I can make it thru Season 8, if it's as bad as 7, I may just go into World Beyond without finishing TWD!
The beginning and middle were awful! I almost stopped watching several different times, the only reason I continued were the stars. The last half hourish was much better and brought the score up from a negative score to a positive. I only gave it a 6 although the last half hour was probably an 8 just because the beginning and middle were so bad.
A great episode, a fine ending to a fantastic season. The most interest I've had in a Star Trek season in years. I must admit, tho, I didn't much care for Picard coming back after such an emotional ending (at least for me, I cried as he died as he identifies for me Star Trek as much as Kirk, Spock, etc., does.) It feels like such a cheat, although it's understandable as it would be hard for Star Trek Picard to continue if Picard is dead. TV must continue to fill the pockets of it's masters!
More cohesive then the first episode, still a bit disjointed. Ben Mendelsohn is getting slighter better, most of the others are as well, but not sure what Marc Menchaca is going to add, he seems pretty abrasive.
Very slow start. The plot looks pretty good so far (I haven't read the Steven King story). But the constant jumping around in time drives me nuts and Ben Mendelshon speaks so little and so slowly and shows so little emotion, it's like he's not even there.
I'm interested in seeing where this goes but I hope it picks up some momentum!
I wanted to give it a 5 but bumped it up to a seven due to a good plot, Steven King, and several people telling me how good the series is.
Good, not great. Not a big Jolie fan but she's decent in this. And I love Liev Schreiber, he's pretty good in this as is Chiwetel Ejiofor. Fast paced, plenty of action. Couple of plot holes tho, mainly, Jolie breaking into the president's totally and completely safe bunker? Come on, I would hope that it wouldn't be as easy as both Jolie and, near the end, the cops, make it!
Overall, a decent way to waste a couple of hours but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again.
Just awful! So bad I couldn't make it more then about 30 minutes! If I had had some cocktail forks available, I would have stabbed myself in the eyes!
Nowhere near as good as the first two. Huge unexplained plot holes litter the first two thirds of the movie. The ending was the only decent part of it and I'm not sure how I managed to make it to the end.
They're obviously setting up a Jamanji 4, I hope they put a little more effort into that one then they did into this one!
2nd episode was better then the first and the first was pretty good. Looking forward to see how the season progresses!
Is it just me or was there excessive blood at both the convenience store with the stabbed guy and at the supermarket with the bodies in the loading area ?
Decent plot, decent pacing and filming. The actors and dialog are very wooden, very little inflection in tone and very little emotion. Could have been much better with just a little effort.
By the middle of the show, the timelines were coming rapidly, jumping back and forth, even more confusing then usual. However, if you can make it thru, by the end of this episode, it all is starting to tie together. Definitely the best episode of all so far.
This episode only made things more confusing! It is not at all clear that there are several different timelines! Very poor TV writing and producing!
And those of you who are criticizing those of us who aren't following the different timelines, keep your superiority to yourselves! Maybe if you took the time you use criticizing us to explain what we missed, we could follow the stories better! But, then you wouldn't be able to feel superior!
Very disappointing, especially after the fantastic debut season!
I thought overall it was a good, almost great movie that could have used more subtitles. Started off slow, remained slow thru the middle, but really picked up at the end.
I did have some nitpicking tho. I've never been in battle, but don't you hope for the best and plan for the worst? Twice they went out and had no cover when they needed it.
Also, there were no other soldiers other then Canadian? The narration even mentioned that the airfield was a collection of different countries soldiers but they never mentioned or showed any other soldiers then Canadian, Afghanistan, Taliban, and militia?
And the love interest was kinda odd. They were supposed to be keeping it quiet, but were meeting out in the open, touching and holding hands out in the open, and someone even mentioned that everyone knew about it. It was supposed to pull at your heartstrings at the end and it did, but I would have been upset at the end even without it. If you're going to have it in the movie, at least end the movie with Jennifer and the child back in Canada!
A surprisingly good movie. So campy and bad that it was actually good. A couple of plot twists that I probably should have seen coming but didn't.
Started off pretty good, interesting premise, but falls apart quickly. Could have been an epic movie but poor character development, confusing follow thru on the plot, and a WTF bewildering ending make it just another B movie, if that.
