Just another movie Dc fans can be disappointed of.Boring Storyline could be tolerated. But why are the action scenes so cheesy:expressionless:
I'm just here, still wondering why the chandelier...
Absolute shite. Please don't waste your time. Very predictable with a horrible ending. They don't show you who the killer is and what his intentions were for doing what he did. They explained absolutely nothing. I wasted an hour and a half on this dreadful movie. Don't make the same mistake I made.
“The Chernobyl girls’ choir is the finest in the land.”
“They glow.”
Kid traveling from the future to meet her parents before she's born is such a classic fanfic trope. I'm into it. The scenes with Chloe, Lucifer and Rory were a lot of fun. Rory is definitely her father's daughter. But my favorite part of the episode was Rory running into Maze, Eve and Amenadiel. That was pure comedic gold. I loved the trio's increasingly panicked speculation about the future and the reveal that Rory was messing with them all along. Time travel being Rory's angel power is a plausible enough explanation for her presence.
Chloe and Lucifer smashing the shit out of each other (and not in the way you think) was definitely... interesting. Did not see that coming, even though I noticed Chloe's growing obsession with her super strength. Chloe's breakdown afterwards was beautifully acted by Lauren.
Chloe and Dan's conversation brought a tear or two to my eyes. Absolutely lovely.
Ella knows! Or at least suspects. Fucking hell, this took forever. It's so cool that she's figuring it out all on her own like the smart cookie that she is. Should've happened a couple seasons ago though.
The mental image of Amenadiel taking a goose to the face mid-flight is a highlight of the entire series.
SOMEBODY SEDATE ME I'M SOBBING SO MUCH IT HURTS </3
"Harry Potter" + "Vampire Diaries", and practically nothing from the original "Winx Club"
Ah, yes, the true and tried method of staring into your potential offspring's eyes to determine paternity. Why do courts even bother with genetic tests?
This might be my favorite episode so far, I liked the country-wide search for Lucifer's potential daughter. And damn if I didn't think "what if she's Deckerstar's kid from the future" at the beginning of the episode . Looks like I might be right, although I have no idea how they're gonna explain time travel. Onto the next one!

FINALE THOUGHTS:
ONE: In labor Teddy is just hilariously awesome. :D And I’m conflicted about Owen's “declaration.” Because I want Teddy to have what she wants, but I also know what she wants is bad for her. I’m not sold on Owen’s “change.”
TWO: Jackson and Maggie need to breakup. They are just terrible together, period. Not having respect for your partner is the lowest of all lows. There’s no going back now.
THREE: Everything about Meredith and Deluca feels contrived, which I get, they need drama for next season. But it’s still not making me feel or care about them at all.
FOUR: I am 100% on board the Amelink ship, though I wasn’t mad they ended it. A, because they were civil and mature about it which is a reason I love them even MORE now. And B, it’s clearly not the end. I think she just needs time alone first, and I encourage that.
"3 signs of puberty: Acne, pubes, and wings"
Seeing DeLuca take care of his own mental health is so good to see!
Altman talking about "her Allison" makes me remember that awful episode where they introduced that storyline out of the blue trying to convince us that this Allison person was the love of Teddy's life when we have never heard about her, and they changed Teddy's whole character into a cheater! And seriously, you can't be mad at Owen for finding out his wife named their daughter after an ex-lover!
oh my god ... nooooo ... i was holding my head through the entire ending ... then came looking for the next episode .. this cannot end this way ... :worried::confused::disappointed::confounded:
I've rewritten this a few times now, previously along the lines of the "flogging a dead horse" idiom. Then it dawned on me, sure you can try, but you can't fix willful ignorance, that's a personal choice. However, you can keep flogging until your intended audience is forced to look and see the horse for what it truly is, and if they're not looking, at least for their friends and family who are looking to see enough to stay on them to change. THAT is the point of "flogging the dead horse". To be as constant, as insidious as prejudice and self deception, and eventually it will effect positive change.
9x17 in normal order, 9x03 on Disney+?
What a neat move injecting the sedative like that from House, lol XD
