I pushed back watching this for a while now. I did not want to go through what I went through when I watched Clannad. Yet here I am... feeling so down after watching this amazing piece of art. It makes me wonder what kind of life I'm living, and why I feel so empty after watching Anime such as this one.
Friendship is an amazing thing, but not everyone gets to experience it... Anxiety, depression, social awkwardness, etc. This Anime really puts that into perspective, among many other things.
My final thoughts: If you have not watched this yet, or you are trying to decide whether you should, please know that this Anime is an emotional roller coaster, and you will likely cry or feel very depressed after watching this. I pushed back watching this because I did not want to cry, but I watched it tonight and have no regrets. Watch this masterpiece when you are ready, and don't force yourself into it. I'm glad I waited.
I liked the Show, but... Damn its just so weird to see a dork like Gus get so much P**** all the time. It just seems to unrealistic...

It's nothing like the other movies in the series. Very mature, dark and brutal but also authentic in it's own way. The best movie in the X-men universe.
Holy SHIT was this amazing. And it's a real R. I wanted to clap every 15 minutes. Spectacular.
I agree with deanzel, the villain to me was obvious from the start, but overall was a good time. My fav part really was when they were all young, and the next part was kinda boring and weird.
Damn. While the teacher was super obvious as the killer, I was hoping that the creators were throwing us off on purpose with a blatant red herring. Other than that flaw, this was a fantastic episode with a "mini-showdown" between Satoru and sensei. With only two more episodes to go, it's f'n game time.
Definitely back on track now. I do think the episodes in the past are a lot stronger than the present ones. Feels like there's more at stake and the emotional impact is greater. We're back to that underlying feel of unease and dread, even when it feels like things are going well. The series does a great job at having you care for Kayo and hoping she will be saved.
I don't get the other ratings.. I think this movie is gorgeous.
The end was a bit of a turn off to me. Kilgrave was the one who kept the show interesting most of time and I think his end should've been more epic than that.
Am I the only one that can't stand this new Piper? I hate how obnoxious she has become... Also, loved the ending of the season, it was so happy!
I died laughing when the girls are running to freedom and the guard comes out and is like "NOPE..." and walks back in lol
The last 15 minutes of the episode made me so happy. I fucking love this show -- you can realise the true happiness is on simple things. Remind us to be sensitive.
I know this is a series but I'm legit sad because of all the transphobia, mostly because we all know shits like this happens on a daily basis in real life :(
