This is quite the expensive Overwatch advertisement...
Seems like they made every guy here a rapist so that it's "ok" for her to gun them down..
Gotta say this was quite the unexpected Akira tribute ;).
Now as an unintentional comedy... this is hilarious. Had me bursting from laughter!
I wasn't ready for the writing to be so bad...
Easily one of the worst episodes I've seen. Cody at this point is behaving like a cartoon character and the meta "humor" really is just for injokes... The follow-up is just as bad.
Posted at the wrong episode :D...
I like that they are actually trying to make portrait mode less awkward for Reno. All the PSAs at the end have had flexible graphics and text and here you can actually watch Big Mike's tripod POV through the live stream including chat. That said... I only noticed it by accident which does not speak for the feature :clown:.
I bet they are done with that Max storyline just like that... even if it was stupid.
The writing for Good Girls has always been convenient but damn are they doubling down on stupid. They might be sloppy and reckless but the bird and the phone... cmn.
I have only watched three episodes so far but this certainly feels the most staged of them...
As the abrupt expo dump from last episode already indicated this changed it's angle quite fast... to boring battles for coins apparently - meh.
Woha... foodgasm extravaganza this episode and while they can be fun to watch this felt more like a clipshow.
From here on out Corona delays... :disappointed:

Part of Adult Swim's "April Fools Day" stealth premieres. The regular broadcast for S3 is somewhen in Summer 2020.
Edit:
The theories were right. 12oz Mouse returns July 20 at midnight on Adult Swim.
Part of Adult Swim's "April Fools Day" stealth premieres. The regular broadcast for S2 starts May 10th.
Imagine getting paid to animate boobies in a massage chair... The show is now at a point that I didn't reach in the manga so that is cool but was Suzuki's deal really that small that they already needed to spoil it all with the ED?
I was very aware of ToG's popularity but the webtoon format is not something that appeals to me (only read a few of them in my life). The medium allows for self publishing and thereby often has different standards for art and writing and this certainly applies here. The show actually keeps some of the simpler artstyle present which in some scenes worked out fine while in others it was just plain ugly looking.
Let's just put it to my age as I'm not the target audience but the pacing for this is really fast (with only a regular season order so far), the MC does not appear likable, power levels are whack and it's already packed with shounen clichés of the worst kind. In addition to that the scenario didn't feel believable (how he got there, what the first test was, being there but not having the device required to get through the tower, etc...). I don't think I missed out and won't be following this along.
A really weak season and this clunky establishment of Endeaver as a "symbol" through the pointless hero popularity ranking is not really fueling any hope in me (I mean Hawks was interesting but Endeavor wanting to redeem himself by being a strong hero and conveniently not having his full powers active - meh).
Oh, did the actually cast Danes husband this season ? This could be interesting.
And here I thought I was lucky because I fell three episodes behind... these damn cliffhangers :exploding_head:!
Didn't like how the show developed in it's first season and this continuation doesn't do it either for me with lazy AI exposition and contrived plot lines. Not going to finish this.
I mean it's SAO but damn this was a messy episode... The girl protecting Synthesis Two was savage but not only was the whole defense setup convoluted but also the power-levels all over the place.
I mean this was already a lame sitcom but this episode felt like a further dip in quality. Do they even remember their premise...
I cannot help but think this episode was made to bait people into start/continue watching if it were perceived positively because this is not the format for it nor should something like this be made this early into a show.
While I liked the first 10 minutes and the duo of Cristin Milioti and Jake Johnson it just quickly turned into "cringe" as there was a major disconnect between what they wanted to tell and how they went about it in a video game context....
A good point to drop this show tho.
Here is hoping the next arc is better but I don't think they can manage to get out of the lazy writing mode they are in. It's not surprising they killed of Nighteye as they already fail to properly balance the existing quirks...
Ugh... I guess it is that kind of a show.
Damn, this was haunting.
Killing the peeing guys cmn man...
This show still has some leniency from me but why are people still hyping this..? Unlike previous episodes we got less inappropriate flashbacks but it still takes a character to call them out for standing around. But guess what they went on to do after finally bursting the walls down to the bad guy #1 ? This pacing just makes everything feel hollow (hope it was worth it for the movie). The fights are all in the same boring hallway which apparently is also quite easily broken into from above LOL and involves tons of scene blocking with endless spikes and other lazy ways to not having to animate much on screen. Overhaul's powers are also on-demand adjusted as it's constantly scaled down what he apparently can do just so that the "must-safe-loli-at-all-cost-gang" can compete just disintegrate everyone OK?. Imagine having your final wishes be disrespected and not getting further away than 10 yards from the action and they are not even making excuses..
Jesus! Cool it with the flashbacks will ya?
