Funny as shit. And then sad as hell when you realize it's basically just a documentary.
Ignore the INSANE bad reviews on this and see it! It's great! Such a great time! Honestly shocked by the bad reviews. I mean 32% on RT?! No way. Loved!
This movie takes no hostages... The driving was absolutely top notch, the special effects were beyond good and although the action was relentless, it never once felt fatigued or over done. This movie delivers on all its promises. If you want a pure action flick that wastes no time, Mad Max Fury Road is it!
I liked the film, even though logic was often sacrificed for effect. For example: G.H. reaches the beach and discovers a wristwatch sticking out of the sand. He uncovers the watch and discovers an arm. He looks up and sees the body of a pilot belonging to the arm. He continues to look around and sees that there are bodies and debris all over the beach, including huge pieces of debris from the plane. The effect was nice, but of course you would have seen the debris and the bodies immediately, and not discovered the watch first.
Against all the critics I read, I just loved the movie. Visually stunning and brlliant performances by Pratt and Lawrence. Definitly worths watch this one on cinema.
This is the "Prometeus school of little space explorer" all over again.
They have the technology, they have the know-how, but for some reason they put the worst possible people in charge of the most important mission of human history.
It's like NASA put highschoolers inside Apollo 11.
Why writers can't write a good sci-fi show without making people complete incompetents?
I miss SG1
I so love a happy ending. That was a happy ending, right?
Mother! was a moving experience. I think if you go in with an open mind you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for a standard horror film then see something else. If you want to see something original, Mother! is one of the best I’ve seen this year.
FML I know I went to see Fast and Furious and I expected to see some ridiculous scenes but they sent a car into space to knock out a satellite dish . Were the writers high?
Did Dom and his brother have different mums or Dads as that wasn't explained at all
The original Fast and Furious was the best and the more they make the more they need to outdo the last one.
F10 will have time travel and dinosaurs in it.
Visceral, astonishing, creepy, mind blowing, a flick of nature.
I love that shit, omfg! Funny, dark, refreshing and always something new. 10/10 recommend!
An engrossing, expansive, and incredibly well made film. It has it’s issues but for the most part it’s a very worthy sequel.
I have watched the movie in Cinemark preview yesterday, and I can say, well done! The movie is genuine and funny, you will enjoy every moment of it and won't feel bored at all. The dynamic between Ryan and the boy is amazing, and the story, camera, and dialogs are good, and there are some emotional moments too in the movie, plus the action, drama, and sci-fi. I highly recommend watching this movie.
except for the kinda shitty trailer, this movie really suprised me. it got everything right, had much pleasure watching it and cant wait to see more of this fantastic universe come to cinema!
Finally, a good sequel. Good god the animation, it's so beautiful. And the action was so smooth. Also, Pixar better gives us a short movie about Edna babysitting Jack-Jack.
The title seems to have a double meaning. Not only for the 'monster' of the film, but it is also one of those movies that gets under your skin. I can't stop thinking about it.
The film has very unique feel to it, an 80's vibe, a creepy unique premise and a constant feeling of unease, I can now see why this has been getting so much press throughout the horror scene.
A Must Watch!
Really funny movie. A bit crude, but still funny. Plus Jennifer Aniston... you know what I'm sayin'?
That show just loves to mess with your head and leave you hanging there with all the questions and none of the answers, doesn't it? Brilliant.
Personally I don't quite understand the bad reviews this movie has. Yes, it's a very long movie, which they probably could shorten a lot to tell the same story, but still it's a good one. The scenery was great, the acting and music was good (imo) and I thought it was a good story too. Kept me seated the whole 2,5 hours.
This is a great film but I must recommend you watch Resolution first! Same guys made it and the story begins there. https://trakt.tv/movies/resolution-2012
I had kinda high expectations after reading the comments here, and I was really disappointed as it wasn't near as good as I'd hoped. The concept is good, but it was badly executed as it was never any interesting or engaging. Dull is probably the most fitting description.
One of the greatest satirical dark comedies of all times. A true masterpiece.
What? No Milla Jovovich? Wouldn't be the same.
What a piece of shit. Maybe the two worst actors I've seen in a long time. Very very poor. I'm out
I am disappointed with this movie. I had such high expectations. There were many gaps in portraying the story. I am very familiar with the British history so I was able to fill in the gaps. But I was with my teenage daughter and she got lost in the story. First of all, there was no explanation as to why the religion mattered. Second, many stories were rushed, no detail provided while some other stories/parts dragged. And as I watched the scene when Elizabeth and Mary met for the first time I realized that this whole movie is about women empowerment. The way the story was told, the focus was on the strength and power of the women (mostly Mary). I don't like how Elizabeth was portrayed as a weak and insecure woman. Actually, the truth was quite the opposite - she was strong and smart woman. She knew what she wanted. She never married because she knew that she would lose power the moment she tied the knot. This is what ultimately brought Mary's demise.
If the focus of the movie was telling the story rather than making a point, the result would have been much better movie. Right now the movie lacks a seamless story telling. What a waste of good actors. And btw, I think they overdid it with Elizabeth's make up.
Both films are fantastic but second definitely scores higher than the first with more action, better camera work and affects were so much better and definitely was more noisier than the first and loved the ending and hoping it doesn’t end there because I’d love a 3rd movie, back story on the aliens would be nice but wouldn’t mind if they still keep it quiet..
Godzilla was terrible. You don't even see the eponymous monster till the last fifth of the film and the first actual fight doesn't take place until then either. But, don't worry, in case you came in expecting some nice action, be sure to be disappointed because you won't be able to see anything at all, as everything either ends before it even starts, or it'll be constantly shrouded in darkness and smoke. No, instead of getting Godzilla for most of the movie, you get some melodramatic human characters you don't care about at all and who never develop. The acting's terrible, and Ken Watanabe in particular just stands around with his mouth open, staring, in practically every scene he's in. Everybody just stands around making irrational and irresponsible decisions too. It took me like five sessions to finally finish it because there was barely any motivation to do so.
