While this series runs at a slower pace similar to Salem or Taboo, episode 4 is deathly slow and put me off watching the series. It is based at a time before Shadow begins his prison sentence and explains the crime he committed. It answers a lot of questions about the plot that nobody was asking to fill in about how he met his wife and why she cheated on him, and is frankly a boring tangent story. Feel free to skip the first 33 minutes of this episode.

@hughpearse actually this episode was made to fix the perception of laura. the producers said that in the book and so far before this episode laura seemed like this cold heartless bitch who cheated on shadow and it was a very one sided view into what happened and that they wanted to show her perspective and portray more of what really happened so that the audience wouldnt see laura after this as some shallow asshole.
@drumnugget sure dude on drugs again? best charakter since Rick absense
@drumnugget what? is the perfect union of carl and rick, much needed light among the darkness of the other characters. i actually like her.
They should just cut every scene with this worst ever character dr. smith!

@john-the-modernist That character is so poorly written I try to skip ahead as much as possible when the plot is very clear, which it is most of the time.
