Worst episode of the season, and probably of the whole series.
The episodes of this season so far are really underwhelming.
Seems like they want to repeat with Cameron Monaghan what they did with Robin Lord Taylor. Sadly, Cameron is a terrible actor in opposite to Robin. I don't buy his acting one bit, it's pretty overacted every single time, he's annoying the moment he appears.
The shooting in the police department was terrible as well. Police men seem to be simple puppets in this show.
Make a briefing and tell them of Gordon's ex-wife but don't pay any attention when she's in your police department, because of a little make-up. Don't even take cover if someone throws a flash grenade next to your frigging desk. No, no.
But most of all, don't shoot the bad guys because script demands otherwise, instead get shot yourself.
So far, I am incredibly disappointed in this season. It's throwing stupidity at its audience in a way I didn't discover in season 1.
Average episode. i'm already tired of Abigail and please that red headed journalist is a pain.
This series was starting to lose me but this episode got us all back to that initial intrigue! Loved it and now can't wait for more.
That moment with Bassam and his son was real! I felt that emotion...
that spoiler on the episode image...
Really felt like the Jimmy side of things is getting a bit boring at the moment, unfortunately as I was really enjoying it at the start of the season, luckily we have Mike to fall back on, and his story at the moment is what's holding the show up for me, the final scene alone was spectacular, tension and acting wise.
The Jimmy part of this episode wasn't interesting but the last 15 mins were so intense!
Puked a little in my mouth when I saw Fish Mooney, all dead and still wearing perfect make up, about to be resurrected. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. This was a good season so far.
This show has really went downhill. The season finale wasn't even that great. Very disappointed.
Best season of the serie. I really believed Andy Whitfield was the Spartacus. The other guy had no the same charisma.
"It's just a flying saucer, Ed. We gotta go." lol, Peggy kills me.
I didn't know I could love James Hetfield any more than I did but this episode did it.
Season 1 was pretty good, now season 2 is just so, so boring. I really hope this picks up. And that they started shooting 35mm or digital for later seasons. Certainly one of the ugliest shows on TV as of season 2.
I am 900% done with the Governor. please somebody kill that guy. Then kill him again.
Darryl using the skull of the living zombie to get that guy off him was so fucking cool.
Finally an episode that isn't 40 minutes of nothing.
Found this series more or less by coincidence and ordered the BluRay on a hunch. I'm very pleased with myself for doing that (-:
Because Silicon Valley is really good, way better than IT crowed to which it is compared often IMHO. Another great example for the fact that sitcoms / comedy series do not need a laughter track (yes, I am talking to you Chuck Lorre ;-)).
Hope the guys keep up the good work in Season 2 and 3!
My head is literally in pain from this film...I'm left feeling empty. If you asked me what I just witnessed in these past 2 hours, I honestly couldn't describe what took place. The entire thing felt like a bunch of messy jump-cut, foggy action sequences stacked up on top of eachother with NO character substance or plot to hold it together. The writing was terrible and insanely cliche, there was no depth, and absolutley nothing to be taken from watching this. Oh and in addition - the use of that soundtrack - terrible, sad such a good song like Heathens is even a part of the franchise. Wish they had spent more money building the storyline and chracters (WHO HAD PROMISE WITH THE RIGHT WRITING) than promoting the shell it became...
I loved this movie.
It has just the enough amount of action for - not the have the whole movie revolve around it, and still enjoy great guns, gunning, and sniper rifles.
The movie had no "comic" (AKA Idiotic) character, for which i'm thankful. The characters were believable enough and convinced me they acted in a senseable and logical way. Our lead character is the unlike superhero which we're used to see, and has his personal problems, which really made me like him.
The story was nice enough and i really looked forward to see what happens!
I liked Ben here, him being serious and kind'a down spirited. I think the since Good Will Hunting, when his buddy Matt won the raffle of playing the suffering genius, he (Ben) wanted to act this part. So they gave it to him + many guns !
Overall - Not the banal action movie but a good and classy one. I recommend.
P.S Good for Jonny B, who else but TWD's Shane, for acting yet another douchey bad guy.
Spoiler edit: is it just me or that the J K Simmons storyline had hardly anything to do with the main plot?!? OK They had their thing in the 10 years ago past, but since then - only that lame phone call! what gives??
Not beeing American doesn´t connect me as much with the topic but Cranstons performance alone was worth watching this. I've never pictured LBJ beeing that way.
Yes Yes Yes!!! after a sh*ty 3rd episode they are back with a bang. my god what piece of art this episode is.
Love you Silicon Valley.
Every new episode is better than the last one, how is it possible? Amazing
A decent political satire with a good heart and a sense of humour. Sandra Bullock is good in the lead and the film is better when it allows her to act as opposed to the occasional slapstick which undermines both the film and the actress.
Goddamn if the tears didn't flow while they were all eating dinner. Brutal and satisfying, a spectacular way to open the new season.
If you liked this movie (and especially if you didn't and you just wanna rip on it :) , then go ahead and watch
South Park - 15x06 - City Sushi
It's like this movie but in 20 minutes and funny.
Still going strong after three episodes. Better already than the second season imo.
oh another cliffhanger, how nice
Elaine and I have the same coworkers.
