Lyra looks a lot older now, and Will. I guess due to the delays because of covid.
on the last scene why not disable lydia and take the car? no keys, learn to hot wire damn it
The only good thing about the show these recent seasons was John. To kill him off in such a way was so annoying. Why? His charisma and his whole character development do not add up with this episode. I have rated this episode really high considering that ftwd is usually the pathway to expect the unexpectable. I hope “it’s not too late” for the show to really redeem itself from what appears to be just ashes now. In my opinion, ftwd at some points had better execution than the main show but this season it is such of a poorer plot/narrative quality. Such a shame! Still better than the crap twd world beyond. Fingers crossed, things will ramp up to be better toward this season finale.
These shows are just bad. I keep watching because I can't give up a show unless it's completely unwatchable. It's a gift and a curse. They killed off my favorite character and the only redeeming part of this show. But it's a trend...Keep all the annoying characters and get rid of the good ones. Only thing I can say is the actors are smart to jump off the sinking ship. This episode literally ruined my day. AND I was really liking Dakota. Hope something very bad happens to you you little idiot.
Well, there it is. John Dorie was the only redeeming thing about this show, an outlier of decency in a sea of one dimensional, boring, vapid, insufferably stupid characters.
And the geniuses behind FTWD decided they’d kill him off in the most bait and switch fuck-with-your-emotions manner possible. Have fun with that.
Recipe to tank your show:
What took them soooooo long to make an episode like this? This is really the only episode in this extended season 10 that you can call "good". As good as the episode was, it's also annoying though that they wasted the other 5 episodes telling origin stories of dogs and literally chasing rats. I hope they end this series with Negan actually saving everyone, and Maggie killing him anyway, because even if he is the ONLY interesting character left, the show and his story should end. Daryl and Carol and their little spin off series interests me as much as watching a 45 inning baseball game, their time came and went and they passed the point where anyone cares, but they can at least end this on a high note with Negan redeeming himself while still getting what should've come to him a few seasons ago.
It amazes me that walking dead could have the worst episode of the series, to arguably one of the best ever on the show; back to back.
This show is beyond boring now it’s sad this show was exciting every week now it’s on its last leg . I only watch it cause been watching from
Day one
By God's Lyra is aging fast! The danger of actors in that age group. You're always racing against puberty hitting!
A good season opener and I can see the benefit of setting up Will's story last season so we can hit the ground running in this one.
Ruth Wilson shines as always. Still perfect casting in my opinion.
There's something very familiar about this show some forgotten past or something.... It's one of my favorites.
All I can say, besides this having been a wonderful, excellent show, is that I keep thinking Iorek will transform into Optimus Prime whenever he talks.
Finally... Part two of 'the golden compass' was never to come so this is something i am really waiting for!
Lilith is annoyingly way too eager to get that halo. Voice-overs have to go.
Honestly, I was a little turned off by the name of the show... but I thoroughly enjoyed this series and am looking forward to season 2. As the others said, there are some pacing issues. It starts out action packed and fun, and then gets a little slow for a few episodes as the story unfolds and the characters are explored, but then picks back up shortly thereafter.
I 100% agree with the others about the ending. The ending actually had me saying"Wait... The f?? ...that was the last episode??", as the credits rolled and ads for the next show started. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome and I still recommend giving the show a go, but just the way it ended was just..."what the hell was that?". Wait for season 2 before watching.
pure garbage. Unrealistic. Stupid . Period.
This is NOT an action show as many might expect and hope for. This show is very heavy on the Drama. But that doesn't mean it is not good...it is. It is probably a slightly more realistic look at a "mission to Mars" flight and all the physical and emotional burdens and risks that come along for the ride.
"Outside of aliens landing, I don't know where [show creator]Taylor is going to go from here."
- Wes Bentley(Jamie)
Seriously that Apollon captured Patrick and give him a new cap to match the colors of the clothes?!
it's just like hercules and xena in the 90s, kinda like it. shame on me :-P
Original, exciting and terrifying.
Series with coherent, connecting episodes.
Pretty slow some places of season 2 and 3, just keep dragging it out with show stoppers and unnatural character twists. This presents scenes that are excruciatingly boring to watch. So far I'm really enjoying season 4, though!
Characters: 10/10
It's so awesome.
###Acting, directing and technical quality: 9/10
So something weird happened here in Season 3, where everything got really abstract in terms of directing, and it seems like they are trying way too hard on the artsy-fancy-pancy in season 3. Season 3 gets 5/10 for the weird directing attempts (acting still really good).
###Progression first season: 8/10
Season 2 and 3 gets 5/10.
###Plot agility: 7/10
The plot changes slowly between the seasons, but in season 3 it all kinda fell down after a while.
I decided to give season 4 a shot, and so far so good.
###Other scores
Intensity (cliffhangers, edge of seat and the like): 9/10
Drama: 9/10
