Characters that didn't have any logic. Annoying rebellious acts for no apparent reasons. "Wise" elder characters who bicker and are useless. Story line was inexcusably weak, character development was pathetic, and it was altogether a bad show. Original Airbender was good, this was not. Teen drama crap.
Why the f*** is this getting 49% from 9 votes only when it's not even out yet. C'mon bitches, be real, the trailer is awesome.
I found this movie to be well intended but filled with a bunch of conflicting views. Yes, homeschooling is awesome, however, it was also portrayed as letting the children end up with poor socialization skills, and they were left thinking that they don't know anything if it wasn't taught in a textbook. The characters were against fascist totalitarianism yet the oldest son (Bo) was a Maoist. How is Mao not the epitome of "the man" they so often talked about sticking it to throughout the movie?
That the grandfather didn't do anything about the children going missing? But they all made it fine to fly out of an airport?
There are way too many inconsistencies in the movie as far as political philosophy and ideologies. But I suppose if you are able to look past that (why they hell would you since it's core to the movie?) then I guess you will enjoy this.
Positive was acting, the idea of the plot, and execution otherwise, but I'd be lying if it didn't irk me to no end that these fundamentals were butchered.
Some people just have zero sense of humor (srsly wtf is wrong with you people). They're just making fun of the show and reversing things. Mulder being cynical, there doesn't always have to be a logical explanation, and Mulder still gets to see a weirdness. Great stuff
Strong first season. Second season is a joke. feels like it's just a bunch of super heroes holed up in apartments. How fun is that ?
I won't watch anymore of this. I couldn't even make it through the first episode. I didn't really follow the plot, characters were annoying and exaggerated and of course, the oppai display is just silly. It felt totally unoriginal with everything I guess is the main gripe I have.
I wasn't pumped about another isekai but I got really invested in the character early on. It's been awhile since I enjoyed binging a show. This was a delight for me. The animation and the fighting scenes were great. Juju Kaisen has been getting all the attention but I thought the fighting scenes in JJK were nothing short of messy a lot of the time. This show has clean fight scenes. I also liked the twist on isekai too. It's not an isekai in the traditional sense.
I'm really looking forward to season 2
At the risk of being unpopular (based on the other reviews) I actually thought the main character was quite annoying.
Stealing the Rome inspectors role and then making things up about Italians being a super race I'm guessing was appropriate at some point, but I didn't think it was funny, nor do I see how a woman would fall for a man who would pretend to be other people in order to curry favor.
When he was in the opera house, and kept waving his hands effectively disturbing the woman next to him, I can't imagine she wouldn't be annoyed as all hell.
I was excited to watch an Italian movie, because it's rare to me, and I was enjoying listening to the language, but I think the humor is just a bit too dated for me to enjoy. I sadly couldn't make it through the whole film so I'm not going to rate it as I feel it's not fair.
I thought for sure there would be more than one season. It's a pretty badass show. They could have gone a bit further I think because after the first few episodes, it slowed down.
What an absolute Delight to show was. It had everything you want, and so peaceful at the same time
Is it me or did Booth become very accusatory in this season?
getting a bit out of hand with the powers added.
Loved the first one. This one was just tasteless, crude, and felt staged.
I love how Sunny just shoves the witch to the ground after she helps him, and she acts as if that was totally cool. Also great Bajji brought Sunny to her, and then calls everything she does bullshit :joy:. Too many contradictions in this episode
I've seen several clips online from him and I thought I'd give it a shot, but I think he doesn't carry a good rhythm. He has a couple of gems followed by long stretches of ugh. And he doesn't keep the momentum which is a real shame.
This episode is super key to the story. It explains so much about Ichigo and his half hollow side and how he's different
nice twist here !!! didn't see that coming ;)
speaking with the insane in-prisoned guy who's been through it before is so super cliché and overdone at this point. YAWN. A bit sad the show had to do that as it's so well written otherwise. playing the woke victimized woman's card is also annoying. could the writers really not have had more imagination? however, the episode does redeem itself towards the end. damn was it a nail biter.
the fighting music was almost unbearable! cool to see Buffy for the first time in this show. But kind of cliché and annoying in some bits. Hey, don't go off fighting alone, no sane person would do ... ok .. you just did... right. No one in IRL would be that dumb, but it's a show so they have to be.
Has already attempted to take down the fold. Blasts a Volcra, and then asks "did we kill it?" umm :unamused:
I can't find any empathy for the characters. I thought the movie was pretty boring. The soundtrack is questionable, the plot is shallow. The character development is really slow given that it's about the robot. I can't tell who the target audience is because there's a lot of long dialogue that I didn't care about but then scenes with the robot were at times slightly amusing, but at the same time rather childish. I'm guessing they tried to satisfied everyone and ended up appealing to no one. I did like the visuals.
It's a solo adventure with Tom Hanks. So much like his other movie cast away. btw, the robot apparently has an unlimited power-supply
kind of apprehensive to even watch this given how poorly GoT ended. Would I just be wasting my time again?
the psyche ward episode makes me want to quit the show right now. I hate this cliché crap. Is it really worth going on ?
Basically this is Mac from it's always sunny in Philadelphia playing a CEO character. It's an entertaining show, but I think Rob could have challenged himself as an actor and played someone else this time around.
Dr strange giving up the stone wrecked it for me
This anime really touched me. The story, the music, the art, it has it all.
For having so many troops that were part of the swarm, they sure didn't have many boots on the ground when the team went to rescue them on the planet ... despite it being their "base". Suspend all your beliefs, and it's still not that great of a movie.
movie was good until the end. the main guy's character turned out bad
The Trish character is so stupid it makes this show painful to watch at this point
I'm not going to beat around the bush. This episode was badass. More common philosophy and a good joke on the characters
