Probably the single worst movie I’ve seen in some time! I usually force myself to finish watching any movie I start but I could only get about halfway thru this farce!
If they told us Amin one more time that they needed to talk, I would have jumped thru the screen and shot him myself.
This movie was so bad that Berenger and White didn’t even pretend to give a shit!
Adkins had very little to do as far as showing off his fighting skills, not even sure why he was in the movie.
Started off surprisingly good being a Netflix film.
But, quickly went down hill!
Acting wasn’t particularly good.
Giant plot holes.
But the worst part was thinking we wouldn’t notice that an entire group of trained and linked soldiers were wiped out as soon as they landed but an untrained civilian and an unlinked mech survived multiple attacks and multiple things falling on them without even a scratch!
The only thing worthwhile was the scenery.
One of the, if not the, worst marvel movies I’ve ever seen! Probably one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen!
The dialog is awful!
The acting is awful!
The plot holes are big enough to drive an ambulance with lights and sirens through!
The only redeeming value is I watched it during breaks at work so I didn’t really lose any time watching this piece of garbage!
About the same as part 1, not great, not bad.
Quite a bit more action, other then the painful slo-motion, the action wasn’t bad.
Acting was ok.
Scenery was pretty good.
I won’t be looking forward to the next movies but I will watch at least watch the next one, if there is one.
Wasn’t great, wasn’t bad.
Acting was acceptable, nothing particularly great or particularly bad.
Plot has been done before and better.
Visuals were outstanding.
I could have found better things to do with my time but it certainly wasn’t a waste of time.
I will be watching part two!
Much better then season 2. Not quite up to season 1 but definitely better than season 2.
Really, the only complaint I have is the flashbacks. I don't generally like constant flashbacks and it takes a lot to really make them work. Season 1 had flashbacks but they were generally ok and mostly worked ok although I would have be happy if they didn't have them. Season 3 has them constantly! And, they flashback to 2 different time periods! And, they don't make it clear which period they're flashing back too! And, they don't work as well as they did in season 1.
I give season 3 a weak 7 out of 10 due to the flashbacks.
Great scenery, good fight scenes although the one with the gun men was absurd.
Jang hyuk seemed lackluster as the lead although, again, the fight scenes were fine.
Joe Taslim was great.
Started off really well but lost traction towards the end.
Great actors and pretty good acting.
Hinted at a crooked past for nichols but never explains anything.
I don’t feel the ending really works and dropped my rating from at least an 8 down to a 7.
Close to but not as good as season 1 but so much better then season 2.
Definitely worth watching.
Not a particular good move due to it's being disjointed and all over the place. It never felt like a Guardians movie. I never felt like I was attached to any of the characters. I especially couldn't get into Gamora and Nebula acting the complete opposite of their characters in the previous movies.
Most of the action was pretty good and most of the acting wasn't bad but the story had no continuity and didn't make sense thru most of it so I gave it a 6 out of 10, not a complete waste but I doubt I'll watch it again.
Basically an MI rip off but it’s not bad. Could have been a lot better but not a complete waste of time.
Much better than I expected! An enjoyable watch!
Not great, not bad.
The story was pretty shaky at the start trying to explain everyone’s relationships and there were a few plot holes and over reaching in the beginning.
But it definitely got better as the movie progressed.
The acting was ok, not great but not bad.
The blonde daughter was a little hard to take coming from two Latinos.
The scenery was fantastic, especially the winter snowy scenes.
Not a great movie but certainly not a waste of time. I gave it a 7 out of 10.
An uncomfortable subject matter for an old fogey like me, it took awhile for me to get thru it.
But, holy cow! I had tears in my eyes at the near end!
One of the best single episodes I’ve seen in a long long time! Nick offerman and Murray Bartlett are fantastic as bill and frank!
I think it’s a bit of a plot hole to expect them to not be over run by someone at some point but it doesn’t detract at all from the episode!
A 15 out of 10!
Not a very good movie on its own. As part of the Marvel Universe, it's awful! It's so forgettable, I originally watched it almost exactly six years ago and didn't remember anything about it. BTW, I'm rewatching the Marvel Universe in chronological order which is the only reason I watched this again.
It doesn't have a particularly good story and has some huge plot holes. Especially irritating is that the movie plays out Banner becoming the Hulk in the opening credits and not particularly well. The movie opens with Banner hiding in South America already on the run. If you don't pay much attention to the opening credits, you're kind of lost as the movie starts, even if you do pay attention to the opening credits, you're still kind of lost.
The acting is ok, but nothing special. After watching the Hulk in the Avenger movies, it's hard to see any of the actors as convincing in their roles. Liv Tyler's soft spoken, breathy voice was especially irritating.
The action is actually pretty good, although the military doesn't come off very well! The CGI isn't bad and holds up pretty well 14 years later.
It's not a complete waste of time but there's nothing special or memorable about it. I originally gave it a 6 out of 10 and, if anything, I might go down to a 5 out of 10 on my second watch.
Great movie!
I wasn't expecting much. After reading the description, I wasn't expecting anything, I wasn't sure I'd even be able to watch all of it. But it was unexpectedly good, borderline great.
Sandra Bullock gives a fantastic performance. The other actors did pretty well but Bullock pretty much carries the movie. I would have liked to see some of the other characters fleshed out a bit more, especially Katie. But, considering it's basically Ruth's story, the characters were fine.
Not much action so if you're looking for action packed, you'll need to go elsewhere. The early flashbacks were a bit confusing but it kind of pulled together as the movie progressed.
One huge plot twist that I should have seen coming but didn't.
Overall, an 9 out of 10. Best movie I've seen in quite a while.
Pretty cheesy but, overall, much better than I expected.
A solid 7 out of 10.
Some major plot holes, mostly regarding bodyguard duties, which I admittedly know nothing about.
Overall, tho, not a great movie but not a bad one, either.
Better then expected, especially after watching Avengement which was much worse then expected.
Surprisingly good!
I’m not really a Garner fan so I wasn’t expecting much. But, it was much better then I expected.
Too much dark action making it hard to see what was going on was my only real complaint other then we’ve seen this movie a hundred times before.
Much better than expected.
I haven't played any of the games so I'm going strictly from the movie.
The plot was interesting. The action is great. Not much character development. Great scenery. Acting and dialog weren't particularly good.
Overall, I gave it a 7 out of 10 for the action and scenery.
Story wasn’t bad but the implementation didn’t work too well.
The acting at times was atrocious and got worse towards the end.
Same with the dialogue.
And the voice emotions were a far cry from matching the action. The action might have been frenetic but the voices remained the same calm tone throughout the entire movie!
Not a great movie but much better then expected! Would have gotten a better rating if the English voice overs were more emotional!
Not a great movie but much better then expected!
Certainly not a good movie, but slightly better then I expected based on the reviews
Better then expected. Not much action, just two vets bonding and trying to get over their issues.
A disappointing end to what, along with The Expanse, is probably the best sci fi show ever.
Rei's entrance was fantastic when she appears and, ninja like, saves Kovacs. . I don't know anything about Dichen Lachman, I really want to like her, but her acting in this is wooden and unconvincing. I pretended in the previous episodes that it wasn't that bad. But in this episode, it was so bad, I couldn't ignore it anymore. And her dialog in general, but in particular in the scenes in the Head in the Clouds, was abysmal. Although all the dialog in the scenes in Head in the Clouds was abysmal!
The final episode felt like they had at least another episode to go but then had to throw everything together into one final episode which made it feel contrived and rushed.
I gave the season finale an 8 for a great plot, mostly good acting, mostly good dialog, great scenery, and great fight scenes. I knocked it down to a 7 for Dichen Lachman's acting and the overall weak dialog. As an aside, I'm reading the first book right now and the dialog doesn't seem as bad to me as it was in the series.
I hope season 2 is at least as good with a better ending!
Good, not great. Certainly not up to the usual standards of our superhero movies.
Plot was ok, scenery was ok, acting wasn't particularly good, and the dialog was, for the most part, cringeworthy.
Action was ok but too much slow motion for no effect.
I don't know much about any of the superheroes but Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher seem like poor choices to fight Black Adam, especially since Atom Smasher barely did anything.
I really like The Rock, he's a surprisingly good actor, but he's wasted in this movie. I hope he's given more to work with in any future DC movies.
All in all, an ok movie. I gave it a 6 out of ten for The Rock.
As an aside, I watched it in RPX REGAL PREMIUM EXPERIENCE 2D without knowing what it was. It has the moving seats, blasts of air, water spray, etc. It may enhance some movies and some may think it's fantastic, but it didn't add anything for me and I found it extremely distracting. The seats move way too much, to the point I thought my soda might spill.
Yes, it's silly and ridiculous, with some huge plot holes.
Yet, I found it entertaining.
7 out of 10.
Surprisingly good movie. I went into it not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
Some great scenery along with pretty decent acting (although I found Lena Headey's character a bit ridiculous) over come some poor dialog and the occasional cringe worthy scene.
Some fairly large plot holes cause the movie to bounce incoherently at times (especially the ability to travel what appear to be large distances very quickly and the constant insistence on traveling alone in known zombie areas!), although, if you accept the premise of zombies, it's pretty easy to overlook the incoherency.
Overall, I gave Pride and Prejudice and Zombies a 7 out of 10 and look forward to the sequel, if there is one!
