Don't watch this if you have not seen the first one recently. You will miss too much. I just watched back to back both, and loved it. Great story, characters, action, martial arts, everything. This is easily better than all recent Marvel and DC movies combined.
it's a crime that this show was cancelled... this is the best Green Gables adaptation
3 Thoughts After Watching ‘Wish’:
Gaston officially has a rival for the sexiest Disney villain.
My first major thought is how I don’t understand the disdain this film has been getting. This was a solid Disney story. A touching standalone fairytale, with great characters, gorgeous animation, and those signature Disney tunes. Yeah, there were a lot of Easter eggs. I loved ‘em. This is clearly a love letter to Disney history, to the man himself, and I was moved by it.
“Knowing What I Know Now” is a certified bop. And I was giving ALL the snaps when the queen joined in.
What a great concept by Disney to create a film based around what they believe in and practice as this film follows a magical town that is run by a king who keeps everyone’s wishes and desires, safe supposedly until something unexpected happens, and a rising star has to come to the rescue in a young teenage girl. There was some good music in this film, but not enough to your liking as most Disney films have. It was comical, funny and emotional like all Disney films usually are but it seemed like it was missing that something special. So if there was a little bit more music and had that special flare, this movie would get a 10 out of 10. But because it does not, it is just a solid Well done movie.
Yes thank you I absolutely WILL enjoy another random Netflix YA adaptation because I am a little sucker.
The Mysterious Benedict Society is surprisingly captivating. Not only from the story, but also from the characters and visuals. Recommended children's show.
This was a delightful show. Even though this is a Dinsey show it is a little darker and more intense than their usual fare.
There are similarities to "A Series of Unfortunate Events", so if you liked that show you will undoubtedly enjoy this as well.
The highlight for me was little Constance. That character tickled my funny bone. She had some of the best lines and attitudes every episode.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Brilliantly made and ridiculously entertaining. Hopefully we will see more than just a single season of this!
Luz: "Good morning, you little cutie-pie."
[Luz starts kissing his head.]
King: "I am not your cutie-pie!"
[King pushes away. Luz hugs him.]
Luz: "Yes, you are."
[Luz puts King down. King collapses and sighs.]
King: "I know."King: "This is where we met the scones. I mean, the wizard."
Luz: "What?"
Magical wizard: "Your hubris has failed you, witch apprentice!"
Eda: "Oh, did you want some of that?"
Luz: "Eda, how did you know that wizard was lying?"
**Eda: "...look, kid, everyone wants to believe they're 'chosen,' but if we waited around for a prophecy to make us special, we'd die waiting, and that's why you need to choose yourself."
7/10
Brilliant! Looking back the first season wasn't my favourite but Season 2+ was amazing, has to be one of my top shows a real underdog here.
Starts off pretty bad then all of a sudden you've been awake for 20 hours and binge watched the entire thing.
Persevere through those initial few bad episodes and you're in for a right treat.
When I first started watching I tought this was going to be one of CW's crap and cliché teen shows with love triangles and annoying storylines. But then I continued watching even though the first episodes were bad and I gotta say I'm happy that I gave it a try, unexpected things happened and the show only got better and better. This is one of the few CW's shows that's worth watching.
better and better, is in my top 3 the best tv show!
Navillera is one of the most touching series I had ever seen. I'm so happy for started it. I have no words to describe how am I feeling right now after finished this beautiful series.
Contrary to the visual of 4 girls on bikes in the 80s, this is not a STRANGER THINGS knockoff. Even though the protagonists are 12 years old (played by 15 year olds) this is not a kids show, the language alone is child inappropriate. What this is, however, is a pretty well conceived spin on a well travelled SciFi theme. Although it is based on a mystery/science graphic novel series, written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Cliff Chiang, where the comic was more an action adventure, the movie is more relational drama, thanks to the chemistry between the four fine actors who inhabit the main characters. It speaks a lot to who we are, our hopes and dreams for ourselves and our futures. That’s not to say there isn’t a persistent thriller vibe and a real obstacle to overcome. Loved the characters and their performances. Loved the story arc. Loved the poignant moments. I give this series an 8 (endearingly novel) out of 10. [SciFi Mystery Drama]
This show is amazing. It starts off with a sci-fi premise but soon delves into a look a difference between dreams of the future and how Thise dreams are altered by the reality of life. As the titular paper girls are thrust into the future, they see things aren't as they expected. I especially like that the adults in the show aren't portrayed in a cartoonish way, as each show understanding and compassion seeing at their younger selves.
The best parts of the show is when the main characters are caught up in an adult problem and tackle them with 12 year old solutions. That means no BS, a headstrong attitude, and chaos.
Like I said, amazing.
:heart:x8
This was a GREAT show!! Why do idiots run streaming services?
This show is interesting, engaging, unique, different, imaginative, and yet the powers-that-be decide to cancel it. They could have gotten 2-3 more years out of it easily.
Notice to all Network, Cable and Streaming Service Programming Directors:
If you can not commit to 2 to 3 seasons for a brand new show from day one, then please DO NOT even waste your time and money creating the first season.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too

I think my specialty is watching shows that end up being cancelled after the first season lol. Ofc i got super attached to the characters and i will now suffer!! I suppose the intention of this show was centered around representation and also dealing with trauma and coming of age exc exc so i would say that it didn’t really leave the room for a great plot.
I’ll probably read the comic soon so we’ll see.
Also brb going to watch the wilds and get attached to new characters i will never see again after 1 season byee
Got to give props when due, no way they could come close to the comic but they gave a valiant effort. Still I enjoyed this looking forward to the next if they don’t cancel it
“Amazon Prime making Stranger Things, but different enough to avoid a lawsuit.”
It’s actually based on a comic series. I have read a little bit of it and it’s not Stranger Things.
Either you love this movie or you don't. I loved it, I think it's supposed to be cringe and everything. I loved the cameos and the story line. I got a kick out of the one liners and references to other movies and shows. Hopefully we'll see more
Oh. My. Gods.
Just so much better than Shazam.
Has everything that a Shazam movie needs.
9/10
In the first 10 minutes of the first chapter he already turns the movie twenty times.
Do not expect uncontrolled action, it is a series of magic and vampirism, of politics and social class struggle.
Many people will consider it slow and soporific but that is where its grace lies, it cooks over a slow fire and has a good plot.
The cast does very well and although it is true that they do not fit very well with some descriptions of the books they do an excellent job.
Recommendable.
It was surprisingly good. I liked it and I look forward to watch season 2.
Funniest movie I have seen in years. There is no way Dr Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is going to do multiverse better.
Yeah, there's plot holes. But the movie is so damned funny you just don't care. When they first explained how the multiverse thing worked my reaction was "Really? Is that all?". But it just got better and better and better.
There's periods of the movie you're struggling to breathe you're laughing so hard, and others that are just slow, deep, and sad. It's heartbreaking and hilarious. Slow and a thousand miles per hour. Nothing happening and more happening than you can possibly keep track of at once.
This movie is, without a doubt, brilliant.
Enjoyable but incredibly overrated and an absolutely terrible ending.
Perfect Bonus Episode , this was a great adaptation of the dream country
insanely good episode and the final sequence was a masterpiece. this season has absolutely shattered me so far
Loving the Mike and Will angst
