What a drag this episode was. Boring and not scary. Can’t connect to these two characters somehow. What was their plan with the kids anyway? They already tried getting away from the estate in Rebeccas body and that didn’t go well soooo... ?
Guillermo's accidental vampire-hunting is fun (and surprisingly well-orchestrated; that twin rising and coming towards them in the background is creepy), and the Bloody Mary chain email stuff is absolute riot. "Let's see how she likes it when I send an email to bloodyfuckingmary @ aol.com!"
A one-sided piece of propaganda. Truly disturbing in what it wants to convey.
As a massive fan of the original series, I was pretty apprehensive about this one. So far at least, this one doesn't seem to betray the spirit of the original. Some pretty nice visuals here and I quite like Kino and Hermes' voice actors. Getting used to the more "modern" animation style may take some getting used to and I did notice a bit of scene re-use already which I hope they keep to a minimum. All in all it does seem to be going for the same contemplative tone so here's hoping it will remain consistent throughout.
Well that was a cute and enjoyable series ultimately. Probably not particularly memorable in the long-term but it looked pretty nice and had some fun characters and endearing moments.
I suppose if you had come into this expecting something like "Everyday Life with Monster Girls", you may be disappointed since was more of a slice-of-life comedy rather than a raunchy harem comedy.
So much cut-and-paste from Love Live! season 1. SO MUCH.
I want to like this show, I really do. But so far it's spent way too much time trying to tell me, "Look! I'm still Love Live! See how similar I am?"—and that feels incredibly cheap, like the writers couldn't think of any original ideas so they paraphrased the story outlines from the first show.
A little bit of originality crept in here at the end (when it turned out people didn't come to the concert because Chika put the wrong day on the fliers), but other than that it felt like a carbon copy of how µ's got their name and the START:DASH!! concert. Sloppy writing there at the end of the episode, too. It just kind of ended, and there was nothing after the ED even though it felt like there should have been some kind of tag on it.
This is episode 3, and I usually decide whether to continue with an anime after 3 episodes. For now I will keep going, since averaging 6/10 isn't bad enough to stop me. But if I keep having to fight down the urge to rant about how much of a copy this show is, I'll eventually throw in the towel.
This time they ended up in one of their shorts for the animator expo. You can find it here:

The real version is a little more... explicit...
And we finally reach the end. I feel like I could say a lot about this series if I got going, but I'm instead just going to sum up my feelings by saying... meh. It was okay I guess. It's a shame that I feel that way now since I was really wowed by the first series back in the day, but oh well.
At least studio Shuka can now concentrate on getting Natsume S5 ready :D
Oh shit son, dark Gilgamesh! This is what we were waiting for :D
rating sys it all, loved it, one of the best series finales I've ever seen for sure, hillarious as always and actually made me a little sad
p.s. - I'm still hoping they're messing with us and they will just just rename it again, lol, sigh.
this episode doesn't have nearly enough lazily written exposition
A cough? Well, imouto-chan is doomed :P
Such lewdness. This series is getting worse. Starting to worry about the police smashing my door down.
On that note it feels an appropriate time to re-post this: http://loli.dance/
damn it I had hope for this show, didn't expect them to make the mc another cliche vengeful arrogant dude whose only motivation is to exterminate a entire race of monsters or bad guys because let me guess... they killed his family didn't they... glad i never saw that before (Eren, Yuichiro).
also what kind of base just lets a soldier just walk out while under siege
well at least the animations a bit unique.
One thing that definitely works against this show sometimes is having so many characters. Some of them are great, but some of them are just annoying so when you get an episode like this, filled with all the characters you don't like, it's not very fun :(
Yeah... gonna say no to this one.
Cute side story. Was nice to see a bit of development for Shu since he can be quite a fun side character (and lord knows there won't be progress in the main story... ever :P). RuriXShu OTP though :P
Aww, that was kinda sweet. I was expecting a "nothing really happens" OVA, which is kind of true, but I wasn't expecting them to ACTUALLY KISS at the end. Hurray!
Here's the biggest problem I can see with how things are going so far: Now that Haruhi has burst onto the scene again she just overshadows Yuki. Yuki is cute and all but Haruhi always becomes the center of attention, and her chemistry with Kyon is all too apparent yet again.
Since this is Yuki's story, I'm sure they'll pull it back somehow, but in the last couple of episodes they haven't done themselves any favours in that regard.
A masterful execution of immature boobie humor.
Another episode of the show delaying the actual scenario.
The school shenanigans were unneeded and makes little sense. It at least ruined the world building for me...
The homolust "make-a-friend" scenario including dryhumping was quite dumb and the fight also made no sense. It's like she was just waiting for anyone to interrupt her when the MC takes like 5 minutes to get to her and the students even sit f*cking around in fear making it an all you can eat buffet. Obviously everything is fine when you fall out the third floor if you land on a bush, duhh!
Pretty weak mid-season finale..
